Climate of a school class

Precis The diploma paper is concentrated on the subject of a school class climate and the related occurrence of bullying in various types of primary schools. Its theoretical part deals with the description and definition of the main topics: the classroom climate and the bullying in classroom. At the same time it focuses on the description of a student, teacher and their relationship; description of the display and prevention of bullying and last but not least it presents the conception of an alternative school. The practical part deals with research among the students as well as the teachers, with the goal to find out what the climate in the classroom is, to which degree bullying occurs, how much is education about abuse and bullying emphasised and what is the relationship between a student and a teacher. It simultaneously compares the unanimity of views between the student and the teacher on the given topic. In order to gain the needed data, students were given a questionnaire and a semi-standardised interview was carried out with the teachers.
Level of graphomotor skills of preschool children before entering elementary school

There are currently increasingly debated issues of entering the schooling, especially in the terms of levels of preparedness to enter the first grade and the school's requirements on the first- graders. This is due to a large number of often complex changes which the entrance into the first grade means for the children and their families. It is the best for the first-graders do all these changes without undue frustration, it is necessary that their physical, mental and neural development and readiness were on sufficient level. Because of extensiveness of this topic, only the part of it was selected for this thesis, as its name says: The level of graphomotor skills of preschool children before entering elementary school. The area of graphomotor skills is presented in the context of writing skills throughout this thesis. The legislative definition of compulsory school attendance and the issue of writing as an essential part of literacy is covered within the theoretical part. School preparedness support for children with postponement of school attendance

The theme of bachelor's work is School preparedness support for children with postponement of school attendance. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the period of preschool age and its characteristics. Further, are defined the concepts of school readiness, school readiness, enrolment in the first year of nursery school, postponement of school attendance and its reasons. It is described and analysed pedagogical diagnostics, its methods and support options for children with the postponement of school attendance in kindergarten. The practical part is realized in the research the investigation of the possible ways of pedagogical diagnostics to verify the assumptions of the child before commencement of compulsory schooling. Part of the work are three case studies of children with delayed compulsory school attendance, in which are taken into account, the proposed recommendation of the pedagogical-psychological counseling for the creation of the plans of the pedagogical support, which are directed to the overall development of the child.
Social climate of kindergarten

The Diploma Work deals with social climat of a kindergarten. Its aim is to find out what aspects contribute to interrlelations improving. The teoretical part keeps to a specific proffesional literature, characterizes and defines terms adherent to pre-school education, specifies age differences of pre-school children, focuses on a game and social climat of a gindergarten. In the practical part there is mapped out a current social climat of a particular gindergarten by a form of an action research. The progression of social climat is monitored by means of outdoor modes and pedagogy of experiences during common astivities with parents.
The Contemporary Family and the Moral Development of Pre-School Children

The dissertation focuses on contemporary family and on development of pre-school child as regards teaching moral values. It observes undergoing changes in family environment and their influence on raising a child after epochal democratic changes in society. It focuses on examining and finding differences in two distinct groups of families (agnostic and worshipping) in the Czech Republic. Education Programmes in Nursery Schools

The thesis deals with different approaches to the creation of school educational programs in the context of the Framework Educational Program for Pre-School Education. The work combines theoretical and empirical approach. In the theoretical part, historical milestones influencing the educational processes in the Czech lands are described. The text presents, in the chronological order, characteristics of curriculum and pre-school educational programs as they had been introduced between 1945 and 1990. The content summarizes current educational trends, major policy changes and requirements applied on contemporary policy documents. The thesis also deals with new policy strategies and procedures connected with the societal changes and pedagogical findings, defines new pedagogical terms and points out the importance of policy documents. The empirical part includes a completed research project on a regional level analyzing approaches to the development of school educational programs, both in terms of concept and form. It also studies the share of directors, teachers and parents in the creation of such a program and identifies problematic areas on the way to an own school educational program. Respecting needs of preschool children in nursery schools operating under different curricula

The Thesis is devoted to the comparison of respecting children needs in Czech nursery schools and British nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It is concerned with the Czech statutory framework called Rámcový vzdělávací program pro předškolní vzdělávání and the British document called the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Using content analysis the work examines both the documents and determines their approaches to satisfy needs of children. The second part of the research, conducted through observation, is figuring out how needs according to the Maslow A. are met in the practise of these nurseries. The content analysis and observation is used to discern whether the practise of the nurseries corresponds with their educational program in the area of satisfying children needs.
Expected educational level of children for beginning basic school (Educational assessments and subsequent intervention in nursery school)

This dissertation concerns the readiness of children to begin primary school. Its aim was to discover to what extent early diagnosis and subsequent intervention for a control group of pre-school children ensured a successful school start. An early diagnosis of learning difficulties and problems with social development at this age was shown to have a significant influence on the child's success in starting school.
