Torsional stiffness of Formula Student frame
Jurnečka, Ladislav ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with detection of torsional stiffness with using photogrammetric equipment TRITOP device and subsequent comparison with created computational model in FEM software. Measurement and calculations were accomplished according to tutorials, which are the most effective and giving the most accurate results. Next the optional method of measurement of torsional stiffness in practice is formed for future formula series called Dragon. The reasons of different results and suggestion of optimalization are sum up in the end of the thesis.
Measurement of the suspension flexibility
Suchý, Jan ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the method of determining the position of the wheel using photogrammetric equipment Tritop. Verification of the method is performed by measuring of the Formula Student Dragon II. Measured data are processed by algorithm for calculating compiled in Matlab software. The final section describes a concept the measurement of the suspension flexibility on the UADI device.
Using 3D Scanning for the Preparation of Steam Turbines Cast Parts for Machining
Michalisko, Jan ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Madaj, Martin (advisor)
The technical paper deals with the application of 3D scanning for the preparation of cast machining which is a part of steam turbines manufactured by the Industrial Turbo machinery branch office of the Siemens Ltd. in Brno. There is a theoretic explanation of general terms which relate to the 3D digitization process in the first part. Further in the theoretic part, the used digitization systems TRITOP and ATOS are described in detail. In practical part, the analysis of the current process has been carried out and the alternate process of the cast preparation for a subsequent machining has been suggested. By means of above mentioned systems, the cast has been converted in a digital form and compared with the source CAD module. The comparison results in material allowance check and the suitable setting for a following machining process. In conclusion, the technical economic evaluation of both processes has been carried out.
Design of airframe mold for ultra-light aircraft manufacturing
Zatočilová, Aneta ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with digital data processing during the design of a mould of ultralight airplane airframe. The final digital model meets the demands on manufacturability by using CNC machining. The realization, in compliance with the reverse engineering approach, was conceived in four phases, which had to be solved step by step in order to preserve the continuity of the process. The phases correspond to the main chapters of the practical part of the thesis. The first part is focused on 3D digitalization of airplane fuselage by using an optic scanner ATOS and photogrammetric system Tritop. The result of this part is digital data of fuselage geometry in form of polygon grid. Next part deals with software reconstruction of collected data – by optimizing polygon grid in order to provide suitable base for surface modeling. The third part, the most time demanding, handles the creation of airplane fuselage surface model. Geometry has to satisfy requirements for smoothness and tangential or curvative connection of surfaces, including other requirements resulting from model usage. The final part of the thesis documents the procedure of deriving a mould from the aircraft fuselage geometry.
Automation of optical measuring via TRITOP optical coordinate system
Koutecký, Tomáš ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Volek, Aleš (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to automate photogrammetric measuring system TRITOP. In the literature retrieval part there is a review of digitizing methods and its description. Further it contains a description of the photogrammetric system TRITOP role. The practical part of the thesis deals with methodology of the TRITOP measurement and evaluation process automation. Automation is then verified on a practical example.
Measurement of Vehicle CG Height Position
Fedra, Tomáš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with measurement of vehicle centre of gravity height position. All methods for measurement of CG height position are described in the first part. The second part deals with designing of device for measurement of CG height. This measurement device is analysed by Finite Element Method. The vehicle is tilt by hydraulic system. The third part shows the best tilt angle for minimal error of CG height. At the end, there is described a measuring procedure for designed device.
Vehicle Center of Gravity Measurement
Štěpánek, Tomáš ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis is devoted to problems of measurement centre of gravity position. At the beginning diploma thesis is created summary of methods to measuring moment of inertia and position measuring of centre of gravity of vehicle. Proposal is in-process on the basis method weighing on oblique position. And measurement is possible in Institute of automotive engineering in Brno. Is proposed measuring platform and preparative for obstruct changes of centre of gravity position at measuring. Measuring procedure is described and is derived formula toward calculation position of gravity centre of vehicle. To troubleshooting parts of platform are elaborate solidity calculations. In final parts diploma thesis are mentioned results from these measurements. Drawing documentation of platform and programme for calculation of centre of gravity of vehicle is enclosed in diploma thesis.
Suspension Kinematics Points Measurement with Use of Measurement Device Tritop
Fišer, Radoslav ; Svída, David (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Bc. Radoslav Fišer Suspension kinematics points measurement with use of measurement device Tritop MT, IAE, 2008, sites 58, pictures 45 We compare methods of obtaining input data for sotwares simulating kinematic and dynamic characretistics of vehicle suspension. Digitizing system working with three dimensional coordinates Tritop and Atos is used for measurement. With repeated measuring we investigate accuracy, time hefftines and suitability of methods for car suspension mesurement. Special targest were developed to use with Tritop device measurement.
Measurement of Inertia properties of bodies for the purpose of mathematical modeling of vehicle dynamics
Dvořák, Karel ; Laurinec, Marián (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a concept of methods that can be used for measurement of important mechanical inertia properties of bodies -- the coordinates of center of gravity and the the moment of inertia tensor, in case we don't have 3D model of these bodies. The thesis divides this problem into several sub-problems and suggests the solutions for each of them. Required equipment was created and measurement was carried out. At the end the measured values are compared with the teoretical ones and accuracy of this method is determined.
