Design of a chopper-stabilized multipath operational amplifier
Mrázek, Petr ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The main content of this work is the theoretical and practical design of the chosen topology of the chopper-stabilized operational amplifier. The introductory part of the diploma thesis focuses on the theory of noise, offset and drift. In other parts of the work, the origin of these phenomena and the possibility of their elimination are investigated. Furthermore, individual topologies are also analyzed in the work, from which one is chosen, which is then analyzed theoretically. Another part of this work is focused on the block design of the chopper-stabilized operational amplifier, from which the design of the entire system is subsequently created. The last part of the theory is focused on simulating the behavior of the designed chopper-stabilized operational amplifier and comparing it with the theoretical design.
Active noise radiometry and its applications
Hudec, Marek ; Motúz, Rastislav (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyze the application of microwave noise field in active radiometry. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical description of physical processes that result in different types of noise signal. Furthermore, the properties of noise and noise field for which noise could have potential applications in radiometry are described. The principles of radiometry itself are then described, in which the mechanisms of electromagnetic wave propagation in material environments are explained, as well as the concept of the radiometer as a tool for measuring radiation of material objects. The first part of the work is concluded with the use of active radiometry in combination with a noise field. The second part of the thesis is focused on the design of a noise radiometry measurement system, in which the theoretical knowledge from the first part is applied. The design deals with the overall concept of the measurement system, the different configurations for measuring material properties, the design of the noise radiometer and the noise radiator. The possibilities of increasing the noise performance of the radiator are also discussed. The last section of the work is devoted to microwave noise tomography, its comparison with optical coherence tomography, and the Fabry-Perot interferometer as a tool for examining the profile of material structures using a noise field.
Feedback
Smolek, Adam ; Suchánek, Jiří (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is feedback, understood literally as a technical principle in the creation of an audiovisual work, but also as a general principle of reflexivity. In this way, the dramaturgical, curatorial and production activities of the author are included in the framework of the diploma thesis, which are understood not only as autonomous creative outputs, but also as feedback systems. The result of the work is an author's tool operating with image and sound data derived from records of completed projects in the field of creating exhibitions, cultural and musical events. On the one hand, the work seeks to evaluate the realized projects by shifting to the meta-level of the work of art, its output is the creation of an audiovisual tool itself, but the conceptual level of using the feedback mechanism to reflect on oneself in interpersonal relationships is also essential.
Noise control of needle bearings
Štetinová, Iveta ; Krejčí, Jakub (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the noise of needle bearings. By analysing the noise of the bearings, it is possible to find out the technical condition of the bearing and reveal the types of bearing damage. The beginning of the work is devoted to the theory of bearing noise. Vibration diagnosis methods are described. In the practical part, a manual noise meter is tested, and the investigated values are evaluated by a system for measuring the noise of bearings. The primary objective of this thesis is to find out how the noise of the bearings could be controlled more effectively.
Noise Protection from Sanitary Installations
Svoboda, David ; Berková, Petra ; Čupr, Karel
This review article deals with noise and vibration arising from the operation of sanitary installations – wastewater and freshwater plumbing. The first part describes the most commonly occurring sources of noise and vibration from such installations and possible ways of propagation. The second part sets out the measurement methodology and the differences in legislative requirements among countries. In the third part of the paper, principles of noise protection and modifications to sanitary installations are described.
Wind power plant
Šponiarová, Petra ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
The electricity production from renewable sources is a very current topic. It also includes the electricity made by wind power plants, which the bachelor’s thesis concentrates on. An extensive research study was conducted to provide an overview of wind turbine types. Concerning wind power plants, apart from their visual impact, noise and vibration connected to their operating is an often discussed issue. The construction of a wind turbine stands for the most important role in reducing such unwanted effects. Technical experiments following specific standards and recommendations are performed to assess the impact of wind turbines-emitted noise and vibration on humans. In order to assess noise and vibration of a wind turbine a technical experiment is proposed, which uses different approaches to determine the critical components. The selection of a suitable measuring equipment and the choice of location for its subsequent use are important parts of the design. At last, the use of wind power plants is critically reviewed.
Restoration of X-Ray Images with Geometric Blur
Sokol, Juraj ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis aims to compare various image restoration methods on x-ray images. These methods use point spread function to remove blur introduced in images. These methods are experimentally compared.
Noise Analysis of Basic Circuits for Analog Signal Processing
Humpolíková, Michaela ; Sládok, Ondřej (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
The cause of noise in analog circuits is a problem of quality in output signals. There are many reasons of its occurrence, noise is caused by components connected into the circuit, and the assembly itself. This bachelor thesis summarizes the theoretical knowledge about noise analysis. Noise measurement in circuits can now be calculated with PSpice, the results are used for the design of low noise circuits. In the contained practical analysis of the circuits were achieved the results for the suitable designing of low noise circuits.
Usage of transmission at electric vehicles
Běloušek, Ondřej ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
At first bachelor thesis divides different conceptions of electric vehicles with the aim to describe characteristic components which electric vehicles contain, and that make it different in comparison with conventional cars. From the principle of the electric vehicle it is obvious that electric energy which is necessary for electric drive must be stored and for this reason the batteries and important components are described. The next part is dedicated to the powertrain which is affected by the presence or absence of an internal combustion engine and its usage rate. Common feature is an electric machine which transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy, and which makes powertrain complete. Gearboxes used at electric vehicles are the next part which is affected by the type of power unit that they cooperate with. For that reason, one representative from each part is described. The representative of hybrid electric vehicles is planetary gear set of Toyota Prius 2010, representative of battery electric vehicles is one-speed transmission of Tesla cars and in the end the multi-speed transmission is mentioned because it is today´s trend. Because of the absence of an internal combustion engine for some types of electric vehicles, the noise and vibrations from gearbox come to the fore. The main source of the vibration is gears teeth contact and rattle of the other components. The last part of the thesis is focused on the design of a technical experiment that is suitable for measuring vibration and noise from two-speed automatic transmission. Firstly, the theoretical basis of measurement is described. The design itself takes into account the suitable measuring equipment, the right choice of components that realize closed loop and installation space of the acoustic chamber.
