Title: Impact evaluation of a anterior cruciate ligament rupture on postural stabilization by a method postural somatooscillography before and after the reconstruction surgery Objective: Compare measured postural stability values by postural somatooscillography which will be carried out before planned ACL reconstruction surgery rupture, early after the surgery and in a longer time period after rehabilitation. Methods: This thesis has been created as a pilot study using a descriptive and associative form. Research part focuses on measurements done on the Posturomed surface during postural provocation test. Platform movement has been recorded by accelerometer and transferred into Microswing diagnostic system and evaluated using the Postural somatooscillography Posturomed Commander application. Results: After reconstruction surgery is the ability of postural stabilization better than before surgery. Postural stabilization has been improving within the group of probands during all measurements. However, the ability of long-term stabilization is at very low level in comparison to healthy subjects. Title: The Effect of Taping on Postural Stability in Patients with Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction on Posturomed Platform after Rehabilitation using Postural Therapy Aim: Objective evaluation of the effects of kinesiotaping and functional taping on postural stabilization during standing on one foot in patients after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction on the defined unstable Posturomed platform. Methods: The thesis is based on analytical-comparative study. The subjects of the study were patients after ACL reconstruction, who have done fifteen rehabilitation sessions which included postural therapy. The patients were subjected to a "3-step stand on one foot" test to standardize measurement. Three kinds of measurement were applied: without taping, kinesiotaping, and rigid-functional taping taped bilaterally above the m. vastus medialis. Results: The measurements on the Posturomed suggest that the ability of postural stabilization differs on each lower limb in patients after an ACL reconstruction. The application of taping had an effect in the majority of cases, although it was a negative effect on postural stabilization in most kinesiotaped measurements compared to un-taped measurements. Case of study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Pacient after the Reconstruction of Ligamentum Cruciatum Anterius

This work consists of two parts, general and special. On the special one was focused more attention. In the general part we can learn basic information about anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of the knee. There is described the mechanism of injury of a soft knee, methods of examination and diagnosis, treatment of LCA rupture with conservative and surgical treatment and rehabilitation before and after a surgery. The special part gives a detailed description of the case of study of a patient after ACL rupture. The study has been made during the continuous professional experience, which I undertook at the end of January and February in the Regional Hospital Kladno.

Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of patient after plastic operation of LCA. Summary: This bachelor thesis consists of two main parts. General and special. General part includes anatomy, biomechanics, kineziology of the knee, biomechanics, injury, physical examination and treatment of the anterior cruciate ligament, further studies on the anterior cruciate ligament grafts, physiotherapy and rehabilitation procedures after the sculpture ligament. The special section includes the case study regarding the physiotherapy treatment of the patient after reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament. Case report was prepared during the continuous professional bachelor's experience in the Regional Hospital in Kladno. Ethics Committee approved the preparation of this case study. The original opinion of the ethics committee and informed consent is part of the attachments. The signed original is kept by author of this thesis.

Physical therapy procedures in patients following the operation of the anterior cruciate ligament

Title: Physical therapy procedures in patients following the operation of the anterior cruciate ligament Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine the influence of the chosen method of reconstruction and subsequent physiotherapy on the final status of the patient. And also if the group physiotherapy is the ideal therapeutic approach. Methods: In quantitative research the numerical analysis of the data was performed. Comparison of individual groups was performed simply through finding the frequency distribution of individual characters. Evaluated were the basic sets A (patients operated on by Bone - Tendon - Bone method, BTB) and B (patients operated on by hamstring graft method, STG). Both sets were assessed using the input and the output kinesiological analysis. The resulting values of the variables in each category (individual examinations in the input and output kinesiological analysis) were compared with each other.The statistical significance of observed differences was tested using the x2 (chi square) test at the significance level of p < 0.05. Results: It was determined that the selected surgical method (BTB and STG) has an effect on certain parameters evaluated in the input rated kinesiological analysis. 6 Abstract Title: Postural stability in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to find out if the postural stability is differed in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury and in the control group after the "4 steps - one leg stance" test had been performed. Methods: This study compared a group with anterior cruciate ligament injury and a control group on the basis of the "4 steps - one leg stance" test. Methods of comparison and analysis were used. Results: The test and all measurements revealed differences in postural stability between subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury and the control group while they were standing both on operated and non-operated limb. Title: Instrumental Gait Analysis in the ACL Patient Aim: to present an up to date review on the topic of instrumental analysis of straight ahead gait on a plain surface (both over-ground and on a treadmill) in ACL patients (both deficient and reconstructed). A second aim is to introduce the clinician (especially in the field of physiotherapy/rehabilitation) to the topic of gait analysis and its specific use for the ACL patient. Methods: a systematic review on the topic Results The review answers the questions of what instrumentation, phases of gait and variables is best to use/measure for clinical purposes. Developmental and traumatic diseases of the knee joint in dog.

Patellar luxation is a condition subject to heredity. It varies in gravity depending on its clinical grade and on the duration of luxation. Patellar luxation may be medial which is more common type and lateral which is less common. Often the only way to sustain a comfort of a dog patient and its normal use of a hind limb is surgical management. Considering a hereditary and congenital aspect of patellar luxation we see that it is an important breeding problem and some measures should be taken to stop its spread in breeds.
The cranial cruciate ligament rupture is mostly traumatic in origin and affects especially large and giant breed dogs although all breeds may be affected. In the lower percentage of cases there is possible a degenerative origin of the disease. There is a higher prevalence of the disease in older and less active dogs. After a diagnosis of a LCC rupture surgical intervention should be implied and performed as soon as possible to put an end to the progress of arthrotic changes and to sustain the patients comfort.
This master thesis was also concerned with original research examining 23 dogs with patellar luxation or LCC rupture, two dogs of these afflicted with both. Hypotheses of the thesis introduction have been mostly confirmed, LCC rupture afflicted especially overweight or obese individuals (56%), predominant affliction of females has been also confirmed (56%), partly also increased affliction of neutered animals (25% females, 6% males). Medial patellar luxation is distinctively more common than lateral one, the hypothesis has been confirmed, medial patellar luxation afflicted 100% of the dogs. Medial patellar luxation affects mostly small and miniature breeds, the hypothesis has been confirmed, all examined dogs were of small or miniature breed (100%).
