Building of Rubber Production in Odry
Dohnal, Filip ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The object of this thesis is to design and assess steel structure “of hall for industrial production at Odry. The object has a rectangular shape with dimensions 48 x 56 m, with saddle roof with slight inclination and 10,6m high rooftop. The object is a two-bay hall, the main supporting part is formed by frame ties of two sections from plate profiles, on frames are mounted plate purlins. Longitudinal rigidity is ensured by transverse bracings, the transverse rigidity is ensured by frame ties. The supporting part of the wall and roof cladding is made of sandwich panels.
Production hall with administrative build-in structure
Šenk, Josef ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis contains design and assessment of steel structure of production hall with build-in administrative part located in Hrušovany u Brna. The dimensions of the ground plan are 12 x 50 m and the height of the structure is 9 m. The supporting structure consists of transverse frames. Distance of each transverse frame is 5 m. The frame structure is made of steel IPE profiles and is designed as a three-hinged frame. All frames are connected by longitudinal bracings. The spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by sway bracings. The dimensions of the ground plan of the build-in administrative part are 11 x 14,75m. The structure of ceiling is designed as steel-concrete composite structure. The steel structure of production hall and build-in administrative part is made of S235 steel.
Roof Structure of Collection Yard
Sýkora, Jiří ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The roof structure has plan dimensions of 9.15 m in width and 38.4 m in length, the height of the structure is approximately 5.9 m. The planar load-carrying system in the transverse direction consists of a fixed column and a beam with a slope of 8°, which is supported by the column both directly in the middle of the length and by means of hinges in quarters of the length. These transverse support systems are spaced at 6 m intervals. The roof cladding made of profiled steel sheeting metal is supported on plain purlins placed perpendicularly on the load-carrying system. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured in the transverse direction by the fixed of the columns and in the longitudinal direction by the truss bracing. The supporting structure consists of hot rolled steel profiles.
Shopping Center in Ivanovice na Hané
Čech, Martin ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Work deals with design of steel structure of shopping center. It is a building with rectangular shape with dimensions 28 x 55 m and a height 11 m and with cylindrical roof with 50 m radius. Main frames are designed with 5,5 m distance and they are made of arc roof truss connected to steel plate columns. Exterior building envelope is made of Kingspan sandwich panels. Roof cladding is designed without purlins and curtain wall is fastened into side rails. Macalloy tension members are used to obtain spatial rigidity of the structure.
Sports Hall
Zogata, Pavel ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
In my diploma thesis the proposal is developed as supporting steel structure sports hall with dimensions 45 x 54 m, a maximum height of 15.5 meters, for the area of Znojmo. In a static calculation are designed and assessed the main bearing structural components such as solid panel purlins, spatial lattice truss, bracing and solid panel columns, which together with the truss form create a crosslinks, column bases and anchoring, plus Tribune. The work includes the design documentation consisting of a layout drawing, drawing anchoring and drawing selected details.
Steel structure of sport hall
Ceh, Ondřej ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
This thesis contains a design of steel structure of a sport hall placed in the city of Zábřeh na Moravě. The ground dimensions are 29 x 62,5 m, height is 10 m. The steel structure of a roof is based on frames with a span of 29 m and purlins from open cold rolled profiles. A structural material of frames is steel S355 grade, a structural material of purlins is S450 grade. A bolted connection of the frame will be done according to the maximal rigidity and feasibility of the structure.
Steel structure of an industrial building
Kopecký, Ladislav ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Industrial hall with storage outbuilding. The length of the hall is 72 meters and width of 30 meters. The main hall has a span 24 meters and the outbuilding has a span 6m. The distance between primary steel frame is 6 meters. The height of the main hall is 10.7 meters and a height of outbuilding is 13.0 metres. The roof is flat with roof slope of 3.5% the main hall and 8.75% outbuilding. The structural system of the hall's bar structure. Primary steel frame is designed as a steel frame rafter with eaves haunch. In the roof structure are designed purlins. The stability of the structure is secured by roof braces and longitudinal braces. The hall is pin-supported on the foundation pad. The hall is clad wall and roof panels PUR. Main hall is equipped with a bridge crane with capacity of 8 tons.
Steel construction of an exhibition pavilion
Wawreczka, Karel ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The aim of diploma thesis is to design steel roof structure of minimum dimensions 45 m x 50 m and minimum height 12 m. The plan of the building design has dimensions of 52,14 m x 70, 00 m and height is 18,68 m. The roofing was design as 3D truss girders with two lower chords and one upper chord. The shape of 3D truss girder consists of three circular arcs of radius 69,88m, 12,43 m and 33,45 m. Between main girders is 3D bracing. The structure is pin-supported.
Ice Hockey Stadium
Čech, Martin ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Work deals with variant design of steel structure of ice hockey stadium located in Opava. It is a three-aisled hall with shape consists of intersection of ellipse and rectangle with dimensions 70 x 82m. The roof has cylindrical shape with approx. 50 m radius. The building is about 14 m high. Object is divided to three parts – main aisle and two side aisles. The main aisle contains of a rectangle of dimensions 40 x 42 m and two semicircles of radius approx. 20 m. Frames of main aisle are made of arc roof truss connected to steel plate columns. The side aisles with rectangular shape with dimensions 15 x 42 m are connected to main aisle. The structure of side aisle is made of a sloped roof truss. Longitudinal bracing and cross bracing are used to obtain spatial rigidity of the structure. Roof and wall cladding is made of Kingspan sandwich panels.
Steel- load-carrying structure of production hall
Kábrt, Michal ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to make a structural design of steel-load-carrying structure of two-bay production hall with rectangular plan with total width 36m, i.e. with the same width both of the bay 2x18m, and total length ca. 72m. Eaves level of the building is 7,5m. There is one trolley crane with load capacity 5t and span 17,1m in the hall. The building will be roofed by saddle roof with slope 5% (2.86°) and ridge in the middle of the width. Modular distance of main frames is 6m. The production hall is situated on the outskirts of industrial part of town Červený Kostelec. RFEM was used for calculation internal forces on individual structural elements. Designing of elements and joints was made according to valid eurocodes.
