7 Anotace v cizím jazyce Annotation This bachelor work deals with foster care in the Czech Republic. I tried to approach not only history itself but also performance of foster care nowadays. In the first part, the basic terms used in this field are explained as well as important historical moments regarding foster care. Description of different forms and kinds of foster care is also included. Second part describes mediation and fosterage itself. Duties and discretions of foster parents including outline of child care benefits are also implicated, as amended by Act no. 359/1999 Sb, social - legal child protection. Final part shows course of foster care itself in one family from my close connection who brought up 2 children. The final parts of this chapter evaluates the importance of foster care in the society including experience of real foster parents in application on valid legislation. Street work with migrants

9 The main focus of the thesis is on the street work with migrants and the dilemma of help and control that arises in it. An integral part of this was the presentation of available literature dealing with this topic and its analysis. The theoretical part defines the target group, migrants in the Czech Republic and integration and migration policy in the Czech Republic. It also deals with street work, the legislative framework of street work, the personality of the street worker and the specifics of street work with migrants and also social work with migrants is described. Attention is paid to the dilemmas in social work, their origin with an emphasis on the help and control dilemma and ways of coping. The research part is devoted to the description of own qualitative research, which was carried out by the method of semi-structured interviews with street workers focusing on working with migrants by using the technique of critical incident. The main aim of the research was to find out in which cases the street workers encounter the dilemma of help and control and how to deal with it. Application possibilities of a task centred aprroach in the department of social and legal protection of children practice

140 Abstract GOALS: Intention of my diessertation work was to answer the main research question: "What is the utilazation rate of TCA when working with involuntary clients of social workers from CPS in the capital city of Prague and selected CPS in Vysocina region?". Theoretical starting-points: Basic signs of TCA are partnerships and strenghten. In terms of TCA the success depends on How people can actively participate and understand the process of helping. Clients role is active and he is participating everything what has been happening in the whole process of helping. Task centered approach says, that experience from your own decision is more usefull then just assuming how the future situation could be. TCA holds the idea, which just a little success build up self-confidence and self-esteem. Accomplishing of goals and achieving of another goal motivates a client. When smaller goals are set up there is a much more chance for possitive result of the whole advisory process. METHODS: Semistructured questionnaire has been used. The questionnaire have 47 questions, which are based on operationalization of main research question. RESULTS: The outcome of questionnaire investigation method is that the workers don`t use TCA, but in general in their practice we are able to identify some of the elements of approach.

Evaluation of efficiency in the Rosa day-care center

The Rosa Daily Stationary provides a service for people with mental or combined disabilities. The stationary supports the progress of the self-reliance and social inclusion of the disabled person in society. The target group is people aged 6 to 60 who are in an unfavorable social situation (for example the disabled person is not able to care for himself - daily hygiene, food, dressing). The goal of this service is to integrate the individual into society, enable people to interact, develop communication and to spend leisure time actively. The major aim of my diploma thesis was to find out how the quality of the provided services in the stationary is evaluated. The partial research questions try to investigate how staff, users and parents assess the quality of the services provided. The research team consisted of users, parents and staff. I created an anonymous questionnaire for each group of respondents. Questions in the questionnaire were very similar. I have divided the questionnaire into 4 rounds - evaluating of Rosa, Rosa's environment, stationary services and personnel ensuring The survey was mainly focused on services with which respondents were less satisfied and on risk factors that could contribute to dissatisfaction. System of services for homeless people in Prague

The Diploma thesis called "The system of services for homeless people in Prague" is focused on answering the main research question: "What is the demographic structure of homeless people in Prague using social services?". The first chapter is devoted to the theory of homelessness, its development, changes and society's responses in according to this socially pathological phenomenon. The second part of the Diploma thesis focuses directly on the situation of homeless people. Firstly, the definition of social services is described, I also focus on social prevention services that help solve the problem. I also describe problematic areas of homelessness and their solutions in the context of social services aimed at minimizing the negative effects of homelessness, preventing its development, as well as preventive action. The third part is focused on explaining the notion of demography, its exploration and interpretation of basic terms, the definition of which is necessary for the understanding of the research part of the Diploma thesis. I present here the results of the first official Census 2011 of homeless people in the Czech Republic.
