The bachelor thesis deals with changes in consumer behaviour when buying food and non-alcoholic beverages. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify factors that influence consumer behaviour when buying food and non-alcoholic beverages, identify what factors are influencing consumers today, compare the resulting data with historical studies that have been conducted in this area and propose recommendations for Czech retailers in the food and non-alcoholic beverage market. The data were obtained using quantitative research and were processed in Microsoft Excel and Statistica. The results from the questionnaire survey showed that the factors of necessity, quality and previous experience have the greatest influence on consumers.

Semelová, K. Proposal of on-line communication strategy for wine e-shop. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2021. The bachelor's thesis deals with the proposal of marketing communication on the Internet for the e-shop tvojevino.cz. The thesis includes an analysis of the consumption and import of wine to the Czech Republic. The work analyzes the internal and external environment of trade. The knowledge obtained from the questionnaire survey was used to design a communication strategy. The questionnaire survey focused on consumer and shopping behavior among respondents from the Czech Republic. The resulting strategy contains recommendations that can be used to promote e-shop on the internet and increase business profits. The final part of the thesis deals with the possible effects of anti-pandemic precaution on trade sales.

This bachelor's thesis explores the role of organic food packaging design, especially focused on pointing out the attractive elements of the packaging. The theoretical section describes the elementary knowledge and definitions from related literature. In the practical section a marketing survey was carried out in form of a questionnaire in order to find out what role packaging design plays in consumers' purchasing decisions. Further, it explores the attitude of Czech consumers towards organic food, it reveals their awareness of this healthy food and also reveals the frequency and selection of their organic food purchases. The conclusion contains the survey results that establish the key factors and concrete criteria which would lead to increased consumer interest in these products and which the producers of the packaging should consider. These results are compared with the secondary data in the discussion section.
Consumer preferences of adolescents in the field of sports nutrition

Title: Consumer preferences of adolescents in the field of sports nutrition Objectives: The objective of this work is to define factors that influence the behavior of adolescent consumers during the process of purchasing sports supplements. Methods: Data were obtained through quantitative research. Specifically, the method of electronic questioning was used for this work. Subsequently, a statistical evaluation of collected information was performed. Results: According to results of the research dietary supplements are regularly used by up to 75 % of adolescents aged 14-24 years (n = 237). The remaining participants simply do not recognize the need to buy these products or have never even thought about it, hence do not look for them at all. The most popular dietary supplements used by this age group are vitamins, minerals and protein supplements. Adolescents look for them mainly in order to boost their immunity, sports performance and to speed up the regeneration process. On the contrary, the research did not show a significant influence of doctors and other experts on dietary supplement consumption. Young people's consumer behavior is influenced mostly by their immediate surroundings, family, friends or by themselves. Results showed that adolescent consumers are mainly looking for quality products...

This diploma thesis deals with consumer behaviour towards private label brands. The main objective of this diploma thesis is to identify factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions of private label food products. This thesis also describes consumer attitudes towards private label brands and consumer preferences. Primary data (n=609) was collected through a questionnaire survey in March, April 2017 in the Czech Republic. The data was processed using the software Statistica 12. The quantitative survey was supplemented with in-depth interviews with consumers (n=20). The survey results allowed to formulate marketing recommendations for retailers which could be practically used.

This diploma thesis deals with consumer behaviour on the children´s clothing market under 3 years of age. The aim of this thesis is to propose recommenda-tions for entities operating on the children´s clothing market in the Czech Repub-lic. Thesis focuses on identification of factors which affect the preferences of con-sumers, their testimonies and describe their purchase decision process. To inves-tigate consumer behaviour on the children´s clothing market, a questionnaire survey was used, which attended by 355 respondents. The quantitative survey was complemented with in-depth interviews (n = 30). Based on the research, rec-ommendations were formulated related to the phases of the purchase decision process.

The aim of the diploma thesis was to penetrate the segment of people who like the DIY construction, characterize it and subsequently suggest recommendations how to address this segment with the offer of products and services. Data was collected via online questionnaire survey (n = 305) and in-depth interviews (n = 30). Descriptive statistics and calculation of dependencies were employed. The final rec-ommendations were subsequently implemented in a case study.

The main objective of this thesis is to identify factors that influence consumer behaviour within the confectionery. This goal is achieved through market analysis, quantitative research, qualitative research and cluster analysis. The result of the work is the behaviour of consumers in individual segments and the determination of marketing recommendations for the subjects in the market for these sweets.

This diploma thesis deals with consumer behaviour towards private label food brands. The main objective of this diploma thesis is to identify factors that influence con-sumer purchasing decisions of private label food products. This thesis also describes consumer attitudes towards private label food brands and consumer preferences. In the diploma thesis there are used the techniques of marketing research, namely questionnaire sur-vey (N=409) and cluster analysis. The output of the questionnaire survey highlighted customer‘s most influencing factors, such as experience, percieved quality and price. Another output of this thesis are characteristics of market segments and the recom-mendation for the subject operating on the private-label market.
