The project addresses the design of student housing for two hundred students, design the canteen with the issuance of 800 lunches per day. The proposal must also provide adequate capacity for underground parking spaces. The building is situated on the corner plot between the streets of Vídeňská and Táborského nábřeží. It is designed as a tri-wing design with an internal atrium, open towards the waterfront. Atrium is meant as the main venue for meeting and communicating accommodated students. The building has two floors underground and seven above-ground floors.

The object of metropolitan significance on the street Benesova Brno

With regard to the surrounding buildings there is designed a seven-floor terraced metropolitan object, within one floor is in the underground. A new metropolitan centre with conference halls, also possible to use for lectures, city balls or social evenings. Within the obejct, there is turistical information centre with permanent exposition of Brno, Moravia, too. There is also a gallery, snack bar, café, outlook from the highest floor and complementary areas. A big park connects to the building.

Proposal of Communication System in Company

Master´s thesis analyses modern methods of communication in company management. The objective is to discover out the crucial defects of this issue and to outline possible solutions which would improve the weaknesses – of internal communication. The master´s thesis consists of three parts: The theoretical part is concerned about communicational instruments which have been used by the operational company ČEPRO, a.s. The analytical part describes implementation of communicational instruments in the company. (external communication, internal communication, crisis communication and communication during the new product implementation) The proposal part recommends appropriate elements for efficient communication within the current communication system in the company.

HOUSE ON THE FOOTHILL - TOWN HOUSE IN THE HISTORICAL CENTRE

Potential sites lies not only in its location but also the dominant position it holds to their surroundings. Undeveloped plot represents a "node" or "island" ... loosening strictly linear character Bakery. It is a place which brings together three disparate streams - Classical serious at the running part of Mendel Square, dramatically quarreling upper section flowing into the area from Hus class and insignificant Anenská that, if there "just got lost." All "three" street, however, are closely connected with the plot and the transformation of space clearly indicates their transformation. A distinctive feature of the property is its visual exposure of looking from Mendel Square, the plot creates a "picture" to which the pawn closer. This image should be interesting, changing to attract one's attention for more than just one or two seconds. The image should not least communicate - what is happening on the ground, what links are individual objects ... a landmark and should, for use by infantrymen use. It should also not be attractive from a distance - when one zooms in close proximity, should be surprised by the discovery of something new, something that was not noticeable from a distance, it should be attention to detail, or idea that can be seen only at close contact.

Importance of Non-verbal Communication in the Company

This thesis is dedicated to the importance of non-verbal communication in the company. Non-verbal communication is used constantly and usually unconsciously. This type of communication is affected by these factors: culture, age, gender and character. The work focuses on all fields of non-verbal communication and analyzes what is essential for a job interview, meeting or meeting with client. This work determines the type of corporate culture and finds out what impression the company employees give to the clients. Mistakes which employees make during the communication in the company are mentioned. The main aim of this thesis is to assess how the manager use their communication skills and describe the communication process between empolyeeses. The research is carried out by means of a questionnaire, observation and interview with the personnel manager.

The Meeting of Czech and American Cultures in Managerial Practices

The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive picture of Czech and American cultures, not only in their interaction. This picture will be the basis for learning and understanding of both cultures and their mutual differences. A detection of cultural specificities, their clarification and explanation of their causes is a fundamental concern of this thesis. The main issue of the research is to uncover cultural differences and related cultural clashes. The second aim of the diploma thesis is building a list of potential cultural clashes and final recommendations for the Czechs to know how to prevent these conflicts.

Managerial Communication In a Selected Institution

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate managerial communication in the selected organization and suggest changes to improve the current situation. Creation of literature review of the examined issue was based on studies of available information through professional literary works and Internet sources. The main form of questioning - the unstructured interview was chosen for obtaining key information concerning the distribution of managerial communication to external and internal. The conclusions drawn from the analysis will be communicated to the organization.

INFLUENCE OF MELTING TEMPERATURE AND TIME ON THE OXYGEN CONTENT IN TiAlNb ALLOYS

The present study investigates a cost-effective melting of TiAlNb intermetallics in a stable yttrium oxide refractory. We identify mechanisms that mainly contribute to the oxygen pick-up during melting. Systematic microstructural and chemical analysis provided evidence that erosion and dissolution of crucible wall are key factors of the process. Experiments were performed using two Ti46Al7Nb alloys with a different initial content of oxygen. The alloys were re-melted in vacuum induction furnace inside U-shaped yttria crucibles. The experiments involved three different temperatures in combination with melting times spanning from 300 to 1800 s. The oxygen content of re-melted and solidified alloys was assessed by means of inert gas fusion technique. Results of the chemical analysis provided clear evidence that the stability of the refractory wall in contact with the molten alloy and its rate of dissolution depend mainly on melting temperature. These results are further supported by microstructural observations that confirmed ever growing content of ceramic phases in the solidified intermetallic with increasing temperature of the melt. The work also contributed to the improved experimental methodology, in particular to temperature measurements of reactive melts.
