A Debugging Tool for Vulkan API
Bilko, Jozef ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create a debugging tool for 2D/3D Vulkan applications, this tool can be useful for the veterans and the newcomers of this graphics API. The output program is composed of a code generator for the layer, the layer itself which collects the data from the currently analyzed program and an application where the collected data are displayed. All this is made possible with the use of C++, Vulkan API and ImGui library.
Universal Framework for Experiments with 3D Displaying Devices
Hlávka, Marek ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
Devices displaying three-dimensional images are becoming more and more common in everyday life, and therefore it is necessary to ensure the best quality of the displayed space. This thesis deals with comparing the effectiveness of various methods of virtual reality display today, such as stereoscopic or holographic displays. It also deals with design, implementation, and publication of a framework that allows for the comparison and testing of such devices. The framework is created in the Unity game engine, mostly using scripts in the C# language. Thanks to the framework, it is easier and more efficient to compare different types or specific variations of devices for displaying the three-dimensional images. The published framework is available as open-source.
Web apps suporting education in computer graphics
Jalovecký, Denis ; Švento, Michal (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
Master's Thesis focuses on creating three dynamic and interactive applications in JavaScript, serving as educational tools for courses centered around the creation and processing of image signals. The first application will represent a parametric curve in 3D space. The second application will explore barycentric coordinates of a 3D triangle, and the third will illustrate the Bayer filter in the context of digital photography creation.
Water Surface Visualization
Kliš, Michal ; Vlnas, Michal (referee) ; Starka, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to investigate and implement methods for real-time simulation and visualization of large water bodies. The knowledge gained from the research is further exploited in the implementation of a specific application used for ocean simulation. Among the methods discussed is the spectral method. The text will offer the reader, in addition to the actual introduction to this method, various insights to focus on in its implementation.
Presentations Making Blender add-on
Animated Graphics Model
Mikšaník, Martin ; Kučiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with demonstrations of infrequently used optical phenomena in computer graphics, specifically fluorescence and dispersion of light. The work also proposes a different approach at working with light, material and its rendering. The resulting design is implemented in the attached interactive demonstration program.
Retrospective Game for Two Players
Vybíral, Jan ; Bartoš, Pavel (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the development of a 2D space arcade computer game. The introduction describes the history and current status of the game industry and computer graphics. Then the text deals with the libraries OpenGL and SDL chosen for development, design of game principles, realization of graphics and audio, collision system, user interface, controls and the object oriented design of the application. The second part gives an account of the implementation of the designed system in the C++ programming language. Finally the thesis contains information about the testing and evaluation of the final product.
Virtual blackboard
Smyček, Libor ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
This thesis deals with graphic information processing methods in relation to drawing application. It also defines theorems for geometric primitives operations on plane. The second part includes analysis and implementation of vitrual blackboard for usage at elementary and hight schools.
Interactive 3D Terrain Editor
Hulva, Jiří ; Vanek, Juraj (referee) ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to design and implement an interactive 3D terrain editor. The application should be able to create three-dimensional model of a terrain from input data, display it and allow free movement in displayed scene. Users should be provided with tools for editing heightmaps and surface textures. There should be option to load models of objects, like buildings or vegetation and place them on chosen locations.
Techniques of Real-Time Shadow Rendering
Kudlač, Boris ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create complete overview about existing techniques for real-time shadow computation in computer graphics. It describes theory of each technique and it's algorithm, as well as implementation details and practical usage. It completely informs about each technique features, problems, extensions, advantages and disadvantages for different situations and asks a question, if there is one all-solving shadow technique suitable for all purposes. In the end, the thesis compares all the techniques in their features, limitations and hardware usage.
