Drnholec Sports Airport
Trnová, Jana ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis is based on a studio project carried out in 6th term of the Bachelor’s degree within the subject of AG035. The subject matter is a design of a new-built sport airport on the outskirts of the town of Drnholec (Břeclav district). The main entry to the area is provided by a neighbouring third class road. The concept is infuenced mainly by the requirements for sport airports service and the orientation of the building towards the grassy runway. The building is designed as low-rise with two above-ground floors. According to the mass and construction, the building can be divided into three parts. The first one is a double floor height hangar. Its supporting system consists of a steel arched structure covered by technical textile. The hangar is connected to the middle two-floored part, formed by a load-bearing timber frame structure. There is an aircraft stand, being part of the hangar, situated on the ground floor. There is also a workroom background with warehouses and aviation club facilities there. The remaining area is intended for a café. The emphasis was put on the visual connection of the café and the hangar. A spiral staircase allows ascend from the café to the first floor. Most of its area is occupied by a terrace, used as a grandstand for spectators. A dispatching room and a training center are situated there, too. The café on the ground floor is also connected to the last part of the unit. It is a single-floored section, whose supporting function is provided by a timber lamella arched structure. In this part, facilities for the operation of the café and its employees, sanitary facilities for visitors, technical rooms and the aviation club are situated. The designed building solves the absence of the aviation club facilities and the possibilities of locating machines near the runway. What is more, constructing of model building club facilities and accommodation units are taken into consideration in the design, too.

Dynamic Behaviours of the C Axis Drive for Multifunction Cutting Center
Křepela, Jan ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Souček, Pavel (referee) ; Brychta, Zdeněk (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
his Disertation thesis involves the creating of the simulation model of the C axis drive over mentioned machine and them verification on the prototype of this machine. C axis is controlled with position feedback. Simulation model was created before the realisation of the machine prototype for the preliminary identification of the dynamic behaviours in the working cycles and them opportunity of the realisation this conception. C axis is constructed with worm gear and is controlled with help of Master-Slave drive. This torque drive eliminates the production backlash in the worm gear. The multifunction turning center, where is used this C axis, is determinate for heavy duty roughing cutting of the forged peaces, where is problem with dynamic stability of the cutting process. Simulation model includes the problems with multi-body mass system, friction on the worm gear, self locking, damping on the worm gear and the optimization of the parametrs for many regulators. Simulation model was verified on the prototype of the machine. Achieved results bring the new knowledge, which are used for simulation complicated machine nodes and this knowledge is used for research and developing of the similar mechatronics system.
EFFECT OF GEOMETRICAL PRECISION MACHINING CENTERS ON THE DESIRED CHARAKTERISTICTS OF THE GOODS
Holub, Michal ; Demeč, Peter (referee) ; Hýbner, Břetislav (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The main subject of this doctoral thesis is the influence of the geometrical accuracy of large CNC machine tools on desired features of produced work pieces. Doe to globalized market environment and competition producers of machine tools have changed their strategy for delivery of their products to customers. The main issue is not only to deliver a machine tool as such; supporting instructions related to the technology of the cutting process on the machine tool are of great importance. When taking delivery, the customer can see a new machine tool that will produce by him specified work piece with a desired accuracy. In the proposed thesis, a development of a novel methodology of measuring vertical lathes for prediction of chosen geometrical parameters of work pieces is introduced. The main goal of this work has been to determine the influence of the geometrical accuracy of selected design groups of a vertical lath on the future geometric accuracy of the work piece. The proposed methodology has been developed and verified on a selected vertical lath SKIQ30 produced by TOSHULIN, a.s. For identification of chosen parameters of the vertical lath a measuring system using latest measuring technologies has been applied. The basic tool for measured data processing has been a set of statistic methods for prediction of behaviour of measured design groups of the machine. The foundation for statistical processing has been calculation of geometrical deviations obtained from algorithms designed for proposed measurement methodology. The proposed measurement methodology for vertical lathes has been divided into two parts. In the first part, the methodology of measurement and evaluation of linear axes is solved, where a measuring system Laser Track has been used. The employment of the system Laser Track turned out to be very suitable. Conclusions related to the accuracy of the measuring device have been drawn in the thesis. The second part of the proposed methodology is represented by observation and description of the rotating disk, where non-contact position transducers have been used. In the course of the doctoral dissertation it has been observed that the studied (with respect to the geometry) behaviour of the machine is significantly affected by the cutting conditions. To these belong the loading of the rotating disc by the mass of the work piece, angular velocity of the rotating disc and the operating time of the machine. Based on these observations it can be stated that for prediction of work piece features it is essential to know the behaviour of the machine tool in the whole range of the operating speeds and loading of the rotating disc. A part of the proposed methodology for measuring vertical lathes seems to be very suitable for a design of a diagnostic system that could be applied on large rotating disc. Furthermore, it is recommended to extend the doctoral thesis in order to develop a unit for compensation of geometrical errors on rotating discs of vertical lathes.
