Thermal properties of electric machine
Buřil, Pavel ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This bachleor's thesis is dealing with choosing of right consecution for simulation of thermal attributes (propagation of heat) in electrical machines. In next part, there is descripted redraw of the real model of machine with using FEM and following simulation in Ansys Workbench development environment. Base was the real measurement of asynchronous motor. In detail shows today's usual methods of development in similar problematics. Purpose of tihs Bachleor's thesis is to serwe as a study aid.
Control of asynchronous motor by PowerFlex drive
Kovář, Pavel ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The Thesis deals with the basic principles of function of Asynchronous motor. It also describes Frequency invertor PowerFlex 700 and PLC ControlLogix from the company Allen Bradley, and marginally industrial network ETherNet/IP. The main part of this project is control of asynchronous motor in aid of frequency invertor. As an example of this control in this Thesis is used control of production line for drilling holes into the metal beams. Unfortunately, its activity is only simulating, because of this production line does not exist physically. The main problem of control of this production line is undoubtedly the control of asynchronous motor on correct location. The task of production line was designed with regard to using as a laboratory task for teaching. The last part of this Thesis deals with the animated visualization of this production line in the program FactoryTalk View Studio, which is possible to record to display terminal, which is designated for visualization in industry.
Traction Drives with Asynchronous Motors
Běloušek, Josef ; Skala, Bohumil (referee) ; Richter, Aleš (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The first part of this work is devoted to the design of a traction asynchronous motor. The second part focuses on the developed method of the equivalent circuit parameters identification of the asynchronous motor in the form of -network. It is explained here that the equivalent circuit in the shape of a -network, alternatively of an inverse 'I-network, is exactly equivalent and fully-fledged to a T-network, although one of two stray inductances is formally missing. Furthermore, the relationships for the conversions of the T-network parameters to the -network parameters and back, and of the T-network to the inverse 'I-network and back are found. The third part deals with the calculation of the torque and the current characteristics of the asynchronous motor. A sensitive analysis of the torque characteristic is carried out on the individual parameters of the equivalent circuit of the asynchronous motor in the form of a -network and a method of the measurement by means of a flywheel is used for the torque characteristic measurement of the asynchronous motor. The fourth part focuses on the verification of the identified -network parameters in the Matlab-model of the traction drive.
Coupled modeling of induction motor using finite element method
Gregor, Tomáš ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes complex modeling of asynchronous motor by finite element method. Complex modeling concerns to making models based on different physical principles and their connection. Models are made in Ansys program components and their connection is made in program Ansys Workbench. This thesis includes creating electromagnetic model, thermal model, mechanical model and coupled model which connect partial models.
Constrained modeling of induction motor using physical modeling
Toman, Marek ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This paper deals with interaction of different physical phenomena in asynchronous motor. The first part of this work is devoted to computing of electrical ratios in asynchronous motor. By using the equivalent circuit in the shape of Gamma-circuit the equation for computing of currents, performances and losses of asynchronous motor are derived. The second part describes calculating of electromagnetic circuit and iron-core losses. In the next part there is the first part of associated model created which respects electric and electromagnetic ratios in the asynchronous motor. This model can be used for example to pursuance of variation of flux density caused by resizing load. In this model the unconventional way of computing the magnetizating inductance and resistance coresponding to iron-core losses is used. The next part deals with calculation of machine warming using the thermal network. In the last part there is a complete coupled model assembed which respects the interaction of electrical, electromagnetical and thermal ratios of induction machine.
Design of automatic drive for church bells
Zajíc, Jiří ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The Diploma thesis describes the design, manufacture and testing of a universal automation machine for church bells. The research section summarizes the bell, way of use and properties. The drives and their starting and power switching characteristic are analyzed. The chain drive based on the selected engine and the whole assembly is designed and tested by using PLC. Unique controller based on a modular design was designed. Sensors based on magnetic rotary encoder were also created for this unit. The entire circuit was tested on three evangelical church bells in the town Klobouky u Brna.

Control of asynchronous motor
Semerád, Jiří ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Běloušek, Josef (advisor)
The thesis is focused on asynchronous motors. The first part deals with construction, principles of function and speed-torque characteristics of the motors. Furthermore, a mathematical model of an asynchronous motor in Matlab-Simulink program is created in order to make a possibility to test any type of motor and check all parameters, which is more economical than testing real objects. The second part of the work contains an overall summary of asynchronous motor control methods.
Vibration diagnostics of electrical machines
Hlaváček, Tomáš ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with the influence simulated unbalance vibration level asynchronous motor. First is focused introduction to the problem of vibration. Another part is introduction with machine construction and vibrations in machines. Introduction with methods of measurement. The last part is vibration measurements with simulated imbalances.
Wireless control of induction machine.
Frelich, David ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
This master's thesis is interested in concept of frequency converter for induction machine to power 2 kW. Control of this converter is wirelessly or via PC. The solution is based on execution with integrated circuits and microprocesors to control them.
