Reducing the energy demand of a family house
Ondrák, Adam ; Kudela, Libor (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of reducing the energy intensity of a family house and it approaches this issue in three steps. Firstly, the examination of the heat loss of the whole building, using the standard ČSN EN 12 831 and thermal vision. Subsequently, this is followed by the choice of the most economically suitable solution, so that the most modern technologies for reducing heat losses can be utilized and the project repays as quickly as possible. Furthermore, we will find the most suitable variant of a photovoltaic power plant, with regard to different types of photovoltaic panels. In conclusion, the price of the entire project and its repay and then other measures, that could be used to reduce project costs or the acquisition of additional equipment to reduce energy consumption, are listed.

Buildings groud floor is an irregular shape with dimensions 17,35 by 15,85 meters. Foundations are made from plain concrete. Vertical supporting structures are made from Porotherm blocks. Ceiling is made from reinforced concrete girders with Porotherm ceiling blocks. The object has a gable roof which consists of wooden trusses and over the wine shop and the garage is an aisle roof. The ceiling is made from gypsum plaster panels with thermal insulation fixed into the roof trusses. This thesis contains study works, project documentation plans and reports, heat engineering calculations, fire safety report and semester project which consists of 5 detailed drownings.
The block of flats
Müller, Otto ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
ABSTRACT The subject of the Bachelor´s thesis is processing of project documentation for implementation of a new apartment building in Ostrava, which is set in the locality of housing estate built in the previous regime. The apartment building has four floors, basement and longitudinal support system. Object is placed perpendicular to the slope. In the apartment house are eight flats, on already mentioned for floors and in the basement are technical rooms and cellars for every flat. Shape and appearance of object are solved in a simple way to fit into locality of apartment buildings. Construction will be implemented from sharped brick blocks in combination with ceramic-concrete ceilings on concrete foundations. The new building will be insulated by thermal insulation system ETICS from mineral wool. Facade color will be in shades of grey. Roof will be flat and single skin.
The impact of executing new thermal insulation on an administrative building on the expenses associated with its operation

Assessment of investment in heating house
Adam, Jakub ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This Bachelor’s Thesis is engaged in an assessment of investments into a family house heating system. The first part describes a model house chosen for this work. Further, it states a method of the calculation of the peripheral wall and void filling heat loss. The values are then used to determine the heat output. The work recommends the use of different insulation materials and options for void filling replacement to comply with the requirements for obtaining a grant. According to the calculated heat output, it suggests a choice of more effective and ecological sources for heating, which could replace the current source. In the conclusion of this work, the results are graphically processed and evaluated according to the estimated return of investments within several years.
