Game as an ed educational tool in an interest education

The bachelor thesis deals with an influence of a game on a personality of a child in a younger pupilage while wrapped up in an interest education, especially enfluence of the game during activities with troubled children with special needs. The goal of thesis is to examine to what extend intentionaly pedagogically lead didacticly selected game can prevent problems that occur in integrating these children into the collective and also can be reduce with the game prove behavior their practicular handicap. It explores different posibilities of integration of the childrens in to our society by choice of sutable games, corresponding with the children age.

Implementation of media in work of teacher

Cílem mé diplomové práce je ukázat, jaké možnosti mohou prinášet ucitelum masová média a jak mohou ovlivnovat jejich práci. Nejprve rozeberu nejvíce rozšírená média - tištená média, rozhlas a magnetofon, televizi a video, pocítac a již velmi populární Internet. U každého zvlášt se pokusím ukázat jejich vznik a rozšírení a poté jejich první využití ve škole a ve výuce. S masovým rozšírením médií se mení možnosti i zpusob používání technických prostredku uciteli. S nástupem informacní spolecnosti prichází i obava z nekontrolovatelného šírení nejruznejších informací. Nutností se zacíná stávat nejen gramotnost literární, ale i gramotnost mediální. Na mediální výchovu, gramotnost a její rešení v nynejších pedagogických dokumentech bych se ráda zamerila v další kapitole.

Personality and social education in the contemporary basic school

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se pokusila charakterizovat osobnostní a sociální výchovu, která je povinnou součástí vzdělávání na všech základních školách. Popsala jsem teoretický základ, který se týkal zejména cílů, didaktických zásad a přehledu témat OSV, zároveň jsem nastínila možnosti zařazení OSV do práce školy. Teoretickou část jsem rozšířila a doplnila o výsledky výzkumu provedeném mezi učiteli i žáky současných základních škol. Podařilo se mi zjistit, jaká je představa učitelů o OSV, jaká znají témata OSV a zdali jsou na práci s nimi nějakým způsobem připraveni. Zaznamenala jsem, jak učitelé a žáci vidí ideálního učitele, tedy člověka, který je jim vzorem díky svým osobnostním kvalitám. Nalezla jsem značné množství literatury, která zahrnuje témata OSV, prostudovala jsem různé teoretické publikace zabývající se např. psychologií osobnosti a rovněž příručky obsahující soubory nejrůznějších her a aktivit na podporu osobnostního a sociálního rozvoje žáka. Literatura, která se bezprostředně dotýká tématu OSV, tak početná není, často se jedná o stále stejné autory. Problematikou OSV se v současné době zabývá v diplomové práci několikrát zmíněný Projekt Odyssea a tím se poznatky obohacují o nové nápady, zkušenosti a podněty.

Impact of speaking error correction on learner's self-belief

The thesis titled Impact of speaking error correction on learner's self- belief deals wit error correction by the teacher during speaking activities in English language lessons and how the manner of error correction influence the students' self-belief. The thesis defines the term selfbelief and presents agents that influence self-belief. The family, peers, culture and physical and mental disposition are mentioned. Close attention is paid to the impact of the school. Another part of the thesis defines what an error is and analyzes it from the perspective of its functions, types and causes. The thesis reflects a fundamental role of the error in classroom assessment and describes different teacher responses to the error. The empirical research describes the relationship between students' self-belief and surrounding's reaction to his errors through grounded theory and brings suggestions how students perceive different ways of their error corrections.

TITLE: An Account of Implementation the Personal and Social Education on a Selected Basic School SUMMARY: The thesis covers the cross-curricular subject Personal and Social Education, and its confirmation in the educational system of the Czech Republic. In the practical part, it focuses on its long-term realisation at a selected elementary school. In the research section, attention is paid to the history of implementing Personal and Social Education at the selected school, and to the skills, which students have learned in the lessons; moreover, the research is focuses on the practical use of these skills in students' lives. The questionnaire survey concentrates on the students' point of view concerning the acquired skills and their practical serviceability. The aim is to verify the fact that from the students' point of view the implementation of Personal and Social Education at the selected school influences their practical lives.
