Analysis of the marketing activities of the selected online shop

This bachelor thesis deals with selected tools of Internet marketing in e-commerce. The aim is first to introduce readers to this matter and then analyze the specific use of the tools at online store pristresky-polykarbonat.cz of company RWA systémy s.r.o. The outputs of the analysis are proposals and recommendations for the selected online store that may be used for similar stores in a same market segment. The benefit of this paper lies in the current overview of the selected marketing tools and also in the final analysis of its results.
Design and implementation of Data Mining model with MS SQL Server technology

This thesis focuses on design and implementation of a data mining solution with real-world data. The task is analysed, processed and its results evaluated. The mined data set contains study records of students from University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) over the course of past three years. First part of the thesis focuses on theory of data mining, definition of the term, history and development of this particular field. Current best practices and meth-odology are described, as well as methods for determining the quality of data and methods for data pre-processing ahead of the actual data mining task. The most common data mining techniques are introduced, including their basic concepts, advantages and disadvantages. The theoretical basis is then used to implement a concrete data mining solution with educational data. The source data set is described, analysed and some of the data are chosen as input for created models. The solution is based on MS SQL Server data mining platform and it's goal is to find, describe and analyse potential as-sociations and dependencies in data. Results of respective models are evaluated, including their potential added value. Also mentioned are possible extensions and suggestions for further development of the solution.
Augmented Reality and its use in Sales and Marketing

The bachelor thesis deals with augmented reality and its use in marketing and sales. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part a general overview of augmented reality is given in terms of its definition, development, principles and technologies used. Next, uses of augmented reality in various sectors are presented along with some of the problems that are associated with this technology. The practical part contains a design of an marketing application for a specific company that uses augmented reality.
Flexible web design for various display devices

This thesis deals with the creation of flexible website design for diverse display devices. The theoretical part deals with the approaches and strategies for building web pages suitable for different display devices. The thesis is mainly focused on responsive webdesign. In the practical part there is built a responsive web page. This website has been tested in a variety of display devices and web browsers. An additional part of the thesis is a questionnaire. The main purpose of the questionnaire was to prove that it makes sense to deal with the topic of flexible webdesign. The aim of this thesis is to design and built responsive website using the described methods and evaluation of testing of this website.
Startup development methodologies, comparison and application, evaluation of acquisition and activation of customers using web analytics tools

The thesis deals with the issue of startups and methodologies of their development. Main aim is to explain chosen approaches to development of startup, compare them and then retrospectively use them in an e-shop selling clothes, determine mistakes of past development in relation to the methodologies and evaluate their suitability for specific business of specific product (clothes) distribution in the Czech Republic. Another equally important aim is to assess the effectiveness of acquisition and activation of customers of the e-shop using web analytics tools and evaluate behavior of visitors.
The use of cognitive aspects of human in design and promotion of commercial website

Bachelor thesis follows up the utilization of cognitive aspects of human in relation to the design and component allocation of commercial websites. The aim is to explain the various terms and introduce research methods, and these methods then practically use for designing web pages. In the theoretical section are explained the basic terms and their relevant disciplines with their imaging methods. With more details is described by eye -tracking for its simplicity and usability is essential for this thesis. In the last chapter of the theoretical part is described the characteristics of a website. This chapter also lists the relevant international studies which are related to the topic of this work. The practical part contains eye-tracking study on selected website verifying its appearance. In the experiment are given research questions dealing with an accuracy component placement website, the procedure of the experiment and subsequently described the outcome and evaluation research questions. In conclusion, the proposed changes are discussed based on the experiment, leading to a better layout design elements of the website, which will have positive impacts in terms of promotion, especially the use of website as a landing page.
Internet marketing tools and their application within Zoot company

This Diploma thesis is focused on the Internet marketing tools, which are suitable for the Company aimed at selling consumable goods. These Internet marketing tools are applied within Zoot Company. Diploma thesis is divided in two logical parts, theoretical and practical. Individual tools are introduced and intimately analysed in theoretical part. For all mentioned tools, there is a definition of their advantages, description of the process, how to manage those tools, the process models and the description of the tools for their evaluation. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. This part contains the analysis of the Zoot Company and its competitors and the analysis of Zoot's usage of the Internet marketing tools defined in theoretical part. The end of the practical part contains recommendations, how to improve the Internet marketing tools management. Main benefit of the theoretical part is the framework of Internet marketing tools, which are suitable for the Company aimed at selling consumable goods and their process adaptation. The benefit of the practical part is the intimate analysis of Zoot Company and its usage of the Internet marketing tools from theoretical part together with recommendations how to improve the Internet marketing tools management.
The Development of Payment Methods on the Internet

The bachelor thesis The Development of Payment Methods on the Internet is engaged with problematic of e-commerce in Czech online shops B2C. Thesis should help with decisions of payment method for owners of online shops so for customers. Goals of thesis are these: describe development of payments in online shops B2C; describe and compare payment systems on base of chosen criterions; describe trends and possible future of payment on the internet; to sum up people's experiences with payments on the internet. Development of payments is described in elementary possibilities of three e-shops since 1998 to 2010 every three years. Offer of methods is verified on larger sum of online shops. Payment systems are marked with points which are assigned on base of view of businessman and customer. Using my survey I have summed up people's experiences with payment on the internet. Thesis begins with development of payment methods, then current methods and their score. Thesis ends with description of future trends and possibilities of payments. Last topic of thesis is evaluation experiences based on survey.
Search engine optimization and user experience optimization for website

This bachelor thesis focuses on website optimization from both the search engine and the end user points of view. The thesis is divided in two logical parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains basic principles associated with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) followed by a description of User Interface Optimization. The practical part analyzes the overall quality of booking agency website with more detailed specification of problematics issues with regards to the optimization. Possibilities for improvements have been identified by a thorough analysis of the website as well as based on results of an End User Satisfaction survey. The main benefit of the practical part are already applied suggested improvements, which have improved website results not only in terms of SEO. Further improvements recommended for the future.

This bachelor thesis deals with internet marketing trends for market in the Czech Republic with an accent on a low-cost approach. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces and analyses components, tools and methods of internet marketing, used in the practical part. The practical part contains design, realization and evaluation of an internet marketing campaign for the language institute Mediterin. Particular chapters deal with market analysis, target group definition, search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaigns and web analysis.
