Cost Management System in the Company

The master´s thesis deals with the issue of cost management using the structure of budgets in a selected manufacturing company. The theoretical part contains and summarizes the views on corporate costs, then it discusses budgeting, and also illuminates the issue of in-house departments. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the current situation, where the current cost management system in the enterprise is summarized, the current approaches to budgeting and, in particular, the problematic areas of the current solution are revealed, which are then taken into account in the design part when creating a comprehensive enterprise budget structure.

Action stage design In Czechoslovakia, Prague 2012

"Action stage design" is a term which was originally used in the mid-70s in the connection with 1975 Prague Quadrennial. Soviet critic Viktor Berjozkin chose this term to describe a new approach which was apparent in the majority of national expositions. It was an alternative approach to dramatic space, the traditional proscenium theater was systematically abandoned. New possibilities of producing in non-traditional, mainly non- theatrical spaces which offered closer contact with audience were searched. In aesthetic approaches the action stage design abandoned rampant focus on art, illusoriness, embellishment and complicated technical solutions. On the contrary it took inspiration from "earth works" (arte povera) and pop-art. They used "poor" - which means - common and natural materials [mainly fabrics] and everyday objects. Simplicity and inventiveness became an important requirement of the new aesthetics, as well as constant confrontation of dramatic and empirical reality. Stage props were meant to be mainly polysemous. It means that a scenic element could change its meaning and function a few times during the performance thanks to actors activity. For example - a bed became a dining table, an altar, or a prison. It demanded big imagination of spectators, they often became a part of performance....

Era of Zdenek Hofbauer's activities at the Pilsen Municipal Theatre in 1948 - 1953

This bachelor thesis deals with period in between 1948 and 1953 when Zdeněk Hofbauer was artistic director of J. K. Tyl Theatre. I focused on the drama group, nevertheless I also mention another two theatre artistic groups. Text is devided into two main parts - the first is about Zdeněk Hofbauer (his personal and professional life) and the second is about each theatre season in Hofbauers era in Pilsen. The main resources for this work were studies of theatre critics in the newspapers, the Pilsen archive of J. K. Tyl Theatre and publications about period Czech theatre.

Director of Czechoslovak Radio Jiří Horčička

This bachelor thesis aims to describe the life and work of the director of Czechoslovak Radio (and later Czech Radio) Jiří Horčička. In the first part, the author briefly presents the history of Czechoslovak Radio and explains the contemporary context in which Jiří Horčička worked. The author pays special attention to the artistic field in the radio. Furthermore, the work briefly deals with the development of Czech radio drama and mentions the most important milestones in its history. The most important part of the work is devoted to the life and work of the director. The author deals with Horčička's childhood and his radio beginnings (for example, working in Disman's Radio Children's Ensemble). The work describes Horčička's directorial beginnings and is especially devoted to his first major work, the dramatization of Čapek's War with the Newts. It shows the beginning of Horčička's promotion of a new style in the development of modern radio production. At the same time, the work reflects the achievements of Czech radiophony in the 1960s at home and abroad. The author then devotes to the director's work during normalization and his staging of works of classical literature. This thesis deals with the audio visual direction and its specifics in the field of music videos. The theoretical part describes the beginnings of the directorial activity, deals with the work of a director in a creative team and also focuses in detail on the film grammar and particular means of expression. Then the thesis puts the film grammar into the context of music videos. In the practical part are analyzed stages of realization of the U-Prag's music video Seconds of life, including the analysis of used means of expression.

The development in cost management for the enterprise

The object of study JSC Mospromzhelezobeton, the main direction of activity is manufacture of concrete products. Subject of research system of cost management at the enterprise of JSC Mospromzhelezobeton. The aim of this work is identifying areas of cost optimization for the enterprise JSC Mospromzhelezobeton. JSC Mospromzhelezobeton is the largest enterprise producing concrete products. The company is a supplier in the construction of the largest strategic objects of Russia, such as roads, underground , construction of airports, Olympic venues, etc. The structure of the thesis consists of introduction, 3 chapters, conclusion, bibliography and applications. The first Chapter describes the theoretical basis of cost management, discusses the different types of costs and different management methods. The second Chapter analyses the internal and external environment of the enterprise JSC Mospromzhelezobeton, and also discusses the methods of cost management introduced in the enterprise. The third Chapter analyses the financial and economic activities of enterprises accounting, cost accounting, various methods, and developing proposals to improve the efficiency of cost management in JSC Mospromzhelezobeton.

Visual storytelling in the audiovisual medium

This bachelor thesis concentrates on visual storytelling of a film. The aim of the paper is to summarize and present the basic methods of visual storytelling with the focus on audio-visual medium - namely a film. The paper explains the general principles of creating a film shot and cinematic composition and presents examples of their use in already existing works. The paper deals with the influence of these specific filmmaking methods on cinema audience. These methods will be afterwards practically used during the creation of my own film.

Analysis of the differences between the target and the offer price of construction

This bachelor's thesis analyzes differences between the target and the offer price of construction. The introduction is focused on explaining the basic concepts of this topic, describing the price systems and composition of budgets. The practical part focuses on prices of carcass, where is explaining the differences between main items's price in different price systems. For this work it was used price system of RTS a.s. company and ÚRS Praha a.s. which have been appraise obtained offer budgets from several companies. The aim of the work is to evaluate the difference in prices between the offer and the target price which was created in two various pricing systems.

Mikulášek's productions Europeana and Trapná muka

The thesis' subject is an analysis of two productions by one of the most distinct Czech theatre directors, Jan Mikulášek. Based on her own experiences as a spectator, reviews and analyses in newspapers and theatre magazines, the authoress attempted to describe and analyse the stylistic features of Mikulášek's stage directions, using Trapná muka and Europeana as examples. Since both of the productions are based on originally non-dramatic texts, the thesis will also deal with the strategies of adaptation in addition to stage direction, acting and the visual and musical components. In the analysises of the productions are also included the contexts of the formation of the originál books and also the productions. In the end the thesis aims at a comparison of both productions and points to various differences which appear within the coherent directorial style common to both productions.
