Debts of citizens and their consequences

This thesis is concerned how people can handle with their finances with a focus on the use of credit products, debts and the potential impact of debts. Consequences of default are efforts of creditors to get money back, whether through specialized companies or judicial executor. The thesis deals with enforcement proceedings and then with insolvency proceedings. So what are possible solutions of debtor's situation if debtor is unable to pay his obligations. Bankruptcy and debt relief is described. There is also a survey that examines people's attitudes to manage their money, to advertisement for credits, whether people borrow money and have repayment problems. In conclusion there is recommendation how to repay your debts, how to deal with debt responsibility, and there is also a very discussed topic about financial literacy.
Financial Literacy and its Support for the Mostecko

This thesis aims to capture the notion of "Financial iliteracy" as a phenomenon of the present in the context of the Czech Republic, or of the region with the highest unemployment and specific problems - the Most region. The introductory part defines basic concepts connected with financial iliteracy, its education support in the Czech Republic and the measurement possibilities. The next part concentrates on the Most region, on the concrete examples of financial iliteracy support on this location and it is followed by a survey. The conclusion will look at the evaluation of results gained by the survey and recommendations for financial iliteracy support optimization.
Fraud prevention in the system of payments

The work deals with fraud perpetrated on non-cash payments. There is characterized the most common forms of non-cash payment fraud. It deals with the prevention of fraud in three main areas: financial literacy and education, law and institutions. It is a comparison of the effectiveness of these areas of prevention of fraud perpetrated on the territory of the Czech Republic and the EU for a certain period. There is also explained exactly how to prevent fraud.

Subject of this thesis is to implement the Partners, Inc. to financial market and to evaluate marketing strategy for Jindřichův Hradec area. In the theoretical part is described sphere of services, marketing process and its project parts. In the practical part is made situation analysis by using PEST and SWOT analysis and Porter's five forces analysis. Thesis is about segmentation of market and choosing one target segment. In conclusion is described marketing mix of the Partners company and there are proposed recommendations in promotion for Jindřichův Hradec area and solutions how to effectively reach and adress Jindřichův Hradec area.
The analysis of annual percentage rate of charge in consumer lending

The thesis deals with rising household debt, especially in consumer lending. The main part of the thesis is the analysis of obligatorily quoted annual percentage rate of charge. Further contains debt statistics, previous and new law and improvement proposals for the future.
Poverty and overdebtedness of Czech households

The diploma work deals with the problem of poverty following from overdebtedness of Czech households. Poverty is defined as a strong social handicap leading up to a social exclusion. Overdebtedness means such a financial situation when households are not able to fulfill their financial obligations and thus it concerns especially households with low incomes. In the Czech Republic this fact has been distinguished since the year 2000. The topic of the diploma work points at the development of overdebtedness of Czech households and its evaluation, the size of this problem and the estimation of its further development. It analyses the threat to households leading to a debt trap. It deals with economic impact of state debtedness in connection with that of Czech households. Some attention is paid to the increasing unemployment as one of the strongest causes leading to a state of poverty and consequently to undesirable debtedness showing the evident link between unemployment and overdebtedness. At the same time, the emphasis is put onto individual responsibility and lifelong education as the prevention and solution to unemployment and doubtedness. The phenomenon of overdebtedness of Czech households is understood as a warning signal of the present.
Consumer protection in Insurance sector

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to focus on the protection consumers in insurance sector. The thesis gives us an approximation on development and attitude to protection of consumers in accordance with the development of conditions for the function of insurance in market economy after year 1989. Subsequently, the thesis focuses on the research of legislative conditions, the charge of market control and the special level of financial agents. Eventually, at last but not at least the thesis focuses on financial literacy of consumer himself. The theme of the proper research is an evaluation of the proposal transparency's field. Particularly, this research contains products of investment capital insurance, here is shown proficiency of financial consultants, given information and stumbling blocks that are connected with complex solution. Conclusion deals with the interpretation of entire evaluation based on acquired information.
The position of the financial consultancy in the Czech Republic with a view into the future

The aim of this master's thesis is to describe the current situation in financial advisory services in the Czech Republic. It contains an analysis of financial advisory companies on the Czech market. Another goal is to monitor the financial literacy of the Czech population. In the theoretical part it is referred to the difference of working with personal finance among the Western nations and the Czech population. The following describes the reasons why the families of the Western economies get richer faster than the Czech. There are carefully analyzed the financial counseling process and discussed the reasons why the service is beneficial. The practical part is made inquiries about the use of financial advisory services in the Czech Republic and related topics satisfaction. The survey is also aimed at providing current information on the work of people of different ages and social groups with personal finances. The conclusion summarizes all the results and the survey questionnaire.
