Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rešerší,popisem a roztříděním soustružnických strojů se svislou osu rotace. Celý obsah je uspořádán do několika kapitol. Úvodem je zkráceně popsána historie a podstata soustružení. Navazující část popisuje rozdělení svislých soustruhů, dále pak zde uvádím několik na trhu podstatných výrobců svislých soustruhů. Na konci bakalářské práce je jednoduchý výpočet zubového čerpadla používaného jako součást systému mazání. The bachelor’s thesis deals with description and classification of vertical lathe machines. All content is organized into several chapters. The introduction is concerned with history and basis of the turning. Next part describes basic types of vertical lathe machines and important manufacturers. In the end of bachelor´s thesis is simple calculation of the gear pump.
