Will be newly designed for building the power plant technology with progressive fluidized bed boiler to biomass steam turbine with an output of 7 MW and absorption (trigeneration) unit producing heat, cooling and electricity, which also will function as a cooler primary circuits. The source of water for the power plant will not only former mining pit Nejedlý I which is currently flooded drinking water at about 12 ° C. This system uses high efficiency embedded fuel (biomass), which is ultimately required less. A greater proportion of electricity generated and part of the heat will be distributed to the public network. In most areas will be proposed publicly accessible greenhouses of steel-aluminum construction filled ETFE foil forming the heat insulating membrane filled with air. The reason is to create conditions for the cultivation of tropical and subtropical plants. Greenhouses will be connected to the absorption unit power (underground meanders through which water will circulate), the ventilation shaft mine and mine water - therefore it will be possible to manage the conditions of the internal environment of the building without the influence of the season and especially without mounting other technological devices. It will provide for cooperation with the absorption unit for cooling the primary circuit - therefore eliminating the need for cooling towers or fans. The project will build a detached departments of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Prague - Institute of progressive technologies and systems for energy and the Faculty of Agronomy and Natural Resources CULS. The reason is to allow students and scientists actively and in practice mainly participate in the operation and especially the development of the issue. Viticultural tradition in Bratislava
Horváth, Dávid ; Uhrík,, Martin (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Viticulture has long belonged to Bratislava. It has been mentioned in archival reports since the middle of the 13th century. The vineyards stretched from Bratislava Castle to Rača and Vajnor. Especially in the last century, large-scale construction of apartment and family houses began to replace vineyards. This trend still persists and developers attract people to live with a view of the city and the proximity of nature, from which, however, they take themselves. The vineyards have been receding for the centuries of the developing city and this historic heritage is falling into oblivion. however, vineyards are not only a reminder of the glorious past, but also of irreplaceable creators of biodiversity and contribute to a better climate for the city. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the retreat of vineyards expanding in Bratislava. Conditions for vine growing and its processing in Bratislava and its surroundings. Subsequently, finding a suitable form and applying the outputs from the analytical part in a specific architectural design.
GENIUS THEATRI, České Budějovice
Kůs, Martin ; Pejpek, Tomáš (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Fragmented and heterogenous space of Mariánské náměstí needs a new unifying element that will not compete with its surroundings, and yet not blindly respectful. It will simply stand there and in time become a natural part of the area. Rough massive volumes with minimum of windows boldly face surrounding urban blocks. Its dynamic facades emphasize the opennes and chaos of the area. Rough raw boulders with single elegant crystal inserted amongst them. Like a diamond amongst coal. It is interconnected through bridges. People and life flows through the whole structure.

Housing for bro
Kropšová, Zuzana ; Šnajdarová, Helena (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
I have a brother with a mental disability. The moment when he will move away from his mom‘s house is slowly approaching. The question is: Where will he move? What will he do during the days? Where will he be able to work? Will he be able to live like most of us? Will he be useful and beneficial for society? Will people perceive him as someone who needs help or as someone who has something to offer? Architecture gives space to people. Space that forms them. Space has the power to unite people. It can tear down barriers which have been build during the years. Space can open up new possibilities. That is why I am convinced that I can find answers to my questions through architecture. In my work, I want to map the life of an adult with a mental disability and find a way how to integrate him into the mainstream society fully. I want to find a way how to make partners from clients. Since I have lived with a person with a mental disability for 15 years of my life, I will rely primarily on my personal experience. I tailored the work to my brother, but, at the same time, I want it to have a general outreach. I will draw inspiration from literature, legislation, and personal meetings.
