The intervention in Occupational Therapy for children with perception disorder of body schema

This thesis deals with process of body scheme, its disorders in childhood and the possibility of influencing, mainly due to the sensory integration. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a synoptic manual on processing of body scheme from the perinatal period when the creating of body scheme is an indispensable component, to neonatal, infant and toddler age, when the possibilities of influencing the disorders are the most effective and provide good results. The thesis is divided into two parts; one is theoretical and the other practical. The theoretical part describes the commonly used terms relating to the body and body perception, perception development, specific diagnoses, where the body image disorder is present, methods of evaluation and therapy. The practical part describes two case studies of preschool children diagnosed with dyspraxia, in which the body scheme disorder is analyzed. For practical knowledge there is an importance of proper physiological perception and negative impacts of disturbances on motor skills in all areas. The utilize facilities of individual education plan by children with specific learning difficulties

The topic of the thesis are the special educational needs of pupils with specific learning difficulties. The aim of this paper is to explore the awareness of parents about the possibility of using individual educational plan for the education of children with learning disabilities and support the role of parents in educational process. The theoretical base of the thesis discusses the concept of specific learning disorders, their etiology, classification, diagnosis. It also defines individual education plan, describes the basic principles on which this plan is based on. The practical part includes quantitative research questionnaire method that detects the condition of awareness of parents on this issue, a description of the data and their subsequent evaluation. Possibilities of partial functions development in the first class of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with pupils' possibilities of partial functions development in the first class of elementary school. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and it introduces the definitions in the field of specific dysfunctions of learning. It also deals with a possible diagnostics of the specific dysfunctions. The thesis describes crucial partial functions in the relation to school skills acquirement and it presents the partial function theory as one of the causes in difficulties in reading and writing acquirement. The practical part analyses the results of the diagnostics which was realized in the first grade at elementary school. This diagnostics was aimed to chosen partial functions and the results were taken before and after the exercises aimed to partial functions development.
Assessment of motor activity in children with autism by inertial sensors - Method of measurement and its utilization in diagnostic

Autism belongs to developmental pervasive disorders. Primary symptoms of autism include failure in communication, social interaction and imagination. Other symptoms are abnormalities in physical activity manifested by delays in motor development, stereotyped movements, postural instability, impaired in imitation and dyspraxia. These symptoms already come up in the first years of life. The first diagnosis of autism used to be made between 2nd and 3rd year of life, however if the diagnosis could be based on physical symptoms, it would be possible to establish the diagnosis earlier. The work presents a method of measurement by inertial sensors that could be used to assess physical activity of autistic children.
Interaciton between speech and motion of a schoolgirl with developmental dysphasia

Final work "Interaction between speech and motion of a schoolgirl with developmental dysphasia" is focusing on finding in which way are speech and movement skill interacting specifically in the case of a school-girl with serious developmental dysphasia. In its theoretical part I'm focusing at first on the term disturbed communication ability, development dysphasia, its symptomatology and then at the term verbal development dyspraxia. Important information concerning this dilemma are also listed in second chapter which focuses on the problem of reading, process of mastering of reading and writing with understanding. The third chapter of the theoretical part is focusing on characteristics of terms as movement, motoric acts, coordination and also dyspraxia. I based the practical part on testing of children of the third grade at usual basic school as well as at the basic logopaedia school, which is attended also by the school-girl with serious development dysphasia I've been observing and monitoring. I created two different tests. First about reading with understanding and then second one about movement abilities. Their goal was to find in which way are reading and movement abilities interacting. In the end of my work I'm summarizing all the gathered findings, I'm also comparing results of testing...

The thesis deals with the problems of teachers teaching students with specific learning disabilities. In the theoretical part the terms dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysortografie, dyscalculia, dyspraxia and laterality are described. These definitions are derived from professional publications. The paper uses methods of analysis, synthesis and comparison. Practical part of the thesis presents the analysis and results of a questionnaire survey focus on awareness of teachers about specific learning disabilities and their willingness to help disadvantaged students. The aim is to create recommendation for special training teachers how to work with students and how to help them in their education.

In my bachelor's thesis I am writing about students with dyslexia which studying Veterinary prevention at vocational school health and economic and high school in Boskovice. I examined how students with and without this defect understand dyslexia like a handicap when they studying professional practice and what they have information about issues specific learning. In the theoretical part I focused on professional sources, which are occupied with dislexia and other specific learning disability and diagnosis of specific learning disabilities further reeducation and kompensation dyslexia and institutions to help individual with specific learning disability. In this part of bachelor's thesis is analysis, synthesis and comparison of ideas and finding experts. In the practical part I was writing about number of students on Veterinary prevention which sufferers or not sufferers of disabilities. I was find out how this disabilities affect students in theirs studium. In practical part I used quantitative research and I used questionnaire technique for questioning. I gave questionnaires in all clases in Veterinary prevention at vocational school health and economic and high school in Boskovice. Identified data is provided for this school and they are evaluated by descriptive statistics. My objective in the theoretical part was study and acquaint with latest findings in professional publications which is to focus to this issue. I also wanted to demarcate and define specific learning disabilities. My objective in the practical part was questionnaire survey which I was to make and I evaluated this. I did questionnaire survey in students Veterinary prevention.
Musicotherapy from the perspective of learning and behavioral disorders

The goal of my diploma thesis is introduce one of alternative direction {--} music therapy, to outline the sphere of specific learning and behavior disorders, and also to give a guide, how to apply components of music therapy during the work with children with these disorders. The thesis consists of two parts {--} a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on defining key terms, such as music therapy, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysortographia, dyscalculia, dyspinxia, dysmusia, dyspraxia. In my work I aim to clarify the question of ADHD and try to point out the relation of particular learning and behavior disorders. The practical part includes twenty activities that were made firstly according to a methodical manual written by M. Beníčková and Z. Vilímek, who use the Czech method of music therapy {--} Music of body, and secondly on the base of casuistry of two boys attending special practical school. Each activitiy should develop particular skills, comprises tools, motivation, its own description and analysis coming out of a practical accomplishment. The method of observing was used for the evaluation.
On the Minimization of Specific Learning Problems in Elementary School Students

This study addresses the problems of specific learning disorders in elementary school children. It attempts to elucidate individual types of disorders and their most common symptoms in children. Furthermore, the work describes well known theories of the causes of specific learning disorders, their diagnostics, and primary ways leading towards minimization and correction of disorders. The whole study is divided into four chapters. Individual chapters are based on the best known knowledge in the area of specific learning disorders. The first chapter explores the causes of disorders, i.e. the theories attempting to explain specific learning disorders from the viewpoints of genetics, brain disorders, faulty information processing, light mental dysfunctions and last but not least {--} the environmental effects. The next chapter classifies and explains individual diagnostic procedures and tests needed before establishing child{\crq}s diagnosis. The third chapter addresses individual specific learning disorders. It describes their definitions and main symptoms The last chapter is devoted to disorders minimization. There we introduce Individual Educational Plan as well as the exercises appropriate to individual disorders.
