Interaction of the Metrical and Phonological Aspects of Language Constituting the Rhytm in Poetry
Zindulková, Klára ; Binar, Vladimír (advisor) ; Wiendl, Jan (referee)
The chief subject of this work is a detailed description of rhytmical structure of two versifications - accentual-syllabic verse and quantitative verse. Their rhytmical principles are compared to the rhytm of music, in order to find the analogies and differences. The task of the vocalic quantity is closely analyzed and the hypothetic interconnection of both versifications is explained in the next part of the work. Then I return to the theories of J. Král and O. Hostinský, comparing them with the modern metrical theories and mention the possible contribution of these theories to vocal music lyrics creation. Further in the work I concentrate on the connexion of textual and musical element in the vocal music, examining the rhytmical aspects of their interaction, especially the rhytmical effect of word and music accent. The task of pauses in three described rhytmical systems is examined afterwards.
Wireless sports timer
Gál, Marek ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with design and realization of universal sport timer and uses wireless communication between individual components. The purposes is to achieve maximum mobility, reliability and simplicity for users. This work doesn‘t deal with sensing elements of measuring system, it only provides examples of their typical usage. The content of this proposal is the primary unit, which will ensure time measurement with 0,01s resolution and the secondary unit, which will track a sensing elements and provide information for processing to primary unit. The design comprises communication method, hardware of all devices and firmware.
Wireless Timer for Fire Sport Competitions
Holinka, Milan ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the design, development and realization of a wireless electronic timer for use in firesport. Specification of the final product is built with regard to versatility, ease of use and low acquisition costs. Commercial products have been compared as inspiration for this work. Requirements of the timer are based on the rules of firesport disciplines, where the timer can be used. It consists of a base station that can be accompanied for additional elements used to starting, splits capturing and stopping. An independent communication module has been created to ensure wireless connection. Libraries for comfort work with the module, support for USB bus and reliable protocol for wireless transmission have been implemented.
Electronic timekeeping with movement detection
Paulus, Luboš ; Brož, Vladimír (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
Agility is a competition for dogs and their whipper. The score is made from numbers of errors which dog made and also time in which the dog overcomes crimps decides. Start and finish are detected by the reflective optical spar with logical NPN output. Spar havs to detect only dog in set position in recruit. This signal is processed by a micro – controller, which processes data, more precisely time with accuracy on tenths, sends data on the superior PC.The communication of micro-controller and PC is possible only through USB, RS 232 or wireless RS 232.
