Leisure activities and its influence on risk behavior within adolescents

(in English): The topic of the thesis is Leisure time and its influence on risk behavior of adolescents. The aim of the study was to characterize the relation between manners of leisure time spending and risk behavior in adolescent age. The first part is dedicated to a theoretical basis for research. There are definitions of the terms leisure time and its specifics of adolescent, particular attention is paid to leisure activities. Following is characterized the period of adolescence. The conclusion of theoretical part deals with risk behavior, its various forms and factors that affects it. The second part is dedicated to research, which took place on the Semily district. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and researches was prepared a research tool - the questionnaire. By obtained data analyze I was able to fill the objective of the work and thus characterize the relation between manners of leisure time spending and risk behavior in adolescent age. The effect of the regular participation in leisure activities was proofed as one of the protective factors in risk behavior. Evaluation of leaflet campaign about internet-based prevention targeted on parents of elementary schools students in Prague 15 city district

My bachelor's work engages in finding out the level of interest of parents of elemntary school childern in the Prague 15 city district about internet-based prevention. This web contained program Prevention Smart Parents which incuded 10 chapters with infromation about prevention and how to applicate this information in daily life. In the theoretic part I clarify terms which are connected with the name of the work mainly therms like primary prevention, risk behaviour and evaluation. This part contains also information about prevention in schools, prevention in families and preventive programs for parents. The main goal of whole work was to find the effectiveness of whole campaign which was realized at schools in Prague 15 city district. The secondary goal was to find the level of interest of parents in preventive website. The research was made thanks to questionnaires. As the most important result of whole work I consider detection of effectiveness of campaign. This effectiveness was very low- according to answers in questionnaires only 17 % of parents visited the website. And according to counter on website it was only 5 %. Next important results are the level of interest in website and satisfaction of parents with it. The level of the interest was below-average. But parents who visited the website...
Risky behavior on the internet with a focus on social networks

Bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of risky behavior on the internet with a focus on social networks. The aim of the thesis is to present the risks that children and adolescents are exposed to in today's time. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis describes social networks, explains the basic risks of the online world and focuses on prevention in this area. In the practical part, a quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey is conducted with a goal of finding out if education, primarily from parents or school, has a positive impact on the prevention of problematic online behavior.
The methodology specialist's role of prevention and his self-education

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the school prevention methodologist and his/her further training possibilities. The theoretical part is divided into five large chapters. The first chapter deals with the school environment. The second chapter deals with introduces us to types of risky cho- behavior. The third chapter deals with prevention. The fourth chapter focuses on the counselling department of primary schools and the last one on the prevention method itself and the topics related to it. In the practical part I try to present the work of the school prevention methodologist and compare how practice coincides with theory. For the purpose of this investigation, I obtained eight interviews with school prevention methodologists to determine their expertise, support and cooperation, and opportunities for further training.
Opportunities to support parental competences for underaged mothers

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of supporting parental competences for underage mothers. It introduces the period of adolescence in girls, the issues of early pregnancy and early motherhood, and together with the practical part, it deals with the importance of parental competences and their strengthening in the context of social work. The aim of the final thesis is to describe the difficult situation of girls who became mothers at a minor age, and further to find out and describe whether, to what extent and in what way the parental competences of minor mothers were or are being supported in the home environment. To achieve the results, a qualitative research strategy was chosen using a semi- structured interview that was conducted with five minor mothers. The conducted investigation points out that the interviewed girls who decided to raise their child at home were not offered or provided any support for parental competences by experts. Due to the seriousness and complexity of the situation of early motherhood, the results of the survey should lead to some reflection on the involvement of helping professions and to further research and finding out how to make the difficult life situation easier for underage mothers.
Transformation of addictive behavior in selected illegal drug users due to the COV-19 pandemic

The diploma thesis was created with the aim of mapping the effect of the cov-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown on the use of illegal substances among selected respondents. It was possible to compare the situation in detail with the pre-Covid period, because the respondents had already collaborated in the previous bachelor's thesis. It is a qualitative research in which thematic analysis is applied as a research method. The theoretical part of the thesis elaborates addiction and addictive behavior, the developmental point of view, relevant theories of pathological behavior in the context of drug addiction, the development of the cov-19 pandemic and drug policy in the Czech Republic, and the treatment and cessation of addiction. The research of the practical part is based on the statements of 10 participants of a semi-structured interview. The individual parts consist of a medallion of the respondents (information about the respondents from the previous bachelor's thesis), general information, the impact of the cov-19 pandemic on employment and education, partner and family relationships during the pandemic, free time and interests of the participants, addictive substances in the context of the cov-19 pandemic 19 and mental state during the cov-19 pandemic. Teaching Sex Education in Selected Czech Schools from the Perspective of Pupils and Their Teachers

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sex education in the context of school education. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a general view into the teaching of sex education with an emphasis on the prevention of risky behaviour of adolescents. The main aim of the thesis was to map the teaching of sex education in two selected schools. The research methods of data collection were two - a questionnaire survey designed for the selected students (101 respondents) and an interview for the teachers who teach sex education at the selected schools (two teachers). The results of the survey reflect the respondents' experiences of teaching sex education in these schools, their personal views and suggestions, which were used to develop recommendations for practice. In both selected schools, the teaching of sex education is included only towards the end of compulsory schooling. At the selected primary school, its topics are taught in the subject of science, at the selected secondary school in the subject of "civic education". 85.7 % of the respondents of the selected primary school stated that they were divided into groups according to gender during sex education, while 84.4 % of the respondents of the selected secondary school stated that they were not divided. The cicrumstances leading to a childs placement into a specific children's school and possibilities of prevention of their risky behavior

The diploma thesis deals with the circumstances leading to the placement of children in a specific children's home with a school and the possibilities of preventing their risky behavior. The theoretical part presents an insight into risky behavior and institutional education. The practical part presents an analysis of the written documentation and life stories of the selected participants in order to determine the circumsances leading to their placement in a selected specific facility. It also presents the possibilities of education and prevention of risky behavior of individuals placed in this facility based on interview with pedagogical staff. The aim of the thesis is to present a comprehensive picture of the issues of institucional education related to a specific children's home with a school. The investigation concludes by finding that the circumstances for placement are consistent for each participant, as revealed by both the interview and documentation analysis. The fundamental difficulty stems from the family, i.e. inadequate social conditions, often dysfuncional family environment.
