Sociomapping as a tool for understanding team processes in on-profit organizations

This thesis focuses on team processes, such as cooperation, communication, engagement and work overload in non-profit organizations. Furthermore, it monitors the transformation of these parameters into an optimal form. The transformation is observed through the sociomapping method, which is used to visualize team processes. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with teams and selected processes within them. Attention is also paid to team diagnostics, which aims to describe and comprehend team processes. Additionally, it introduces team interventions which enable better team cooperation. The following chapter focuses on the specifics of teamwork in the non-profit sphere. The empirical part presents a qualitative research, which determines how the sociomapping method realized through the means of action research affects cooperation within a team. Further, it attempts to describe how the visualization of team processes, team coaching and action plans support change in team processes and how all these three interventions influence cooperation and communication within two selected teams of one non-profit organization.
Team cooperation and company culture in construction engineering

This diploma thesis deals with teamwork and corporate culture in construction. The objective of the thesis is at first to theoretically define the topic of teamwork and corporate culture in construction. The theoretical part provides a coherent view of the issue. The practical part presents the results of quantitative and qualitative research. Data were collected through the questionnaires and structured interviews with employees of construction companies. Parts of the thesis are partial conclusions and recommendations for improvement. The result of the diploma thesis is methodological manual for small and medium construction companies. This manual could attract new employees and customers to the companies.

Teamwork and application of equal opportunities in construction engineering

In the Bachelor thesis is concerned with the team collaboration and exercise the equality of opportunities in the construction industry. In the theoretical part I defined the terms in the field of construction industry, strangeness and importance of managerial work, team collaboration and exercise the equality of opportunities. In the practical part I based on four hypotheses, which I investigate using a questionnaire. At the end of the work I draw the conclusions of my hypotheses, whether they were confirmed or refuted.

TITLE: Use of Software Tools for Teamwork at School AUTHOR: Jiří Slabý DEPARTMENT: Department of Information Technology and Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Petra Vaňková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The work is focused on software tools for teamwork including comparison and deployment in a pilot solution in a particular high school. By conducting searches in literature and Internet resources related to the given topic, basic concepts related to teamwork are described and activities that take place within the scope of teamwork are outlined. Software tools for teamwork are analyzed, suitable selection criteria and their weights are set, and a comparison of selected software tools is performed using multiple-criteria analysis. The aim is to choose a suitable tool for teamwork and to propose its use in a particular school. Based on the results of the comparison, the Microsoft Teams team collaboration tool is selected and deployed because it matches the needs of a particular school in the best way. The benefit of this work is an overview and comparison of tools that enable teamwork and communication; the proposed scenarios and practical use of software team tools at school are beneficial, too. Supervision in organization providing institutional and protective upbringing

This thesis deals with the topic of supervision of staffers in organization providing institutional and protective upbringing. The goal of the thesis is to reflect how supervision can support the work of staffers in educational institution. The thesis describes the importance of educational institution, its staffers and educational group as a basic organizational unit. Furthermore thesis characterizes the specifics of team and team cooperation, which takes place in educational groups in these organizations. Next part of this thesis describes supervision like a professional activity which provides support of staffers and its function and main goals. Thesis is focused on specification team supervision in more detail. All findings about supervision in this thesis are applicated to the organization providing institutional and protective upbringing. The last part of the thesis includes results of research. The research investigates a contribution of supervision for staffers of specific organization.
Perception of physiotherapy in context of complex rehabilitation of clients in the Retirement home and in the Home for Disabled People i Újezdec in Klatovy region

The Bachelor Thesis is focused on perception of physiotherapy in the context of comprehensive rehabilitation relating to clients living in the retirement home and the home for disabled people in Újezd near Klatovy. Recently, it used to be forgetting the physiotherapy within complex rehabilitation at the retirement home and the home for disabled people. My primary aim is to find out how the importance of physiotherapy is perceived by clients and by employees of the chosen facility. The Thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. The first two chapters of the theoretical part are focused on population, which is growing old with regard to material security and finding the meaning of life. Old age is not a disease. It is an evolutionary normal state of every human being. In the next two chapters of the theoretical part there are described chosen homes and their function, their target clients and provided services. Following four chapters deal with tools of rehabilitation, which are connected and they are distinguished by well-timing, compactness, completeness. As a follow-up a chapter which is focused on team cooperation of which is to keep or improve quality of living in the most natural environment and prevent social excluding. The last chapter of theoretical part deals with activation activities which belong to fundamental activities provided within social services and they contribute to maintaining or improving psychological, physical and social state of seniors. The practical part contains the research which investigates clients and emploees´ opinion about physiotherapy, especially its importance during maintaining of locomotor system and its methods which are used at chosen facilities. Employees were also asked about other activation activities which can be used by their clients. The research uses a strategy of the qualitative study with a technique of the half-structured interview. During studying of personal documentation there was used the method which is called the analysis of personal data. The research is concerning six clients of the two homes and three specialized employees who work with the clients. Results of their interviews were compared and evaluated. The principal aim of the Thesis was to find out how clients perceive the importance of physiotherapy at chosen homes and obtain answers to three research questions. The first question occupied with service which is offered to clients at homes within the complex rehabilitation. The second question is focused on the subjective evaluation of service which is provided within the complex rehabilitation. And the last question deals with the employees perception how they perceive physiotherapy in connection with the complex rehabilitation. As it follows from the results, clients have a large choice of activation activities or tools of rehabilitation and that clients are satisfied at their homes. According to the opinion of respondents and employees, physiotherapy is very important in comparison to other activation activities or tools of rehabilitation, like group and individual exercise, which are the most popular. Another participation of clients in activation activities depends on current interest of taking part in activation.
Application for Team Collaboration

This thesis deals with solving the problems of simplification of team collaboration, which relates to the communication among the team members and project planning, tasks and possible events, which are related to the projects. Based on a research and personal experience, a web application was designed, whose main advantages was simplicity in use, integration of already existing and frequently used applications and making the team communication easier. The first part of the thesis describes a design of the web application, the second part includes implementation and testing details.
Teamwork at psychosomatic clinics in Bavaria: an inspiration to develop management in psychosomatic medicine in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the organization of interdisciplinary teamwork in the field of psychosomatic medicine at specialized clinics in Bavaria. The main objective is to describe the system of organization and management of local teams and principles that constitute the teamwork in the psychosomatic field. The paper consists of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with team and teamwork defintion, as well as its characteristics in health care and in multidisciplinary (interdisciplinary) teams with regard to the specifics of their management. Multidisciplinary teams and interprofessional cooperation is discussed in relation to the field of psychosomatic medicine. A summary of the current basis of psychosomatic medicine in the context of medical education, legislation and the health care system in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic follows. The system of the field of psychosomatic medicine in Germany is one of the main reasons why the empirical part is focused on the German environment of psychosomatic practice. The results of this thesis bring a model of the teamwork at psychosomatic clinics in Bavaria, which the Czech environment can be inspired by in its concept and can build on the major discovered principles of teamwork.
