Evaluation of the Financial Situation in a Company

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the financial situation of Rosso steel, a.s. in the years 2017 to 2021 and proposals for its improvement. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts that serve as a basis for the practical part. The practical part shows the analysis of the current state of the company, comparison of values with competitors and subsequent proposals for improving this situation. Data from the company's financial statements were used to prepare the financial analysis.
Financial analysis of a business focused on providing services

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of Vodafone Czech Republic a.s., which is part of the international telecommunications group Vodafone Group. The theoretical part of the thesis covers the statements required for financial analysis, principles of financial analysis, specifics of service provision and possibilities of eliminating inefficiencies The aim of the thesis is to perform a financial analysis of a selected company providing services, to evaluate the financial situation of the company and to assess the main sources of inefficiency in relation to the focus of the company. Vertical, horizontal and ratio analysis along with other specific methods such as Ohlson, Altman model and pyramid decomposition are used to assess the financial health of Vodafone. The results of the analysis lead to the identification of weaknesses and an important part of the analysis is the comparison of the company's financial position against its competitors, which allows for a better understanding and assessment of its market position.
Funding of a Registered Association

This thesis deals with the financial comprehensive analysis of a non-profit organization operating in the field of education. The methods used in this thesis are observation, comparison, analysis and synthesis. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the history of associations, financing options for non-profit organizations, the role of the fundraiser and multi-sourcing as a fundamental rule in the economic management of a registered association. The practical part then applies the findings from the theory and describes a selected non-profit organization and compares funding in the private and public education sector. For this, data provided by the selected organization and data available from public registers are used. The bachelor's thesis attempts to provide guidance on whether a nonprofit organization should choose to continue down the path of public funding or instead go down the path of private education.
Financial health of the agricultural enterprise

This thesis deals with the topic of financial health of an agricultural company. The literature review describes financial analysis as a tool for its assessment. Furthermore, it introduces the sources, users, and basic methods of financial analysis, including absolute indicators, differential indicators, ratio indicators, and notably specific methods such as creditworthiness and bankruptcy models. In the analytical part, a financial analysis of the key indicators of the selected agricultural company is conducted. Subsequently, the results of the financial analysis are utilized in predictive models, the outcomes of which, based on comparisons with industry averages, lead us to the answer regarding the financial health of the enterprise.
Analysis of fixed assets

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of fixed assets, which is a key area of business activity, as it affects the long-term financial stability and overall performance of the company. The first part of this work deals with the characteristics of fixed assets within the framework of Czech legislation and methods of amortization. Furthermore, a different view of fixed assets is presented, according to international accounting standards IFRS. In the practical part, different methods of accounting depreciation are applied to the selected business entity, where a comparison is also made of the different burden of costs when using them. This difference is also analysed within selected financial ratio indicators and compared with the previous values. At the end of this work, based on the knowledge gained from the analysis of depreciation methods and the financial analysis of ratio indicators, the current situation of the selected business entity is evaluated. Recommendations are also provided, which could be used by selected business entities to form strategies regarding the management of fixed assets and to achieve long-term financial health.
Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The thesis is focused on the analysis of economic indicators of Brno Transport Company, Inc. using statistical methods. The issue of time series, regression analysis and selected economic indicators is illustrated in the theoretical part. In the practical part the indicators will be analyzed using time series and regression analysis associated with their predictions for the future. The last part contains recommendations for possible determination of strategies and business objectives.

This thesis deals with the investment project. The subject of the investment project is the construction of a new production hall and the purchase of new manufacturing technologies. The thesis focuses on the characteristics of each part of the feasibility study and detailed analysis of several parts. The thesis also deals with assessing the economic efficiency of the investment by calculating economic indicators. These indicators evaluate the investment plan as suitable or unsuitable for implementation. On the calculation of economic indicators continues probabilistic analysis. The probabilistic analysis is important to determine the level of risk in advance to facilitate investment decisions.

My diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the current situation, and subsequently, the appropriate marketing strategy for Hotel Bítov in the vicinity of Vranov dam. The theoretical parts deals with the isme of using marketing tools in the field of hotel services. The practical parts consists of the inner and outer analysis of the hotel surroundings. The results are summed up in the scope of a SWOT analysis from which the final marketing strategy follows.

The aim of the present Bachelor’s Thesis is to recommend measures for improvement of the existing financial situation with the help of the overall financial analysis of the firm “Stavebniny Libor Smejkal” dealing with the sale and purchase of building materials. The Dissertation provides for also an assessment of the existing economic condition, including proposals for solution of any deficiencies identified. The Bachelor’s Thesis is divided into three parts, namely the theoretical, analytical and design parts. The theoretical part describes the actual importance of the financial analysis and methodological procedures for elaboration of such an analysis. The analytical part of the Bachelor’s Thesis will include a brief presentation of the company, and besides this the actual financial analysis is carried out on the basis of theoretical knowledge. The last design part will specify various proposals of possibilities for improvement of the economic situation of the company, drawn up on the basis of results originating from the analytical part. The analysis of the company will be drawn up for the period of the years 2010-2014.
