The Proposal of Work-Life Balance in Selected Company

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of work-life harmonization in a selected company engaged in water sports. It specifies the topicality of its implementation to business practice, tools of work-life balance, possibilities and barriers from the perspective of employers and employees. The practical part analyses the current state of the selected company through a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview. On the basis of the theoretical knowledge and the obtained results, optimal measures for work-life balance are proposed, which are supplemented by a financial evaluation.

This thesis deals with problems of working motivation and satisfaction of employees in the company Jihomoravská armaturka spol. s.r.o. The theoretical part deals with the theory of working motivation and job satisfaction factors of employees. The practical part contains an analysis of the current status of the organization and a research, in which are collected answers to specific research questions. Based on the analysis and interpretation of the responses will be proposed my own recommendations for management about improving the motivation and the employees´ satisfaction.

This thesis aims to evaluate the corporate culture, and related communications in the company. In the theoretical section first explains the basic concepts related to corporate culture, internal communications and human resources management. Subsequently, on the basis of the survey, the practical part of the work. It analyzes the current state of corporate culture, communication and overall satisfaction of employees in the company. Each of the identified problem area is individually defined and described, and a key element of the thesis is the recommendation of such remedial measures through which will improve corporate culture and communication, and thus to greater employee satisfaction.

Beginning of the practical part describes the company and shows analysis of current situation of motivation. Next part is devoted to empirical investigation. Recommendations based on the analysis of the current state and resulsts of the empirical investigationwere designed for the enterprise.

In the teoretical part summarizes the findings which were obtained from literature and these findings are then applied in the practical part where I analyze the current state of systém of motivation, evaluation and remuneration of employees in selected company. In the last part are proposed measures to improve the deficiencies identified in the practical part.
