Design of caravan
Kozel, Martin ; Karásek, David (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design of caravan. The proposal includes the ergonomics and technical requirements relevant to the topic and seeks a solution with the original shape. The conceptual idea is to provide facilities for camping outside the home and the possibility of combining several units into a functional complex with the help of retractable awnings.

Long term outcome of patients after myocardial infarction with bioresorbable vascular scaffold implantation
Kozel, Martin ; Toušek, Petr (advisor) ; Zemánek, David (referee) ; Branny, Marian (referee)
Background: A higher rate of bioresorbable vascular scaffold (BVS) thrombosis has been observed after device implantation compared to implantation of permanent metallic stents in recently published studies. The mechanism of BVS thrombosis is currently under debate. Aim: To assess whether the immune-inflammatory response after BVS implantation is a potential trigger of BVS thrombosis. Methods and results: The PRAGUE-19 study was an academic study that enrolled consecutive patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) with the intention to implant a BVS. A laboratory sub-study included 49 patients with an implanted BVS (of which 38 underwent the complete 2-year follow-up and 44 5-year telephone follow-up) and 52 patients as the control group having an implanted permanent metallic stent (of which 30 underwent the complete 2-year follow-up and 44 5-year telephone follow-up). Samples for inflammatory markers (high sensitivity C-reactive protein [hs-CRP], interleukin-6 [IL-6] and tumor necrosis factor-alpha [TNF-α]) were taken before BVS or stent implantation, on days 1 and 2 after device implantation and at 1 month and 2 years of a clinical control. The primary combined clinical endpoint of the sub-study (death, reinfarction or target vessel revascularization) occurred in 14.29 % of...

Vliv seřízení sklízecí mlátičky na sklizňové ztráty
Kozel, Martin
This thesis deals with the influence of combine harvester setting on harvest losses and it aims on individual components of combine harvesters. The principles of tangential and axial threshing mechanisms are described. Separator rotors and straw walker principles are analysed in the part of remaining grain separation. Also the cleaning mechanisms are mentioned and clarified. Theoretical part finishes by the description of combine harvester settings impact on harvest losses. The influence of combine harvester settings on harvest losses were verified by experimental measurement. The change of threshing mechanism and ground speed were realized with subsequent monitoring of cleaning and grain separation losses. Finally the calibration of controlled engine choking was investigated for the material flow monitoring.

Group dynamics of school class
Kozel, Martin ; Soukup, Petr (advisor) ; Kotík, Michal (referee)
This work focuses on clasroom group dynamics and it's aim is to develop a comprehensive concept (model), which will be able to explain the socio-psychological processes within the class. It could be used for diagnostic purposes (measurement) and intervention. The author first defines the group dynamics as a field of forces aiming to reach goals, or preventing their fulfillment. Based on three sources of literature (research of small groups, pedagogical understanding of group dynamics and psychoterapeutiacl understanding of group dynamics) the author describes all reflected forces in group dynamics. Based on in-depth interviews with seven experts,he creates seven different perspectives on the context and choses the key forces of the group dynamics. By a synthesis of the information sources, the author creates the final model. It's validity due to data and potential future use is discussed.
