Biomass for power plants in the off-grid operation

The thesis discusses the use of biomass for electricity island operation. The first chapter explains the concept of biomass and its distribution. It also shows the potential and availability of biomass. The second chapter describes the transformation of biomass into a suitable fuel form. The third to fifth chapter describes the conversion of biomass as a fuel into electrical energy through combustion, Stirling and steam engine. In these chapters there are brought the following parameters and prices of these motors and single-phase and three-phase alternators that can be connected to these engines. Other chapters describe the production of electricity in line with consumption, where the cost per hour to run engines for the various types of fuel and price of the electricity produced in kilowatt hours is calculated. In the last chapter of the thesis there is described the possibility of accumulation of electrical energy.
Extra choice shops with food assortment in the district of Prague 1 in the eighties of 20th century

My thesis is devoted to the influence of food retail units with an exclusive assortment on the territory of Prague 1 at the time of normalization, specifically in the 80s of the 20th century. All facilities which are mentioned in the thesis have been incorporated into the enterprise Potraviny Prague 1, and were somehow exceptional in its own way, whether it was a privilege in supplying compared to standard establishments, or the customers' demand for local delicacies. As the enterprise Potraviny Prague 1 was a direct superior of the member establishments and their important part, this thesis deals with its origin and history. Its inseparable part consists also in the mention of organized competitions, shows, and last but not least, I mention the awards, which ware granted to this enterprise. The fourth chapter focuses on the availability of the specialized range of products, their quality and the level of provided services, which is connected to overseeing the establishments by its parent organization. The methodology of this thesis uses both the scientific literature, the press of that time, and the interviews conducted using the method of oral history.
Main international violin competitions with a focused on queen Elisabeth international music competition of Belgium

This bachelor work turns its attention to selected the main international violin competitions. Individual chapters are sorted by creation competition. Chapter 1 describes the international federation that ensures and helps in the functioning of many competitions. Chapter 2-7 is a competition that fall under this international federation. The last chapter is an example of competition where are two age's limits, is an independent organization and is not among the members WFIMC.
Irrationality in the perception of money

Irrationality is a phenomenon that can be seen in every aspect of human life. In many cases people do not behave rationally in terms of economic theory and they often do not even realise it. This thesis aims at problem of irrationality in the perception of money and describes anomalies in rational decision-making. First, it introduces the topics that behavioural economics is concerned with and its place among other sciences. It brings the overview of history of behavioural economics and the most influential people that are responsible for its evolution. Next, it briefly summarizes the most common research methods used. After that, the concept of rationality is described, both from classical economics and behavioural points of view. The core of the thesis is the experiment that is an example of irrationality in the perception of money. Studies that examined this problem are presented. Finally, a conducted survey is presented, which detects the presence of irrational behaviour.
Korean approach to their cultural heritage

This thesis deals with Korean Approach to their Cultural Heritage. The first part focuses on the legal measures and categorization of the cultural heritage with emphasis on the category of national treasures. The following part deals with organizations concerned with the protection, administration, research and promotion of monuments. In the next chapter are mentioned cultural properties inscribed on the UNESCO list together with two prizes sponsored by the Republic of Korea. The last part describes the efforts of Koreans for the return of Korean cultural heritage from abroad.
Retail trade at Prague-Smíchov: spatial differentiation of convenience stores and prices of goods

This thesis addresses a specific type of retail units - convenience stores - in the locality of central Smíchov in Prague. The aim is to explore spatial differentiation of these stores and the prices of goods in them and to detect the link between the characteristics and price levels of convenience stores. The research was situated in a location strongly differentiated by its socioeconomic status, the physical environment and functional usage. This promises a revelation of significant and interesting outcomes. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the accurate definition of convenience stores and the evolution of retail in Prague with emphasis on its inner city. In the methodical part I focus on the researched area delimitation and specification and the description of the data collection and processing. The last chapter summarizes the results, which are presented mainly by maps. The work is primarily based on extensive field research and spatial data survey. The localization of the store is the main factor influencing the differentiation of convenience stores and their prices. The location on the main street is the key determinant. Analysis and optimization of timber construction costs

This diploma thesis deals with the cost analysis and cost optimization of an exact project of a wooden house in a construction company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is the research part, where basic concepts are defined. The second part of this thesis is the practical part which includes a brief description of the concerned wooden house with its preliminary and final budget. Individual parts of these budgets are subject to the cost analysis. As a result of the cost analysis the price differences between the budgets are shown. In the next step the verification bill of quantities with an item based budget in the ÚRS price system is put together. It is used for comparison and determination of price differences. According to the obtained data, optimization of the preliminary budget is proposed. At the end of this thesis an overall evaluation of price differences and proposed measures are described.
Identifikace faktorů ovlivňujících ceny stavebních pozemků v ČR

The diploma thesis deals with determination of factors affecting the prices of building plots in the Czech Republic. Land prices were analysed from a microeconomic and macroeconomic point of view. Cross-sectional data were used for microeconomic analyzes, and time series compiled from quarterly data were selected for macroeconomic analysis. Macroeconomic analysis of land price developments was carried out for the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, and the results of country analyses were then compared. The results of the microeconomic analysis were compared with other work on the same issue. The individual models were created using the least squares method in gretl. Time series for Germany and the Czech Republic were compiled for the period from the first quarter of 2005 to the last quarter of 2015, for Austria it was a period from the first quarter of 2006 to the last quarter of 2015.

Brno: Mendel University, 2017 This diploma thesis investigate marketing sales supports, used by businessman in materiál handling market. In theoretical part are identified differences in B2B market against B2C mar-ket. I studied different pricing tools in this enviroment. Some attention is given to price making and payment management. In the practical part are evaluated selling prices of goods. Next indicators are trading margin, operating cost and businessman profit. The next step is evaluating of marketing sales supports, especially discounts and assessment of these dis-counts in link with net sales. The next step in thesis is rating payment ma-nagement with subscribers and suppliers.
