Benková, Veronika ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
TITLE: Influence of swimming on increasing flexibility as a component of the desterity of primary school pupils in the Louny region. AUTHOR: Bc. Veronika Benková DEPARTMENT: Department of physical education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Irena Svobodová ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to find out how basic swimming training taking place in Louny region affects joint mobility in children of younger school age and at the same time, compare the results of the measured group with similar, already conducted research from 2015 and 2018. In order to get results, proven joint mobility tests are used. Testing will take place twice in total; before the beginning and at the end of the swimming training, e. g. after the end of the ten two-hour lessons period. This research will be conducted for about ten weeks. Testing will take place at two primary schools. The test persons were divided according to gender into boys and girls, as well as whether they are non-swimmers and swimmers. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of younger school age, motor skills - especially joint mobility, swimming training and swimming. In the practical part, I describe individual flexibility tests and the results gained from these tests. The work showed that swimming helps to develop flexibility, but in comparison with previous...

TITLE Influence of the obligatory swimming course on flexibility of children in younger school age at Hostýnská Primary School AUTHOR Kate ina Merrelová DEPARTMENT Department of physical education SUPERVISOR PaedDr. Irena Svobodová ABSTRACT This Master thesis aims at flexibility of children in younger school age. Specifically, to determine the effect of basic swimming course on the joint mobility of younger school age. We will use verified tests for joint mobility for this detection. The testing will take place twice. The first time it will be at the beginning of the swimming course and the second time it will be after two months of ongoing swimming course. The tested group will consist of pupils from the Hostýnská Primary School who have participated in the swimming course. Boys and girls will be represented equally. The theoretical part will focus on the characteristics of younger school age, the characteristics of motor skills, especially on flexibility and swimming and swimming training. The practical part will be devoted to the description of research and analysis of the results of individual tests. BIBLIOGRAPHICAL IDENTIFICATION Title of thesis: Project "Children at the start" in times of COVID-19 Department: Faculty of Education, Charles University, Department of Physical Education Author: Bc. Lucie Ajchlerová Supervisor: PaedDr. Jana Hájková Year of elaboration: 2021 Abstract: This Diploma thesis tries to approach the issue of the project "Children at the start" and the situation that occurred with the occurrence of covid-19 in conjunction with government measures to prevent the spread of this disease. The project deals with the development of physical activity within children from 4 to 9 years of age. Project has its centres throughout the Czech Republic. The research should show how the project "Children at the start" tried to respond to the situation that occurred in the period from February 2020 to February 2021. The questionnaire survey was conducted with parents and legal representatives of children involved in the project, as well as heads of centres, head coaches and assistant coaches. These two different groups provided a double view of the issue. The Diploma thesis came to the results that the project is very variable, and some centres are able to run their training units under strict measures. Evaluation scale of breaststroke swimming technique
Hošek, Martin ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Janošková, Hana (referee)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to create a rating scale the would be convenient for the evaluation of the swimming breaststroke technique of the students of physical education. The premise of the thesis is to specify a model technique, which corresponds to the students and also to formulate criteria for evaluation of the swimming beaststoke technique- The theoretical part of the thesis consists of a closer look at the specification of the model swimming breaststroke technique and possible deviation of this technique. To follow up on this knowledge, a yes/no rating scale is developer, as well as a observing, svaling and a method of quantitative analysis of statistical data is used. Tje final research results revealed deviation from the breaststroke technique mostly in breathing movements of arms, the body posture, movemnts of legs and coordination of breathing together with arm movements

The kynurenine pathway ends with the production of nikotinamid e adenin dinukleotide ( NAD + ) ,whichisneededfortheproductionofcellularenergy. Thus, withincreased energy demand during immune system activation, the activity of the kynurenine pathway is increased. Dueto increasedactivity, itproduces more immunoactiveandneuroactivemetab olites suchaskynurenicacidandquinolinicacid.Thesemetabolitesareinvolvedinmanyprocessesin the body and affect the pathology of many diseases. Evaluation scale of swimming technique of crawl for children of younger school age
Hejdová, Andrea ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
1 ABSTRACT The objective of the diploma thesis is to create a rating scale that would be convenient for the evaluation of the swimming crawl technique of the early age school children. The assumption of the thesis is to specify a model technique, which is corresponding with the stage of development of the children and also formulates criteria for evaluation of the swimming crawl technique. The created scale is later used within a group of children from the swimming school Žabička. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of the closer look at the characteristic of the early age school children, specification of the model swimming crawl technique and possible deviation of this technique. To follow up on this knowledge, a rating scale yes/no is developed, as well as a record sheet and an evaluation procedure. For determination of the results is used a method of observing, scaling and a method of quantitative analysis of statistical data. The final research results revealed deviation from the crawl technique mostly in the body posture, movements of legs, movements of arms and coordination of breathing together with arm movements. Function of deep hull stabilization system in kraul technique
Kohoutová, Eva ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was describing the importance of the torso/core system function in the crawl swimming stroke. The theoretical part is divided into two topics. The first topic deals with the crawl swimming stroke, where the correct model technique and subsequently the most common mistakes are described. Regarding the model technique the correct position of the head and body, the movements of the upper and lower limbs, the correct breathing and complete movement coordination are described in detail. The second topic deals with the core system in general and clarifies the meaning of this system. The muscles of the core system and their functions are described in detail as well. The connection of breathing with the core system is mentioned as well as the muscle imbalances and the subsequent vertebral algic syndrome. The methods of examination and the connection of the torso/core system with the swimming locomotion were further described. The practical part deals with the tracking of an actual person swimming crawl stroke on a 800m distance. The monitored person underwent an examination of the core system strength and subsequently, after the warmup 200 m swim, was filmed using a GoPro camera on the mentioned 800m distance. The video with all mistakes was further analysed regarding to the...
