The selected methods of social work with clients self - non sufficient in health care facilities

The main goal of the thesis entitled "The selected methods of social work with clients self-non sufficient in health care facilities" was to describe and to analyze methods used in activation of the elderly suffering from dementia. It draws a comparison of different settings and explores workers's attitude to the methods of activation. The text of the thesis was mapped out into five chapters. The first chapter was set into the context of old age and ageing. The second chapter is concerned with the issues of self-sufficiency and dependency of old age and other related issues. The topic of the third chapter is old age in relation with memory. It defines memory and memory disorders in the elderly suffering from dementia. The fourth chapter is crucial and gives an idea of non-pharmacological and other possible activities which are eligible for application in practice and are intended to reduce cognitive disorders of cognitive functions and behavior disorders. The theoretical part enters into research carried out in four facilities which care for clients with dementia. Comparison of therapeutic concepts and their results at people with physical disability

This master thesis introduces the issue of individual concepts that affect the psychological and motor processes, occurring at people with physical disabilities. It addresses the definition of the basic concepts within both historical and present context. The thesis considers what kind of connection and relationships exist behind the failures of the body scheme and the human psyche, and in greater detail deals with methods that work to improve the quality of life for a person with a physical disability. The research part establishes the situation of comprehensive rehabilitation in the Czech Republic. It is developed according to the preliminary areas: lifelong learning, the status of the comprehensive rehabilitation and procedures used in caring for a person with a physical disability. Physical activities and their impact on health and development of fine and gross motor skills of children with disabilities

Anotace: Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - části teoretické a části praktické. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole se zabývám klasifikací postižení s vymezením pojmu dětské mozkové obrny. Ve druhé kapitole popisuji metody a terapie u dětí s postižením se zaměřením na Vojtovu metodu, fyzioterapii a animoterapii. V kapitole třetí jsou zastoupeny pohybové terapie a aktivity u dětí s postižením. V této části přibližuji rozvoj psychomotoriky. Čtvrtá kapitola je zaměřena na popis praktických postupů žáků speciální školy, popisuji metody rozvoje hybnosti. Ve srovnávacích tabulkách jsou uvedeny výsledky aktivního pozorování a jednotlivé aktivity jsou srovnány v grafu.
Importance of Psychomotor Activities for Preschool Children

This work inquires into the benefits of psychomotoric activities for preschool children's development. The theoretical part consists of the description of preschool development period and of the psychomotor theory as well as of its practical application in this development period. The practical part is based on the suggested set of suitable activities which support physical, psychological and social development. These activities were examined in practice by means of a mixed research. Two methods were used - questioning (the questionnaire and the interview) and structured observing - and by means of them the specifics of these activities were found out and their influence on children's development was assessed.
Using of psychomotoric excercises for children in toddler years

Bachelor thesis is focused on the creation of methodological manual containing educational units with psychomotorical exercises for parents with children in the toddler age and subsequent application of these educational units in training exercises with their children, which took place once a week for three months. Methodological manual precedes a summary of theoretical knowledge from the literature, which is filling the theoretical part. The practical part processes the results of a questionnaire survey aimed on satisfaction with lessons led following this methodological manual. Both research presumptions about satisfaction with lessons that have been set for this work were confirmed.
Activation methods in teaching English with the help of psychomotor exercise in the targeted group

The work deals with the specifics and importance of teaching children foreign language at an early age through physical exercises and activities that support the learning process. The theoretical part explains the developmental characteristics of children prerequisites for language, some important principles of teaching, teacher competencies but also those that acquire the children themselves in the process of learning in connection with the Framework curriculum for preschool education. The work also includes an overview of the most common methods used in teaching a foreign language at an early age. Another part of the work is devoted to the psychomotor, importance of movement in the learning process linked with the health education . The practical part consists of a collection of psychomotor exercises divided into three main thematic areas of teaching - color, body, animals that is intended as an inspiration for teaching English to preschool children. The research includes validation results of this teaching programme using the methods of observation and video analysis of the target group.
