Further it contains the whole realization of communication interface and an example of measurement of the EMC problems too. Last part of this thesis was a realization of the automatic measurement via the development environment MATLAB and Agilent VEE, which was used for measurement of noise background.
EMC antenna
Tenora, Jan ; Pokorný, Michal (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this master’s thesis was to design antenna working in frequency range from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. Designed biconical antenna requires balanced feed to work properly, therefore designing the balancing unit based on discrete components was necessary. Designed antenna was also constructed and its return loss, gain and radiation patterns were verified by measurement. This master’s thesis also introduces readers into principles of antenna measurements of disturbing signals in the area of EMC and compares different types of antennas for bands of meter and decimeter waves.

The aim of this master thesis is to describe the requirements put on electronics and headlights within car industry, above all on the newly emerging 48V power network. In the thesis the principles of chosen DC/DC buck converter topologies are briefly described. In the next part of this thesis the converters are designed and manufactured. Further, the EMC chamber measurement of these converters and their subsequent evaluation is performed. In the last part the proposed converters are compared and evaluated.

Neural networks for EMC modeling of small airplanes
Koudelka, Vlastimil ; Goňa,, Stanislav (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with neural modeling of electromagnetic field inside small aircrafts, witch can contain composite materials in their construction. Introduction to neural networks and its application in EMC of small airplanes is discussed in the first part of the text. In the second part of this thesis we design a simple EM model of small airplane. The airplane is simulated by two parallel dielectric layers (the left-hand side wall and the right hand side wall of the airplane). The layers are put into a rectangular metallic waveguide terminated by the absorber in order to simulate the illumination of the airplane by the external wave (both of the harmonic nature and pulse one). Numerical analyses are performed to search the relations between the distribution of an electromagnetic field inside the aircraft and electric parameters of model walls. The results of numerical analyses are used to train two types of neural network. In this way we can obtain accurate continuous model of electromagnetic field inside the aircraft. For the comparison with neural networks a multi-dimensional cubic spline interpolation is provided also. Neural classifiers are also investigated. We use them for classification of imaginary composite materials in terms of EMC. The nearest neighbour algorithm is applied as a classic approach to problem of classification.

Communication & Man-Machine Interface for industrial sensors
Marcoň, Petr ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the possibilities of local and remote sensors configuration. Summary overview of the most common Fieldbus and protocols for remote configuration is performed. The focus is mainly dedicated to the HART protocol that is analyzed from the physical layer to the application layer. Circuit diagram and printed circuit board (PCB) of smart sensor with thermistor probe Pt1000 was designed. The HART protocol allows the smart sensor parameters setting as well. The functionality of remote configuration was tested in HARTWinConf program. The control elements for local sensor configuration, such as buttons, matrix keyboards and touchscreens, are described in the following chapter. Representation of the measurement values on display module is introduced too. The most important parameters and aspect of character LCD, graphics LCD and OLED displays are described in greater details. The DD12864YO-3A OLED display was selected to use with designed temperature smart sensor module. The display shows the loop current, the percentage of current range and the primary value - temperature. As the last step the EMI and EMS tests for all modules were performed.
