The influence of activation activities to adaptation of seniors in institutional care
Novotná, Valentýna ; Nová, Monika (advisor) ; Bravená, Noemi (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of adaptation of seniors to residential social services and, as part of a research investigation, examining the influence of activation activities on this process from the point of view of facility staff. Using the active method of the semi-structured process of successful care, the author concludes that active activities largely belong to the client's adaptation to the new institutional environment. The output of the work is then a methodological list designed for the needs of facility workers who implement adaptation groups.
Monitoring heart rate dynamics in rhythmic gymnastics group exercises
Kheilová, Andrea ; Holá, Iveta (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: Monitoring heart rate dynamics in groups of rhythmic gymnastics. Objectives: The aim of work is monitoring heart rate dynamics in groups of rhythmic gymnastics in two different periods and in the competition. Subsequent comparison of measured results and their comparison within each period for one competitor and within all competitors in individual periods. Methods: For the research we used the method of measuring heart rate dynamics using a Garmin sporttester. The results were then subjected to examination and further compared and processed using statistical methods. Results: During the research, it was found that the stress exerted on the gymnasts during the competition significantly affected the values of their heart rate compared to the rest of the measurements that were made in training conditions. Keywords: rhythmic gymnastics, heart rate, stress, load, groups, sporttester
The Effect of the Exercise program on Seniors with Specific needs
Belicová, Eliška ; Černá, Jana (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: The effect of the exercise program on seniors with specific needs Objectives: The main objective of this study us to determine the effectiveness of a newly developer gymnastics program on the functional fitness of individual members of a selected group of seniors. Methods: The research takes the form of a quasi-experiment with pretest and posttest measurements. The methods of data collection were senior fitness test: the chair stand test, biceps curl test, the chair sit and reach test, the back scratch test, the 2.45-m up-and-go test around and field tests: 2kg weight throw and one leg stand. An online questionnaire was an additional method. Data analysis was provided by descriptive statistics. Results: Participants were tested in 5 tests that were part of Senior fitness test and 2 field tests. The results of the posttest showed that after completing the gymnastic movement program, individuals increased their fitness level. There was a 64,51 % percentage change in the first test. In the second test there was an improvement of 48,24 %. In the third test there was an average improvement of 17,16 %. In the fourth test there was an improvement of 11,11 %. In the fifth test, there was a 9,60 % improvement in percentage terms. In the first field test, there was a percentage change of 109,75 %. In...
The effect of cold exposure on regeneration in skeletal muscle
Novotná, Veronika ; Kašík, Petr (advisor) ; Vašek, Daniel (referee)
Cold is a stressful stimulus to which the body responds with an extensive physiological response, making it important to understand its complex effects. Skeletal muscle is an important thermoregulatory organ and helps maintain a constant body temperature by both shivering and non-shivering thermogenesis. At the same time, it has a considerable regenerative capacity that is modulated by the inflammatory immune response. This paper summarizes the effects of cold on skeletal muscle regeneration and the inflammatory response that is triggered after intense exercise or skeletal muscle injury. The inflammatory response is essential for the successful completion of skeletal muscle regeneration, and if it is impaired, it can have a negative effect on muscle tissue recovery. The balance between the pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory phases of the immune response, which is determined by the presence of specific immune cell populations and cytokine release, is crucial. Cold exposure is generally accepted as an effective strategy to improve skeletal muscle regeneration, but the molecular basis of this effect is not fully understood, and thus the observation of the effect of cold on skeletal muscle regeneration is still a actual topic. Keywords: cold exposure, inflammation, skeletal muscle, regeneration,...

Assessing Economic Situation of a Company and Proposals for Its Improvement
Rybár, Tomáš ; Novotná, Veronika (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of the economic situation of Prefa Brno a.s. and possible suggestions for improving its performance. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the explanation of the concepts of financial and statistical analysis. These concepts are then applied in the analytical part. From the financial analysis, the difference and ratio indicators are evaluated, supplemented by a set of indicators. Regression analysis is performed on selected ratios with a forecast for the following period and correlation analysis is used to identify the interrelationships between them. Conclusions are drawn from the results, which are used to formulate possible measures to improve the current economic situation of the entity under study.

Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Company Management
Hrkeĺ, Jan ; Šustrová, Tereza (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis and proposal of improvements to existing processes in a selected company using mathematical and statistical methods. This is achieved on the basis of digitalization and automation of invoice processing processes in the selected company in order to increase competitiveness in a dynamic business environment. Due to the high costs and risks associated with traditional manual invoice processing, the enterprise decided to switch to a modern digital solution. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first of which outlines the theoretical foundations that are the key treasure trove for the subsequent detailed analysis of the current state of invoice processing. Next, key issues are identified and an effective solution is proposed using Microsoft's SharePoint, Power Apps and Power BI technologies. The implementation of the proposed solution brings significant benefits to the business, including reduced operational costs, increased accuracy of invoice data, and freeing up human resources for other tasks.
