Everyday Politics
Šimková, Barbora ; Stejskalová,, Tereza (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
In my diploma thesis called Everyday Politics I deal with the insufficiently solved topic of economic relations and structural inequalities of actors in contemporary art. I focus on the issue of economic situation of art students and their position within the university of technical direction with high demands on results and future use of measurable prestige and lucrative work position.
The usage of the recycled aggregates to roads from the point of view of economical and ecological conception
Trávníček, Dušan ; Varaus, Michal (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is based on decision making process connected with the usages of recycled and natural aggregates in a road construction. In the research I deal with the ways of recycling and their economic and environmental benefits for society. The practical part then uses this information to bring the real results.
Economics aspects of building and operation of heat power plant utilizing biomass
Špinar, Marek ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This work builds on a semester project where they were processed by the first two points of tasks, this the issue of the use of biomass in energy and needs quantification of biomass for energy production plant defined performance. Now the work is devoted to comparing plants using heat energy from biomass economically and possible future developments respectively. Recommendations for construction. Prior to the issue of technology are addressed aspects related to the implementation of production in terms of investment. Methods are provided solution investment opportunities and outlook on the implementation phase electricity works. The work is devoted to the assessment of value and comparison of different technologies to convert biomass into electricity. The paper compares the capital and operating costs of the considered types of power plants defined performance. The indicator is the ratio CZK / kWh. The important part is the processing recommendations for construction based on the information gathered. This section discusses the sources of electrical energy with a view to the future, therefore consideration of appropriate application of specific types of production with regard to regulation, for use as to the optimal mode of operation. At the end of the work is devoted to the issue of clean energy from biomass, which is the main point of interest in financial support from the state in the form of grants, which the state encourages individual entities in the construction of energy sources and bio establishments.
Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Company Management
Udalova, Anna ; Fojtů, Kateřina (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to evaluate the economic situation of the company through financial analysis. The theoretical part describes the methods and procedures of financial analysis and the principle of time series and regression analysis in statistics. The practical part analyzes the current situation using economic indicators, which I then evaluate and try using statistical methods.
Business Simulation of a Firm Management
Voháňka, Ondřej ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with business simulation games. The first part introduces us to the field of business management, analysis of available business simulations and situation of this market. Further in the text we will find design of new business simulation game. In the last part there is a complete description of project realization. The main contribution is an unusual theme (software selling companies), availability and modern solution.
Mathematical Methods in Economics
Mareček, Ján ; Vrábelová, Jana (referee) ; Bobalová, Martina (advisor)
Main focus of this thesis is to analyze mathematical methods in the field of economics and to describe both teoretically and practically some of the mathematical methods comonly used in economics.
Applications of Fibonacci numbers in economy - Elliott Wave Principle
Rusyniak, Martin ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Klaška, Jiří (advisor)
The Elliott wave principle, as a technique for prediction of price movements, combines knowledge of Fibonacci numbers, golden ratio and crowd psychology. This method replaces price fluctuations with waves, amongst which it is finding relation to the golden ratio. In the introduction of this bachelor thesis, we are going to have a look at Fibonacci, his integer sequence and theoretical description of the Elliott wave principle. The core of this thesis is explanation of basic strategy on five-wave pattern and later, swing breakout strategy and 3-swing pattern. All of these strategies are presented on real-world examples with explanation of analogy and nuances. These strategies were explained as factual usable algorithms with clarification of all properties. Concept of algorithm for the application of breakout strategy and its flowchart is included in matching chapter. After that follows insight into problematic of spirals as a method uncovering another options for use of the golden ratio for analysing price movements.
Utilization renewable resource inside of PS in Slovakia
Slávik, Gabriel ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
My work concern with about application renewability sources of power and economical contribution. The first part contain present situation of power system in Slovakia, installed capacity, producing of electric power, power supply and distribution. The second part concern with power effects enviroment. In next part compose ability of using renewability sources of power in Slovakia, possibility of using biomass, sun, water, wind and geothermal power. The last part deal with economical contribution of renewability sources.
Design of the Production Planning and Control System
Staněk, Michal ; Vondálová, Anna (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
Modernizing of current information systems. Implementation of simpler and more practical systems for all processes of production control. Achievement of better comunication of staffs.
The use of soft computing as support for business decision-making
Pekárek, Jan ; Jašek, Roman (referee) ; Lenort, Radim (referee) ; Zinecker, Marek (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The presented dissertation deals with the problem of deploying the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the Czech Republic. The core of the thesis is a mathematical optimization model, which is implemented in the language of MATLAB computing software. The model consists of several sub-units representing separate models of studied sub-problems. The individual chapters of the work describe successively these sub models. The sub models are: demand model of the charging service, model of charging supply, charging simulator model, optimization model and its resolving optimization method. The optimization model is accelerated by parallelization on the graphics card. The optimization method is designed as a case-specific implementation of genetic algorithms on a population of tree-structured individuals. The final chapter deals with an economic aspect of the problem under consideration, the implications of the findings and the role that the optimization model plays in the context under consideration. The main benefit of the work lies in the formulation of the problem as a mathematical model, the accompanying analyses and the provided justifications. Any user with updated data can then use this work along with the attached scripts to find answers to questions about the relationship between electromobility and the charging infrastructure.
