Motor tests in handball: Analysis and comparison of international testing batteries and their results with Czech standards

Title: Motor tests in handball: Analysis and comparison of international testing batteries and their results with Czech standards Objectives: The main aim of this work was to conduct a review of international studies focused on the motor skills tests of youth handball players and to compare these inter- national tests with the test battery issued by the Czech Handball Association (CHA) to determine whether Czech motor tests are comparable to international standards. The secondary aim was to compare the results of these tests with the results achieved in the Czech environment, specifically in the youth training center in Prague. Methods: The conducted research analyzed various aspects of motor skills, such as speed, strength, endurance, coordination, and mobility. The analyzed motor tests and their results were captured in tables and were compared with tests from the CHF test battery using a frequency table. A secondary comparison with the research test results was made using the arithmetic mean, specifically comparing the motor test results from the Prague youth training center. The influence of strength training on throwing speed in handball players aged 11 to 13

Title: The impact of strength training on throwing speed in handball players aged 11-13 years. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to assess the impact of strength training on goal shooting in handball players. Methods: This is an experimental study that utilizes methods of measurement, intervention, and comparison between two groups - control and experimental. The speed of shots at the goal was measured using radar equipment, and the height of vertical jumps using the Optojump device. In total, two measurements were taken. The first measurement of both groups was conducted before the intervention, which was undertaken only by the experimental group. The second measurement of both groups took place after the completion of the intervention, which lasted once a week for 8 weeks. The resulting data were finally processed and evaluated using the T-test and effect size. Results: The experimental group showed significant improvement in shooting speed on goal, the control group did not exhibit any significant changes. Sport hall and its facilities for the elementary school Hudcova 35, Brno

The subject of the thesis is the design of the SPORTS HALL AND ITS FACILITIES FOR THE PRIMARY SCHOOL HUDCOVA 35, BRNO. The diploma thesis directly follows on from the developed urban planning study from subject AG056 - Pre-diploma project. The elaborated architectural study deals with the object of the sports hall and its facilities serving primarily elementary school students, fans of recreational sports, but also the general public. The addressed area is located in the Brno-Medlánky district. The building plot is spread over a slightly sloping terrain. The plot itself is currently surrounded by mostly flat fields, pastures and a historical park. The study of the sports hall, as well as the urban study of the territory, respects the surrounding terrain and the natural character of the landscape. It simultaneously recognizes pedestrian and traffic communication directions and connections to the immediate surroundings. The proposed hall together with the background, a tribune for 300 spectators, a multifunctional hall and a clubhouse with a buffet has the shape of a pure block cut into the terrain. It uses materials such as wood, glass and concrete. It consists of 3 floors and an entrance mezzanine. The balance between the proposed sports hall, the expression of respect for the current natural scenery and terrain relief is taken into account in the architectural expression of the entire object.
Management of sports clubs

This bachelor thesis on the topic of " Management of sports clubs" focuses on the management of two specific handball clubs, DKH Slavoj Žirovnice and Házená Jindřichův Hradec. The aim of this work is to evaluate the management of the two mentioned clubs and to propose recommendations for improving their current state. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the definition and clarification of basic concepts in the field of management, sports management, specifics of non-profit organizations, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sports industry. The practical part focuses on the characterization and analysis of the current state of both clubs through a questionnaire survey for the club players and structured interviews with the club management. Based on the methods used, recommendations are formulated for both clubs, which, if implemented and introduced, can lead to improvements in the functioning of both clubs. The thesis also compares the two clubs, using the bench-marking method for comparison.

The bachelor thesis Marketing of the Selected Sport Institution deals with the analysis of contemporary marketing state of the handball club Handball KP Brno and aims to propose suggestions for its improvement. The theoretical part introduces the subject matter of sports marketing and describes types of analyses such as PEST, Porter‘s five competitive forces and SWOT analysis that are used later on in the thesis. The suggestions for future practical use are based and created on conducting these analyses.
Information System of a Handball Club

This thesis deals with the creation of an information system for a handball club. The information system is created as a web application implemented in PHP and using the Laravel framework. The thesis aims to create such an information system that will save administrative work for the representatives of the handball club and help them in leading the club. All functionality resulting from the real needs of the handball club. The main functions of the system are the registration of player statistics in matches, registration for club events and the registration of expenditure documents. The system was successfully created and tested.
Methods of prevention in hyperextension trauma to the elbow of the handball goalkeeper

Title: Methods of prevention in hyperextension trauma to the elbow of the handball goalkeeper. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to determine whether the muscle strengthening exercises stabilizers of the elbow affect the stability of the elbow joint and also draw attention to the issue of hyperextension trauma to the elbow joint of the handball goalkeeper. Another objective is to evaluate the possibility of prevention of hyperextension trauma to the elbow joint of the handball goalkeeper. Methods: Rating angular deviations observed in the elbow before and after completing the intervention. Deviations were recorded using a 3D analysis system Qualysis and were processed in software Qualisys Track Manager. Results: Strengthening the dynamic stabilizers of the elbow helps to improve stability of the elbow joint load into hyperextension. Active exercise can be used as a possible prevention of hyperextension trauma to the elbow joint of handball goalkeepers. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of teaching handball in physical education classes at the second level of elementary schools and multi-year high schools in the Prague region. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the concept of teaching handball within the Framework Educational Program, school physical education, rules and didactics of handball. The practical part is devoted to mapping and subsequent comparison of teaching and school equipment for teaching school handball at elementary schools and multi-year high schools in the Prague region, through a questionnaire survey.

Title: Perception and realization of condition training in youth category in handball Objectives: The aim of bachelor thesis is to find out how is a conditional training implemented in young category under 14 years old Methods: For collecting data was used anonymous questionnaire which was extended by Czech Handball Federation across many trainers from category under 14 years old Results: Conditional training has more space in clubs with higher status than in clubs with smaller status by Czech handbal federation. Conditional training is created by head coaches and conditional training is used in form of mini-blocks in handbal training.
