New forms of victimization in the Czech Republic: incidents at labour offices.

The aim of the theses is to elaborate on the problematics of theoretical aspects of victims of criminal acts. The work's main concern is the area of problematics of workplace victimization. This topic shall therefore be investigated deeply in the theoretical part of the theses as well. The practical part of the work will depict and process the specific characteristics of the mentioned problematics and in relation to it workplace victimization of employees of Czech Republic's Employment Bureau will be further looked on. In the theses we mention and define the basic terms connected to the chosen problematics. The aim of that is to point out their importance in relation to other disciplines, especially those which are related to victimological research and problematics of victims of criminal acts. Nowadays, the topic of workplace victimization, in other words victimization undergone when in work, is more and more frequently researched and looked up by laics, academic people and even the media. The dominant of the second part of the theses is a focus on employees of Czech Republic's Employment Bureau. In the work we analysed, from the data provided by the Bureau, the criminal or violent incidents which happened on the workplace there. The topic of diploma thesis is transport infrastructure in Moravian Silesian region. The thesis is separate to theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on region characteristics, regional development and transport infrastructure including financing. The practical part is focused on analysis transport infrastructure in Moravian Silesian region, which is mapped and described in detail. Using the knowledge from the theoretical part, the outcome is described impact of transport infrastructure on the region development.

Kucharovicová, Z. The comparison of unemployment trends in the regions of the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. This bachelor thesis examines unemployment trends in the regions of the Czech Republic for the period of 2010 to 2015 and provides the comparison of these trends. Three regions - South Moravian Region, Karlovy Vary Region and Moravian-Silesian Region - have been chosen for this purpose. The indicator of unemployment called the percentage of unemployed persons has been used for this study. Time series of this indicator are analysed by using the additive decomposi-tion of time series and regression analysis. Based on this study, unemployment trends in the chosen regions are apparently identical to each other. Nevertheless, there are some regional disparities which result in diverse unemployment.

This Bachelor thesis deals with the development of agricultural sector in Moravian region. The prime goal of this thesis is to determine main commodities of this region and to assess their progress. The thesis is devided into two parts - the literal part and the analytic part. In the first part the basic concepts related to agriculture sector such as the agriculture, agribusiness, agricultural production and agrarian market are defined. The second part describes the region itself and the main commodities that are being produced or breed here. Their development is analyzed in this part as well.

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of active labour market policies in Moravian-Silesian Region and Usti Region. Its objective is to evaluate the efficiency of the active labour market policy’s measures with the use of statistical data from The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and The Labour office. The thesis focuses on the composition of measures, allocation of financial resources, targeting on disadvantaged groups in the labour market and overall results of active labour market policies in these regions. The bachelor thesis provides recommendations for future decisions on this issue.

The bachelor thesis deals with the tourism development in the Moravian-Silesian Region and it’s separated to two parts. First part of bachelor thesis focused on tourism issue and destination management. The terms which are closely related to the topic are clarified here. The practical part evaluates the current state of tourism in the destination by using localization, selective and realization factors. Primary data were obtained via survey which took place among visitors to the Moravian-Silesian Region. Based on results of primary and secondary analysis the new tourism product was created. The product was designed to help develop tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the loyalty of the visitor to the destinations - the Moravian-Silesian and South Moravian regions and subsequently to formulate recommendations for the destination management and the providers of tourism services. The literature review explains concepts related to the subject matter and further analyzes the current situation of both destinations. Then, the primary marketing research was evaluated, where 353 respondents were obtained. Quality factors that have the greatest impact on visitor loyalty are identified. At the end, the destinations are compared and, on the basis of this, recommendations are proposed for increasing loyalty to these regions.
Analýza stavu ekologického zemědělství a bioprodukce ve vybraném regionu Moravskoslezského kraje - okres BRUNTÁL

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the condition of organic farming and organic production in the Moravian-Silesian Region with a focus on the district Bruntal. The first part of the thesis outlines the history and current state of organic farming in the Czech Republic and the world, presents the basic principles and ideas of organic farming and also deals with the topic of organic food. This section also presents the Moravian-Silesian Region and the district Bruntal. The second part contains information about organic farming and organic production in the Moravian-Silesian Region and its individual districts. The situation in the district of Bruntal is analyzed in detail. The analysis is supplemented by a questionnaire survey, which is focused on ecological entrepreneurs in the district and also on consumers. In conclusion, the information obtained is summarized and discussed.

Tomanová, A. Quality of Life Analysis in the Karlovy Vary and Moravian-Silesian Regions. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2019. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of quality of life in the Karlovy Vary region and Moravian-Silesian region. The thesis is divided into two parts, literary research and the practical part. The literature search defines the concept of quality of life and related indicators that capture the social and economic area. Furthermore, the definition of the term SWOT analysis, which is used in the second part of this work, also appears in this section. There is characteristic of Karlovy Vary and Moravian-Silesian region in its practical part. These areas are further analyzed according to selected quality of life indicators. Subsequently, a mutual comparison of these regions is elaborated. At the end of the thesis there are suggestions for recommendations that could improve the socio-economic situation in both regions.
Comparison of regional differences in long-term plans for the development of education in Jihomoravsky and Moravskoslezsky region

The diploma thesis deals with the comparison of regional differences in long-term plans of education development in these regions. The theoretical part begins with the definition of key terms related to education policy, then with the legislative framework for the creation of long-term plans and links these documents to national and European strategic documents in education. In the research part are analyzed both documents, their logical interconnection and relation to national strategic documents and outputs of each part. The main part is focused on the comparison of both documents and their influence on the development of education in the given region. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the form, outputs and differences of both documents both in relation to national strategic documents in education. There are used methods of quantitative and qualitative content analysis, theoretical-empirical method, document analysis.
