Attacking players were outnumbered in 133 actions and had an even number of players in 75 actions. The duration of the actions was only up to 10 seconds in 155 cases. The majority of actions were finished by a forward (119). The most balanced category was the direction of attack, with similar numbers for each category: wing areas (66), center (71), and...
The role of the evil and the good sister in Perrault's fairy tales
Ciprová, Hana ; Fučíková, Milena (advisor) ; Listíková, Renáta (referee)
v anglickém jazyce This bachelor's thesis deals with ways of conception of the role of evil and kind sister in the fairy tales written by well-known French author Charles Perrault. These ways are compared with methods of current writer Patrick Chamoiseau. The goal of this thesis is to show the identical traits by using analytical and subsequent comparative method. These identical features were revealed on the basis of work with fairytale texts Cendrillon ou La petite pantoufle en verre, Les fées and La Barbe Bleue in Czech translation Popelka aneb Skleněný střevíček, Víly and Modrovous. These attributes become the main criterions of comparison of achieved results with elements which can be found in a fairy tale called La plus belle est à l'en-bas de la baille in Czech translation Nejhezčí je pod žlabem. This study aspires to answer the question if it is possible to declare these three mentioned fairy tales written by Charles Perrault as a possible source of inspiration how to understand characters of kind and evil sister in work of Patrick Chamoiseau. The following part of this thesis is a brief insight into the issue of fairy tales including presentation of up to now research and the difficulties which this genre provides. On the basis of this work, it is possible to consider the methods of...

Title: Motor tests in handball: Analysis and comparison of international testing batteries and their results with Czech standards Objectives: The main aim of this work was to conduct a review of international studies focused on the motor skills tests of youth handball players and to compare these inter- national tests with the test battery issued by the Czech Handball Association (CHA) to determine whether Czech motor tests are comparable to international standards. The secondary aim was to compare the results of these tests with the results achieved in the Czech environment, specifically in the youth training center in Prague. Methods: The conducted research analyzed various aspects of motor skills, such as speed, strength, endurance, coordination, and mobility. The analyzed motor tests and their results were captured in tables and were compared with tests from the CHF test battery using a frequency table. A secondary comparison with the research test results was made using the arithmetic mean, specifically comparing the motor test results from the Prague youth training center. Results: The comparison showed that Czech tests correspond to international standards in many respects, but certain differences were also identified, which could be valuable for further improvement of training methods in...
Czechoslovak Pop as a Tool of Propaganda: A Case Study of the Music Magazine Melodie between 1971 and 1973
Hamáčková, Eliška ; Hroch, Miloš (advisor) ; Bednařík, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the significance of popular music as a means of state ideology to strengthen power against the background of the events of the late 1960s and 1970s in Czechoslovakia. Specifically, the normalization period between 1971-1973 is analyzed in the pages of the music monthly Melodie. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the influence of mass media, the criticism of mass culture and the characteristics of popular culture in communist Czechoslovakia. The methodological part defines an analytical strategy to identify white and black propaganda in Melodie magazine. The applied research method is hermeneutic content analysis of media messages. The analytical part focuses on the identification of propaganda elements in selected articles of Melodie magazine. The reflection on music production during the normalization period in Czechoslovakia included a variety of approaches and attitudes towards popular music. In the media messages examined, popular music appears predominantly as a stabilizing element for socialism. This thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of popular music in socialist Czechoslovakia.
Research of image of professional darts players
Veleba, Vojtěch ; Viplerová, Tereza (advisor) ; Ruda, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Research of image of professional darts players Objectives: The main aim of this work is to analyse the general factors influencing the image of athletes in the darts industry, to evaluate how these factors contribute to the formation of the image of a professional darts player and to create recommendations for athletes in the darts industry how to effectively influence and improve their own image. Methods: The work uses a quantitative method of electronic survey. The questionnaire was constructed based on the MABI (model of athlete brand image) and was suitably modified and supplemented to fit the questions into the darts environment. Data collection took place in May 2024 and statistical methods were used for evaluation. Results: The results show that the image of athletes is very subjective, and everyone may like something different about athletes. However, it can be argued that factors such as logo, player performance or physical fitness do not play as big a role in the darts environment in building the image of players as physical attractiveness, relationship with fans or choice of walk on song. Keywords: athlete brand image, darts, professional darts players, darts fans, analysis, marketing research
Trust between the workers of People and Roma clients.
Göttelová, Agáta ; Spalová, Barbora (advisor) ; Procházková, Barbora (referee)
Within the European Union, the Czech Roma minority faces one of the highest levels of discrimination. However, the approach of social workers who help Romani people solve problems caused by this discrimination has its specificities. Building trust in the relationship between the social worker and the Romanui client is one of the essential requirements for successful social work. My bachelor's thesis focuses on the relationship between a social worker and a Romani client, with an emphasis on trust. The theoretical part describes the concepts of social work, trust, and the Roma population. Furthermore, these concepts are interconnected, thus I describe trust in the context of social work, Romani clients in social work, and trust within the Roma population.Additionally, my work addresses two research questions - Research Question 1: How does trust manifest, build, and transfer within the context of social work with Romani clients? and Research Question 2: How does social work adapt to the cultural contexts of Romani clients? In the analytical part of the work, I analyze data obtained through semi-structured interviews and participant observation in selected services, primarily in a low-threshold facility for children and youth and in a preschool club. For ethical concerns, I am not mentioning the...
Analysis of selected goalkeeping activities at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar
Mareš, Petr ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Frýbort, Pavel (referee)
Name: Analysis of selected goalkeeping activities at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar Objectives: Analysis of selected offensive and defensive goalkeeping activities at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, held in the autumn of 2022. Methods: The research sample consisted of goalkeepers from the four best-placed teams who participated in the matches at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The top teams included Argentina, France, Croatia, and Morocco. Results: We hypothesized that the overall success rate in the activity "playing with feet" (evaluated using "% success") would be higher than 56% for goalkeepers from all teams. This was not confirmed, as French goalkeepers achieved only a 53% success rate in passing. We also hypothesized that goalkeepers would make the most saves from shots taken inside the penalty area compared to other categories (g > 0.8). This was confirmed, as the category of shots inside the penalty area was significantly higher compared to other categories, with Hedges' g > 0.8. Lastly, we evaluated the insignificant differences (g ≤ 0.8) in the frequency of the parameter "distance of all types of passes" between the categories "short, medium, long." This was also confirmed, as the differences between the categories were not highly significant, with none of the categories exceeding 0.8g....

Kučerka, Andrej ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Vampola, Jindřich (referee)
Tittle: Analysis of standard kick-off situations in soccer goalkeepers at different ages Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the standard goal kick situation and compare their frequency and successness between different categories Methods: The scientific method of indirect observation through video recording was used to carry out this work. Based on the observation of the matches of three different teams in different clubs and age categories, an analysis of the success rate of setting up an attack during a kick from goal was carried out. Results: We tracked the frequency and successness rate of standard kick-off situations and compared three categories - U18, U19 and men. The results were surprising, as the youth categories exceeded expectations in establishing an attack on a kick from goal compared to the world-class A- team. For U18 and U19, we found that central defenders were more likely to be in the penalty area (U18: 88 %, U19: 91 %) than out of the penalty area when taking a kick from goal. In contrast, for the senior team, FC Sevilla had 71 % of central defenders positioned outside the penalty area. The positioning of the opponent's attackers showed that the defenders - the opponent's attackers - were outside the zones designated for setting up (65%), while the youth...
Strength Analysis of Turbocharger Rotor of Stationary Internal Combustion Engine
Kejval, Dan ; Kudláček, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Turbocharger rotors are highly stressed components exposed to significant thermo-mechanical loads. This thesis provides a literature review of this issue concerning turbocharger rotors and focuses on the thermal field analysis and structural analysis of the turbocharger rotor of a stationary internal combustion engine under different steady-state operating conditions, especially under maximum thermo-mechanical load. The analysis was conducted using Ansys Mechanical software, which allows for the calculation of the thermal field as well as the identification and evaluation of critical areas of the rotor using the finite element method. The result of the thesis is an assessment of the rotor's safety, including the risk of loosening the rings preloaded on the rotor shaft.
