Personal skills as a part of P. S. E. - the topics primary pevention of addictions

Theme of thesis is "Personal skills as a part of P. S. E. - the topics primary prevention of addiction. This work is focused on the use of personal skills of P. S. E. in primary prevention of drug abuse performed in school education. The theoretical part describes P. S. E. as a cross-subject in the Frame Educational Programme for elemantary school, further defines theoretical knowledge of personal skills. the theoretical part is targeted on personal development, primary prevention of drug abuse and addictions. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes teaching methods used in prevention programmEs. The aim of the research part is to investigate, whether lectors and teachers use personal skills in a schoolbased drug prevention and how. The research attention is focused on schools in Prague.
Communicating curriculum reform to parents during their childrens first time class entry

This work is theoretical in nature, no empirical research is included. The text summerizes the state of the educational reforms in Czech Republic and the ways in which those are being communicated to parents of children in school age. Definitions of key components of the reform are provided.Emphasis is put on roles played by children entering school and their parents. These roles influence the style of communication between school and parents. The support of parents is critical in achieving success for the proposed changes. Therefore, a central part of this work treats communication flows and their quality. The British case is studied to provide a concrete proposal of the way communication of a school reform has been handled.
Drama as a way of development

This work deal with system of drama improvisation which appears from the theatre sports. The practice part describes its goals, resources and principles. It offers to use the methods of drama improvisation as a possibility of teacher' s personal development. The theoretical part explores the effects of drama improvisation on personal development and resumes the results of the research.
The effect of dramatic activities on Lisbon key competencies

This thesis verifies the effect of dramatic activities on the development of social key competencies. The theoretical part defines a framework of key competencies and dramatic activities. The empirical part provides (the larger) context of research, which is part of an international research project DICE (Drama Improves Lisbon Key Competences in Education). Then comes the description and analysis of the collected data. The findings of the empirical part do not confirm the effect of dramatic activities on the development of social key competencies, but at the same time they show possible reasons why this effect was not confirmed.
Trough media education to media literacy

The theme of bachelor thesis "Through Media Education to Media Literacy" is a new subject in field of education: media education. The first part is briefly overlooking the history of media education worldwide and implementation of media education in Czech environment. The thesis introduces questions of media literacy and presents media education as one of Cross-curricular Subjects as it is understood by Framework Education Programme of Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. From strictly didactic point of view the media education is presented in chapter Principal Elements of Methodology Construction and in chapter Method of Media Education. Second part deals with education of teachers in field of media education and projects of non-governmental agencies providing their education. This part of thesis also offers an overview of methodical handbooks published to be used while teaching media education in Czech system of schools. The last chapter compares three most important handbooks mentioned above.
Celakovice education and rebellions activity of teachers during Nazism occupation

This work deals with problems of Czcech educational system in the period of nazi occupation. Based on concrete examples of national school in Celakovice, primarily basic attributes of our national education in this tragic period are approached. These attributes are divided into severa I phases aceording to the way of nazi intluence on the education area. As an initial time limit we consider already the period of so called the "second republic", which in many aspects ushers in following years of Czech and Moravia Protectorate. We can follow up there how Celakovice schools were changing until the end of the Second World War under the increasing pressure of German occupational power. In the process of time we can also see the downgrade of not only everyday school work but also of the Czech teachers position. The attention is also given over to unsuccessful attempt to establish municipal school of music, which was supposed to become a significant culture centre of Celakovice. Final part of this work is describing revolt activities of teachers who were at the same time the main representatives of the local rebellion organization. It is mainly about Jaroslav Krucky, one of nazi regim victim, and Vaclav Grafnetter, who as a leader of local revolt led popular uprising in Celakovice in May 1945.

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se snažila upozornit na potřebu zařazení osobnostního a sociálního rozvoje žáků do školního vzdělávání. Je mnoho způsobů, jak osobnostní a sociální rozvoj žáků zařadit do kurikula. Ve své práci jsem se rozhodla popsat kohezní program, se kterým mám osobní zkušenost, a který je možnou alternativou zařazení aktivit, které umožňují osobnostní a sociální rozvoj žáků, do kurikula. Bude-Ii tato práce někomu inspirací pro vytvoření vlastního kohezního programu ve škole, budu ráda. Mým cílem bylo také v této souvislosti poukázat na potřebu dalšího odborného vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků v osobnostně sociální oblasti.
The Issues of Education and Learning Outside of the Schooling in Klatovy

This thesis deals with the issues of upbringing and education out of tuition in Klatovy. The goal of my thesis is to identify the specific activities of each organization for education and upbringing out of tuition in Klatovy, and alternatively to suggest improvements in the work of these organizations. The work is divided into two parts: the theoretical part explains the history and basic terms in the field of leisure education and puts forward proposals for spending leisure time in different age groups. The empirical part contains a list of all leisure facilities in Klatovy and semi-structured interviews with representatives of selected organizations for education and upbringing out of tuition. It deals with the methodology of this research.
School as a Community Center - the Reality and Possibilities of Development of Community Education

and key words School as a community center - reality and possiblities of development of communtiy education Key words: local community, school as a community center, cooperation, community work, lifelong learning, case study. This thesis deals with the community schools in the Czech Republic and the possibilities of their development. Firstly, it defines basic concepts like community education in an international context and the notion of community schools itself. Secondly, it discusses certain theoretical assumptions and presuppositions as well as current challenges of development of the community schools. The research is based on a multiple case study and it describes the current situation of selected community schools. The current situation of the schools is compared to their situation and conditions six years ago. Basing on the diachronic comparison using the academic document "Analysis of environment in the Czech Republic and the possibility of the development of community schools" of 2008, the research revealed that community concepts in schools are almost unchanged. Finally, the work challenges possible causes of this stagnation of development. Its contribution is in addition to the design possibilities for further development of community schools in the Czech Republic. Further value added...
The institue for teachers and its changes during the years 1870-1948

The paper "The Teachers' Training College in Kutná Hora and its Changes in Development of the between 1870 and 1948" presents a survey of the history of the institution from the time of its foundation in 1870 till 1948 when it was dissolved in compliance with the measures enforced in the education for elementary school teachers. The information presented in this work was acquired through a thorough study of the accessible sources and is supported by the relevant legal regulations applicable to the education for elementary school teachers in training colleges for teachers valid in all of the respective given periods. These proved to be invaluable sources of explanations of all internal changes made in the aforementioned institution during different stages of its life and development. They have also granted a more complex outlook at the ways in which the elementary school teachers were being educated in the past.
