Design of a chopper-stabilized multipath operational amplifier
Mrázek, Petr ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The main content of this work is the theoretical and practical design of the chosen topology of the chopper-stabilized operational amplifier. The introductory part of the diploma thesis focuses on the theory of noise, offset and drift. In other parts of the work, the origin of these phenomena and the possibility of their elimination are investigated. Furthermore, individual topologies are also analyzed in the work, from which one is chosen, which is then analyzed theoretically. Another part of this work is focused on the block design of the chopper-stabilized operational amplifier, from which the design of the entire system is subsequently created. The last part of the theory is focused on simulating the behavior of the designed chopper-stabilized operational amplifier and comparing it with the theoretical design.
Uninterruptible Power Supply
Mrázek, Petr ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and associated problems of backup power in case of unexpected outages of electricity. Start of work is dedicated to limitation of the electricity supplies, as well as their causes and consequences. Furthermore, brief history of UPS and subsequently distinguish between UPS’s architectures. There is also a description of the energy sources such as batteries, flywheels or fuel cells. Part of thesis describes security of electricity supply in health care facilities, including requirements for emergency power. The own design of UPS is described in the end.
Design of the latched comparator and its comparison with an opamp like comparator
Mrázek, Petr ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The main content of this work is the design of four basic topologies of latched comparators and opamp like comparator. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis deals with the description, comparison and principles of operation of comparators such as opamp like comparator and latched comparators. In the practical part of this work is firstly performed the design of all the mentioned topologies of switched comparators and comparator of the operational amplifier type. Subsequently, they are compared with each other mainly in terms of their speed, accuracy, amount of kickback noise and consumption. At the end of the practical part, the design of these four basic topologies of switched comparators have been performed again, but already with the techniques for reduction of kickback noise applied to them. The whole work is concluded by the evaluation of individual acquired knowledge.
Resuscitation and AED
Mrázek, Petr ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the techniques of resuscitation as well as its history and advanced options. First aid is mentioned only marginally because it isn’t the main purpose of this study. Recommendations for resuscitation are changed every 5 years. Therefore the texts are primarily based on the recommendations of the Guidelines 2010. Other chapters and subchapters focus on the effects of electrical currents on human tissues and on the closely related topic of defibrillators. The automated external defibrillator (AED) is described in more detail due to the assignment of this thesis. It also includes a description of the defibrillation pulse generator and the teaching presentation which describes the AED resuscitation procedure.

Decision Support Methods in a Medical Application
Mrázek, Petr ; Květoňová, Šárka (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
{The diploma thesis is dealing with the present medical application extension by the means for decision support. The first part of the work is focused on the general problem of data warehouses, OLAP and the data mining. The second part attends to the very proposal and implementation of the extension in the form of the very application, which enables executing OLAP analysis upon the gathered medical data.
Parental Mode in KDE
Mrázek, Petr ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This work describes the KAuthorized and KAuth authorization interfaces, which are based on the KConfig configuration system and PolicyKit authorization system, respectively. KAuth is integrated into KAuthorized and tests of this integration are implemented, along with a tool that converts the KConfig-based settings to PolicyKit. During the testing phase, a local Denial of Service attack on PolicyKit is discovered. The second part of the work decribes the port of the PolicyKit tool to KDE~4 and the improvement of its user interface.
Lathe machines with vertical rotary axis
Mrázek, Petr ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with description and classification of vertical lathe machines. All content is organized into several chapters. The introduction is concerned with history and basis of the turning. Next part describes basic types of vertical lathe machines and important manufacturers. In the end of bachelor´s thesis is simple calculation of the gear pump.
