Possibilities of influencing functional movement disorders of the locomotive apparatus in ballet girls of 6-20 years of age using physiotherapy inputs.
MUNDUCHOVÁ, Andrea
As highly trained individuals, ballet dancers deal with demanding dance training and specific positions which require special skills and may not be performed properly. This often results in imbalances and their further development, potentially leading to injuries. Due to highly demanding performance of this sport, they are forced to end their careers at a young age. Not only for this reason, regeneration and compensation tools use should be integrated in both their ballet and everyday lives. The goals of this bachelor thesis involve evaluation of the strict ballet posture in specific ballet positions regarding the physiological body posture, evaluation of most common imbalances in ballet dancers and a proposal of several kinesiotherapy and physiotherapy methods to prevent disbalance development. The theoretical part of the thesis includes basic information on ballet and ballet dancer requirements. Rules of the ballet body posture in comparison to the physiological body posture are then described. The thesis further involves basic anatomy description of the spine and upper and lower limbs, supplemented with most common imbalances in these parts and therapy possibilities. In the practical part, the method involves a qualitative research of three individuals, each of them of a different age and a different time they have practiced the ballet. All three subjects have shown signs of locomotive apparatus imbalances. The resulting information have been analysed with concern to the initial and final assessments, description of applied therapies and a rehabilitation plan proposal. The research has shown that a well-applied, regularly-performed exercise affects ballet-induced difficulties positively. The thesis can be used by ballet dancers to prevent potential injuries caused by classical ballet performance and to realise the differences between classical ballet rules and human body physiology.

Regál, Ondřej ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šťastný, Petr (referee)
Title: Influence of different way of strength training on body composition, postural stability and muscle and explosive strength in Men's Physique and Street Workout Athletes Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to find out the level and the difference between the parameters of body constitution, postural stability and muscular and explosive force of upper and lower limbs with groups of Men's Physique and Street Workout athletes. Methods: The research sample was represented by two groups (Men's Physique competitors and Street Workout athletes). We assessed chosen parameters of body constitution by Tanita MC-980MA, postural stability by RS Footscan, explosive force (Kistler) and muscular force (Cybex Humac Norm and Takei A5401). Assessed parameters of body constitution were percentage of body fat and fatless matter. In the tests of postural stability, we assessed total travel way of the center of pressure (TTW) in chosen stands (open/closed eyes and one- leg left/right). When testing explosive force, overall produced maximal force and height of the leap were assessed. Muscular force of upper limbs was evaluated by produced force in kg and muscular force of lower limbs was assessed with the help of muscular force moment in concentric muscle activity with angular velocity 60ř·s-1. Result: We found...
Muscle disbalance in golf players
Vlasák, Tomáš ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Gryc, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Muscular disbalance of golf players Purpose: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to define the relationship between the movement golf swing and muscle disbalance on certain muscle groups based on six case studies using the Tensiomyography. Methods: The bachelor thesis has the character of qualitative research. The measurements were made based on the assumption of characteristic muscle imbalances that could occur as a result of a golf swing. Six case studies have been carried out. The tensiomyography measuring instrument TMG 100 was used for measurements. Results: Based on measurements of six probands, muscle disbalances were found on the upper body parts. Predominantly in muscle muscles deltoideus posterior and erector spinae and triceps brachii.
The impact of tennis on the musculoskeletal system
Sitařová, Klára ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Name: The impact of tennis on the musculoskeletal system Context: Due to the characteristics of tennis as a unilateral loading of the musculoskeletal system, it is likely that numerous muscle imbalances appear. Aim: The aim of my bachelor thesis was to determine the impact of tennis on the musculoskeletal system. Due to the characteristics and style of tennis and therefore the unilateral loading of the locomotive apparatus my thesis was primarily based on muscular dysbalance which I detected by the TMG measuring device. Methods of the research: This bachelor thesis was implemented as a qualitative research in the form of six case studies. The tensiomyograf TMG 100 was used to diagnose muscle imbalance in the selected muscle groups. Results: In five participants out of the total of six there was a shortening of the muscle biceps brachii on the dominant side and a slackening of the muscle biceps brachii on the contralateral side. Moreover in five of the six participants there was a slackening found in the muscle deltoideus anterior and in all six of the participants there was a slackening found in the muscle deltoideus posterior on the dominant side, and in five out of six participants there was a shortening detected in the muscle deltoideus anterior on the contralateral side, and in all the six...
Compensation program for athletes in Greco-Roman wrestling
Konvičný, Luděk ; Prajerová, Květa (advisor) ; Kamarýtová, Jitka (referee)
Title: Influence of the compensation program for athletes in the Greco-Roman wrestling. Objectives: This diploma thesis concerned with an evaluation of the postural and phasic muscles on the group of ten Greco-Roman wrestling fighters at the age from 16 to 17. Methods: For the assessment of the muscular inequality we used input and output measurements and based on the findings we have chosen the intervention program according to recommended literature. We applied the intervention program to the training units for four months. At the end of the diploma thesis we evaluated the significance of our program using output measurements according to the captured photographs, which we evaluated: fulfilled = 1, failed = 2. We used the Wilcox test to calculate the statistical significance. Results: The worst results were found in the area of postural muscles of m.erector truncata and phasic muscles of m.rhomboideus. The best results were achieved in the area of postural muscles of m.sternocleidomastoideus in a forward bend and in the area of the biceps femoris. The best results of the phasic muscles were achieved in the area of m.rhomboideus. At the end of this thesis it is statistically confirmed that applied intervention program eventually results in the significant difference between the initial and final...

Soukup, Filip ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Mahrová, Andrea (referee)
Title: Application of new trends beneath the neurophysiological patterns in sports training footballers. Objectives: The main objective of this work is the application of intervention programs based on the neurophysiological patterns of motion and determine their effectiveness. Methods: It is a methodical work, respecting the individual needs of soccer players in sports training. Players club FK Dukla Praha U16 were chosen on the basis of orthopedic disorders followed by a recommendation intervention programs into the training process. Results: We found that soccer players selected after the application of intervention programs in the training process achieved a significant improvement, especially on the muscles, on which the program was targeted . We have verified that the intervention programs in football practice could be applied. On the basis of subjective feelings footballers can say that the players perceive intervention largely as beneficial. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Tauchman, Lukáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Levitová, Andrea (referee)
Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to evaluate body posture in students of 3rd and 4th grade of elementary school, to assess the impact of the intervention programme and to discuss further ways how the body posture can be affected. Methods: The body posture evaluation was performed through an experiment with elements of qualitative and quantitative research. Results: The body posture evaluation was performed using three selected tests: Mathias test, evaluation by Jaros and Lomička and measurement of the cervical and lumbar lordosis. Mathias test showed good posture results in only 14 students (16.9%), 69 students (83.1%) had poor posture. According to Jaroš and Lomíček, the head and neck were found to be the worst scoring areas, while the best scoring area of the body was found to be the chest. In terms of posture, the pretest revealed 27 students (32.6%) to have good posture, 54 students (65%) bad posture and 2 students (2.4%) were found to have very poor posture. The posttest revealed 36 students (43.4%) to have good posture and 47 students (56.6%) poor posture. Very bad posture was not found in posttest. Measurement of cervical lordosis was within the normal range for 10 (12%) students in testing (pretest) and for 12 students (14.5%) in the posttest. Lumbar lordosis testing was also in...
