Comparison of traditional aeronautical precise approach navigation systems efficiencies with that of the LADGPS
Válek, David ; Sklenář, Filip (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
This work deals with the possibilities of using technologies and means of satellite navigation in civil air transport, focusing on the precise instrument approach of transport aircraft. The work describes traditional systems for guiding aircraft in the final phase of flight, their characteristics, principles of operation, advantages and disadvantages. Similarly, satellite navigation technology and its subsystems are described, which contribute to improving the accuracy and safety of these guidance devices. By analysing the characteristics and efficiency of all devices, a conclusion has been reached that the guidance technology could take hold in the future.
Technical Requirements for civil/military Aerodromes Air Operations
Kružlicová, Alžbeta ; Vosecký, Slavomír (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with the description of equipment for civil/military Aerodromes Air Operations. The first, theoretical part presents an overview of all legislative requirements for infrastructure, equipment and operation of airports. In the second, practical part, there are two real systems of operation for civil/military Aerodromes Air Operations - one of the Slovak Republic and one of the Czech Republic.
Reinforced concrete slab supported on columns
Hlavička, Martin ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Požár, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the practical design and assessment of monolitic, reinforced-concrete flat slab. We focus on particular sections of the object, which are then characterized by moment coefficient method and finite element method using SCIA Engineer 19.1 software. Both ultimate limit state and service limit state are evaluated as well. After that we also focused on foundation (pile head plates), selected columns both outside and at the edges of the object, and staircase. The final ouput of this work is data accompanying report, static calculation and technical drawings of the object.
The differences in evaluation of the landing technique aimed at the traceurs and the artistic gymnasts
Tecl, Vojtěch ; Chrudimský, Jan (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: The differences in evaluation of the landing technique aimed at the traceurs and the artistic gymnasts. Objectives: The work is focused on the qualities of realized landing of the artistic gymnasts compared to the traceurs. Methods: Based on the expert evaluation of the data we had obtained during the measurement we used the basic statistical methods and LESS (Landing Error Scoring System) methodology to examine landing differences of both groups. Results: We found out that the landing technique of the artistic gymnasts was different from the traceurs. The results of the Mann Whitney test show that the differences in assessment of the landing technique are statistically significant at the level α = 0.05 (p = 0,04). According to the evaluation based on LESS methodology we can say that the artistic gymnasts have achieved better results. The results they have got reflect development, content and above all emphasis on the landing technique and its important part in the competitions. Keywords: landing, parkour, artistic gymnastics, technique, acrobatic preparation
History of Civil Aviation 1970-2000
Zubrvalčík, Jan ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is utilize consice summary of history of civil aviation between year 1970 to 2000 and compare their performance. This era is typical with out-set of airplanes with large capacity and new construction solutions. This thesis is focused on planes for long distance with large capacity, but also on planes for middle and short distances too. Thesis is divided by range of airplanes and special charter is about supersonic civil planes.
Reduction in the pilot’s stress during the landing maneuver by providing accurate height information
Šplíchal, Miroslav
The article is focused on pilot stress reduction during landing by providing accurate height information. It is based on the results of the completed project TA04030510 – Assistance systems supporting the pilot’s right decisions increasing the safety of operating small civil aircraft. The landing is the most critical phase of a flight. Accidents occurring during approach and landing phases generally represent up to 40 % of all aircraft accidents. A frequent cause of these accidents is a pilot error. During project development, 112 accidents of ultralight aircraft and 152 accidents of small GA aircraft that happened from 2005 to 2015 were analyzed. In total, 48 aircraft landing-related accidents and 22 accidents in ultralight aircraft were found. Landing accidents represent 26.5% of all investigated accidents.
High-lift system of the competition model aircraft
Vrba, Martin ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Koutník, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on compiling a summary of lift mechanization, at both the leading and the trailing edges used on plane models and unmanned means of transport. It briefly explains their principles and functions. It describes the method of calculation of the flight mode design of the competing aircraft according to the specifications of the Air Cargo Challenge competition.
Radar Altimeter for Ultralight Aircraft
Zahradník, Jiří ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis author designs a radar altimeter. In this thesis the emphasis is placed onto modular architecture and that is why this altimeter is designed as a group of independent modules communicating through BSD sockets. Software implementation is made in C++ and for sound generator is used library PulseAudio. Next topic is multithreading safety implementation of queue and stack which was made by template class to keep simplicity and generality.
Controlled Landing of an Autonomous Drone
Hraško, Andrej ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Obdržálek, David (referee)
The goal of this work is to develop and implement a desing for the most appropriate method allowing autonomous landing of the quadrocopter on a heliport with a visible pattern. This work includes an analysis dedicated to finding the best pattern for the designated landing area and the most reliable way to identify this pattern in an image taken from the camera of quadrocopter. The work explains the different ways of controlling devices as dynamic systems and implements algorithms for navigation of the quadrocopter to the target. The achieved results are verified by documented experiments. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Strength design of the aircraft spur
Profota, Martin ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with computational stress-strain analysis of the tailskid of airplane L410 NG with main focus firstly the check current design of the tailskid and then the design another design solution with the able to absorb as much as possible the deformation energy. Solution of this problem is performed using computational modeling utilizing numerical simulation of quasi-static and crash deformation load of the tailskid with using explicit Finite Element Method (FEM) in program ABAQUS v6.14. After the introduction with problem situation and tailskid assembly introductory part is devoted to the research study of various designs of the tailskid for different types of airplanes. There follows these theoretical general principles of thin-walled structures and buckling of them. Before the creating of the computational model itself, the explicit form of the Finite Element Method is better described. The conclusion of this thesis deals with the mutual comparison of the most advantageous design variants of the tailskid and the selection of the most suitable one of them for the airplane L410 NG.
