Overweight and obesity and active lifestyle of school children

Work title: Overweight and obesity and active lifestyle of school children Work goal: Evaluation of the school youth's lifestyle, evaluation of the physical activity and diet of the overweight or obese children. Work methodology: 124 children - 11 and 12 years old (66 boys - 53,2 % and 58 girls - 46,8 %) were investigated to get the information about their lifestyles, physical activities and diet through The Interrogatory 6. CAV 2001 for children and youth, which was modified for my diploma work. Results: The experimental file includes 8,1 % of underweight children, 71,8 % of children with normal body weight, 18,5 % of overweight children and 1,6 % of the obese ones. 39,5 % of children spend 0 to 2 hours a week doing sport activities, 36,3 % spend 3 to 5 hours a week, 16,9 % spend 6 to 7 hours a week and 7,3 % spend 7 and more hours a week doing sports. 75,8 % of the observed children have breakfast, 95,2 % have a snack at school, 87,9 % have warm meal for lunch at school, 66,9 % have a snack in the afternoon and 79,0 % regularly eat fruit and vegetables. 76,0 % of overweight or obese children have wrong diet. 88,0 % of these children have little physical activity. Quality of life in renal transplant recipients and the possibilities of its affecting through different forms of intervention

Title: Quality of life in renal transplant recipients and the possibilities of its affecting through different forms of intervention. Aims: 1) To evaluate quality of life in renal transplant recipients and compare it with that of the general population. 2) To analyze effects of a 6 months controlled intervention exercise program, special diet, combination of special diet and exercise program and control group on the health related quality of life and to compare results between groups. Methods: We studied a composite group of 21 patients (mean age 58,4 9,34 years) after renal transplantation. Patients were randomly divided into four groups, each group had different program, as described above. The assessment of the quality of life was performed twice, before and after six months of a regular intervention program. We used standardized questionnaires KDQOL-SFTM . We have also assessed the importance of individual dimensions of quality of life with questionnaire WHOQOL - 100. Introduction : Chronic renal failure and dialysis treatment can cause varying degrees of complications. Most often, those are cardiovascular complications. There is demonstrated the impact of these complications in musculoskeletal system, especially in the area of physical condition. The importance of physical activity defined volume and intensity in patients with chronic renal failure treated with peritoneal dialysis, is particular in the prevention and prevention of possible negatives arising from the treatment and the disease itself. The own disease also has a big impact on the quality of life for dialysis patients and their loved ones. Objective: The influence of the three-month physical intervention on the musculoskeletal system, physical fitness and quality of life in peritoneal dialysed individuals. Methods of solution: We observed a group of mixed peritoneal dialysis patients from the Clinic of Nephrology TC IKEM Prague. Title: Quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure treated with peritoneal dialysis. Objectives: Evaluate quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure treated with peritoneal dialysis. Propose possible ways to improve quality of life of peritoneally dialysed patients using movement activities. Methods: A total of 25 peritoneally dialysed patients of the PD ambulance of the 1st Clinic of Internal Medicine of the Faculty Hospital in Pilsen took part in the survey. Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) was evaluated using standardized questionnaires WHOQOL-BREF, WHOQOL-100, SF-36 and KDQOL-SFTM . The work and functional anamnesis questionnaire was made to evaluate the amount of movement activities that had been carried out. Results: We have noticed significantly better evaluation in WHOQOL-BREF in the domain aimed to evaluate the quality of life from the point of view of living conditions in comparison with healthy population. On the one hand, the quality of life in the domain of physical health is worse than in the healthy population, but on the other hand, it is better than in patients treated with haemodialysis. The diploma thesis deals with muskuloskeletal system disorders in hemodialysis pacients with chronic renal failure. Theoretic informations about the most frequent disorders of musculoskeletal system in uremic patients, patophysiologic consequences, clinical symptoms, posibility of investigations and common therapeutic management. Secondly this thesis interests about of annamnestic data, physiotherapeutic investigation and evaluation of the data. Aim of this study was supported importance of the physiotherapeutic intervention. Muscles' disharmony of the football players in the age of pupil category

Title: Museles disharmony at the football players in the age ofpupil category Generally speaking, problem of today's football players are persona! injuries. This is very annoying for everyone especially for soccer player because he cannot play for a long time, he comes off trainings and getting back to a good shape is very hard, slow-gaited and problematic. Objective: Diploma work is orientated to illuminate those difficulties and find the best solutions for prevention offootball's injuries. Groups and methods: Football players FK Dukla Praha was tested for muscles disharmonies. They are 14 years old. To test for muscles disharmony was used method by Janda (1996). The results were listed to the test. Results: The results are demonstrated, by regular stretching it is possible to eliminate muscles disharmonies. Discussion: Comparing with other results was similar like as results, which we performed by football players FK Dukla Praha. Conclusion: By regular compensation and stretching it is possible to eliminate muscles disharmony in any extent. Compensations and relax practises should be categorized regular to training process.
