Mobile Application Rendering Digital Elevation Models in Real Time
Hejl, Radim ; Tomešek, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with terrain rendering on mobile device in realtime. It focuses on current developement of applications in operating system Android, especially rendering of graphics using OpenGL ES. Based on this information and actual state of existing solutions, there is designed, implemented and tested resulting application, that renders surrounding terrain and navigating in it using sensors of device.
Rubix Cube Demonstration on Mobile Platforms
Liptáková, Daša ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes mobile application, which will be ser. The application is implemented for Android OS. User takes six photos of each side of Rubik's cube. The application will convert them into graphical 3D model and show it to user. After the user confirms the detected configuration, the application will solve it and shows the user how to solve it using graphical steps. Each step will be displayed to the user to follow along.
Graphics Application Development on iPhone and iPad Platform
Fiala, Petr ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
The project deals with the creation of graphical applications for iOS system, describes the basics of OpenGL ES 2.0, development environment Xcode, Cocoa Touch Framework and Objective-C language. It focuses on the description of creation OpenGL game in the genre of "line drawing" games.
Mobile 3D mesh viewer
Pikora, Jindřich ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor) ; Dupej, Ján (referee)
This thesis deals with the development of MorphoView application for An- droid mobile devices. The application can be used for viewing triangular meshes with texture and possibly other attributes. It will be used primarily for data pre- sentation in geometric morphometry (facial scans, palate). During development, emphasis was placed on robustness, ease of use and the possibility of easy future expansion of other data layers. A client-server system has been designed and implemented, in which models are downloaded from the server to the mobile de- vice as needed. Easy distribution of access information uses QR codes, privacy of scanned individuals is sufficiently protected. The author of the thesis developed a complete client part, not a server.
Rendering Performance Comparison in iOS and Metal
Pištělák, Radek ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Tóth, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the comparison of the OpenGL ES and Metal graphical libraries on the iOS platform. To compare the performance of the two libraries, a particle system has been implemented. By profiling it has been determined that using instanced rendering it is currently possible to achieve higher performance using OpenGL ES. Based on the results and the theoretical part of the thesis it is possible to make a more informed decision between the two graphical libraries.
Graphical Interface for Board Games on Android Platform
Káčerik, Martin ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on visual representation of three-dimensional set-up of board game. It describes the possibilities of the visualization of three-dimensional graphics on the Android platform. It deals with principles of advanced rendering methods. The final outcome of the thesis is Android application, which serves as a manager of modules containing implementation of board games. Games are projected using the ray-tracing algorithm.
3D Application For Android Platform
Smejkal, Jakub ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis addresses the implementation of 3D application for platform Android. Application implements simulator of Rubik's cube. Control is implemented using an inertial unit, plus other types of interfaces. To support the user's solving Rubik's cube problem is implemented an artifi cial intelligence.
Augmented Reality for iPhone
Bednář, David ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis was performed during a study stay at the "Technische Universität Graz", Austria. This Thesis talks about handheld augmented reality, especially for the iPhone. In theoretical part of the Thesis, we discuss available frameworks and description of the platform itself and its application development. The practical part describes development of a demonstrational AR application, which uses popular OpenCV computer vision library for processing the image captured by iPhone's camera. The application also permits to overlay visual information above the camera preview (with and without the use of private APIs) and also permits to align OpenGL camera to the position of the iPhone's camera in the real world.
Principles of Creation and Set of Demo Applications Running over AndroidOS
Sztefek, Lukáš ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the basic principles of creating applications for Android operating system. The reader gradually gets familiar with the basic building elements of applications, including the creation of a graphical user interface. A great emphasis is placed on the description of sensors interface, which precedes chapter describing implementation of several applications. These applications use sensors for their activity. This thesis gives a basic understanding of developing applications for Android OS.
Augmented Reality for Mobile Devices for Local Visual Navigation for Android
Bezděk, Dušan ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a proposal and implementation of application, that uses augmented reality and serves as a navigation for smartphones with the operating system Android. The navigation uses augmented reality for viewing virtual path into the canvas of the real world. This path is heading to the target destination. Map datas are provided by Google directions API and the location of device is fixed by GPS. This thesis describes a proposal and the realization of the application and writes about the solution of important problems in its implementation. The end of the thesis mentions the testing process and the final chapter evaluates the final results.
