Agenda-setting of the politics of fight against extremism
Charvátová, Julie ; Novotný, Vilém (advisor) ; Danics, Štefan (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to find the process of agenda-setting the politics of fight against extremism in the year 2009. The whole problems are researched on the basis of the Multiple Stream Theory by American scientist J. W. Kingdon and its particular modification by Nikolaos Zahariadis. This theory is based on the existence of three streams with independent development. That is problem stream, politics stream and policy stream. Under specific circumstances the three streams clash and in this case a policy window is going to be opened. Opening of the policy window is a sign for policy entrepreneurs who can influence the agenda-setting of new politics. Agenda setting takes place in the Windows called Coupling. In the context of agenda setting of the politics of fight against extremism the Problem Window is the most important. This window is created by various right wing extremist groups and its activity. The Politics Stream is created by the ideology of political parties and National Mood. The ideology of relevant political parties doesn't play any significant roles. The right wing political parties are included in the Problem Window and others relevant political parties have collective concern about rejection the manifestation of right extremism and they also have a unified interest on its...

Diploma thesis Abstract 52 Abstract Bioanalytical method development for the investigation of role of pyridoxal isonicotinoyl hydrazone in isoniazid intoxication II. Jana Charvátová Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control Heyrovského 1203, 500 05 Hradec Králové Keywords: isoniazid, vitamin B6, hydrazone, hydrophilic interaction chromatography HPLC/UV method was developed for analysis of isoniazid - INH, its main (acetylisoniazid - AcINH) and putative metabolites (pyridoxal isonicotinoyl hydrazone - PIH, pyridoxal isonikotinoyl hydrazone 5-phosphate - PIH5P), vitamins B6 (pyridoxine - PN, pyridoxal - PL and pyridoxal 5-phosphate - PLP) using ZIC-pHILIC stationary phase. The following parameters were modified to assess their impact on the retention of these compounds: composition of mobile phase, percentage content of organic solvent, buffer concentration, pH, flow rate of mobile phase and column temperature. The best available separation of the compounds was achieved using 10mM ammonium formate (pH 3) and ACN (40:60, v/v), flow rate 0.10 ml/min and column temperature 25 řC. Developed method was transferred to HPLC/ESI/MS. Experiments revealed that all analytes gave the higher signal in positive mode and the most abundant ions...

Charvátová, Jitka ; Josek, Jiří (referee) ; Jettmarová, Zuzana (advisor)
So far the filmic dialogue and its translation have been researched mainly from the perspective of the translator of the script, this approach being justified by the claim that the translator cannot manipulate any other but the verbal code. The nature of the audiovisual text, whether in its original or dubbed version, is, nevertheless, explicitly multimodal, and its complex meaning is coded on multiple level via diverse means. An important factor which makes audiovisual research complicated is the fact that the audiovisual text is essentially a teamwork determined by collaboration of many different people in different stages of its production. This thesis attempts to approach the audiovisual text of as a whole, that is, in the form it is presented to the audience. The opening part identifies the specifities of audiovisual text and its dubbing, including its multidimensionality, role and function of its dialogue, process of dubbing production and constraints of the contemporary Czech dubbing market. What follows is a contrastive analysis of an opening scene of The X-Files Pilot in its English and Czech dubbed versions with respect to the sequential build-up of the interpersonal dynamics in both versions. Also focused is the interplay of the verbal and non-verbal codes in the action of the characters. For...
