Turbochargers for Present Combustion Engines

This bachelor´s thesis is focused on basic review of turbochargers present´s drive units. Work is specialized search dealing in first part with history and process of supercharging. In second, main part work attends to boost control of turbochargers, multistage supercharging, twin-scroll supercharging and latest design solutions in concrete actual petrol and diesel engines. Final part describes individual parts of turbochargers and failures in use of turbochargers.
Valuation of a stock title with profits adjustment for the impact of business cycles

The bachelor thesis is focused on the valuation of preferred stock title BMW with normalization of profitability from business cycles. In first two chapters, the company is subjected to the analysis from the point of its main geographic segments as well as the point of its profitability, together with factors influencing the earnings. The analysis of the main geographic segments scrutinizes the contemporary situation of these markets and the position of the company on each of them. The analysis of profitability is aimed on very earnings of the company, on the partial adjustment of these earnings and on the identification of crucial aspects that affect the profitability. The whole purpose of the third chapter is the normalization of profitability in order to isolate the real profitability from the one affected by the business cycles and the valuation of the company with utilizing the normalized profitability and the Sum-of-the-parts valuation method. At the end of the whole thesis the comparison between the market price and the intrinsic value of preferred stock is formulated.
Marketing communication of the brand BMW in the Czech Republic between years 2015-2016

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyse marketing communication of BMW in the Czech Republic between 2015 and 2016. The theoretical part includes definition of marketing communication and single tools of communication mix. In the practical part, I focus briefly on the history and progress of BMW and its position in the Czech market. Furthermore, I describe particular parts of communication mix and analysis of competitors. The thesis also includes own research which is focused on the fans and owners of BMW's cars. It tries to find out the attitude of BMW fans and general view of the company.
Analysis of BMW Cars Marketability on the Czech Market

The diploma thesis deals with analysis of sales of BMW vehicles on the Czech market. The production of the currently produced cars was described and analyzed the most commonly sold models. For these models, historical developments have been further analyzed, and its changes have been described in terms of vehicle technical level. On the basis of these evaluations, the price development of the individual models was assessed, as well as the comparison of the price of the sale price to the new price compared to the amortization scales in accordance with the Methodology of the Expert Standard No. I / 2005
BMW Up-to-date SI-engines

The Bachelor’s thesis deals with modern BMW spark-ignition engines. It provides an overview of current automotive design solutions in gasoline engines. The work is focused on three main areas. The first part describes the latest and unconventional technologies used in current BMW spark-ignition engines. The second part is focused on design solutions in specific aggregates, their evaluation or comparison with contemporary competition. The last part describes the hybrid vehicles and the car manufacturer's response to emission standards with focus on the waste heat of a car.

The construction is carried out with regard to the rules laid down by FAS Czech Republic. I used theoretical knowledge and Lotus Engine Simulation software in this thesis.

This master thesis includes a comprehensive analysis of the new car sales via the internet. The SLETPE and SWOT analyses were used for the overall analysis of the external and internal environment. The opinion about this new way of selling cars was inspected by marketing research. The current websites of companies are described and assessed, because of the importance for the implementation of e-commerce.
BMW Twelve-cylinder Engines

Bachelor’s thesis deals with mapping manufacture of BMW twelve-cylinder engines in accordance with current legislation. Thesis described the issue of engine construction and materials with respect to current requirements. Beginning of bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to the history od the BMW brand, especially to founders, first made vehicles and iconic vehicles. Carmaker has celebrated 25 years anniversary of V12 engines in 2012. Third chapter is dedicated to engine marking, because engine marking is difficult to understand. The next chapter is the most comprehensive because it contains a list of engines, including their description and comparison with the competition. In addition to passenger vehicles is thesis briefly focused on sport cars engines and prototypes that were never been mass-produced. The last chapter is devoted to the used technique, primarily to variable valve timing and variable valve lift . Furthermore, it aims to High Precison Injection, Electronic throttle control valves , CAN-Bus and marginally also TwinPower Turbo. In conclusion of the thesis is list of sources, tables and pictures of all engines and pictures explaining used techniques.
BMW Eight-cylinder Vee-type Engines

This bachelor’s thesis incorporates development of BMW Vee-type eight cylinder engines, made for normal, sports and race cars. In the first part there is history of BMW company and effect of legislation of the day, engine technology and their labelling. In the second part there is overview of engine development in chronological order. Interesting technical solutions, power output and applications are mentioned in engines part. Chosen engines are comprised with competition of the day.
