HARTMANOVÁ, Lenka
My Bachelor thesis deals with the Public Health Protection study programme. In this Bachelor thesis, I wanted to find out if graduates from the Public Health Protection programme found employment. In addition, my research focused on ascertaining whether study in the Public Health Protection programme has sufficiently prepared graduates for their job and whether their work in public health protection met their expectations. I chose a questionnaire survey for data collection. Respondents included all graduates from the Public Health Protection programme at the Faculty of Health and Social Studies in České Budějovice. The final research sample with which I worked consisted of 51 respondents (100%). I managed to prove the first hypothesis: {\clqq}Graduates from the Public Health Protection programme found employment in their field`` in my research sample. All graduates interested in working in public health protection have found employment. Unfortunately, I did not prove the H2 hypothesis: {\clqq}The study has sufficiently prepared graduates for their career.`` The third hypothesis was: {\clqq}Public health protection work met graduates' expectations``. I asked a question focused directly on this hypothesis {--} did public health protection work meet your expectations. 50 % of respondents answered yes and the remaining 50 % of respondents said rather yes. Based on these results, I can say that the hypothesis was proved. I tried to find out graduates' opinions on the programme and feelings the study of Public Health Protection left in respondents.
