Model CAF in chosen organization of public administration

The aim of the diploma thesis is to implement model CAF in the chosen municipality and to compare current results with results of the implementation of model CAF 2009. Theoretical-methodological part of thesis was devoted to definition of theoretical base in public administration, quality in public administration and quality management tools. There are significant documents in the theoretical part like The Common Assessment Framework 2013 manual and its adapted manual focused on the office of public administration made in 2014. Practical part is focused on application of model CAF in Tábor public administration. During the processing of practical part there were analyzed documents provided by Tábor municipality. There was created a evaluating report according to criteria and subcriteria of the model based on these documents. At the end of the practical part there was made SWOT analysis for each criterion. The aim of the evaluation (with the help of a self-assessment model) was to identify areas with a space for improvement and its strengths.
Application of modern methods of production management in small business - Acan

The bachelor thesis deals with application of modern management methods, leading to improvement, acceleration and standardization of the manufacturing processes, to a small business Acan. The main objective is the verification whether it is possible to use at least part of the Toyoda company philosophy, which solves problems of the method of 8 steps, in the conditions of a small business. The method enables during eight steps to find the problem and its cause, create counter-measures, and consequentially evaluate the results. The last step is a standardization of the successful process and new cycle of the Kaizen method.
Process analysis (case study - streamlining the processing of credit)

The thesis deals with process analysis (case study - streamlining the processing of credit). The thesis highlights the procedural problems encountered in a particular IT company in processing credit. The theme of the thesis implies the practical orientation of the work, even though the work is divided into two parts. The first and shorter part is a theoretical basis for the practical part. Author finds a possible solution to process problems in modeling of the credit processing's subprocesses and identifying and analyzing problems using the selected methodology PDCA. This methodology is selected on the basis of multi-criteria evaluation. The result of this work is the proposal of measures to identify procedural problems, which is a basis for streamlining the analysed process and its subprocesses. The thesis will be the basis for the introduction of procedural changes in processing credit. The PCDA methology is not complete just with analysis and identification of the problems, so the company will continue in collaboration with the author of the thesis to establish and monitor the proposed changes. Information for the thesis are drawn from business, internet and literary sources, but also from available scientific articles.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide an overview about how the level of information security is solved and evaluated in practice. The readers will learn what metrics are, what are they used for and what role do they play in the Information Security Management System (ISMS). The system itself is being explained as well. The practical part presents execution of a research concerning the status of information security in several organizations and a proposal of several candidate metrics that could be used in the environment of Jihočeská univerzita.

Risk management is a tool, which helps to reveal the security risks to a system and proposal of its security action. And just a risk management will be a main part of work. In the first, theoretical part common definitions of IT security will be described, theory of risk analysis and a method usable for its measuring. In the second part question forms and tables of Risk analysis will be created, which will be filed with network managers of Pedagogical faculty of University of South Bohemia. From these tables final evaluation will be created and will be proposed useful action.
The Application of the Standard ISO 10014 in the Chosen Organization

The thesis concentrates on the International Standard ISO 10014 - Quality management -Guidelines for realizing financial and economic benefits. In the thesis management principles and the simply methodology called PDCA are described. The thesis is focused on the priniple of process approach and nutually beneficial supplier relationship. These methods according to the Standard are applicated: Drum-Buffer-Rope within process approach and the graphical method of supplier rating, the zone control charts and the comprehensive supplier performance evaluation. The benefits from the effective application of these methods and tools are described.
