Construction technological project of the annex of the school gymnasium in the town of Hrob

This diploma thesis deals with the construction technological project of the annex of the school gymnasium in the town of Hrob in the Ústí region. The work contains a technical report of the construction technological project, a coordination situation of the building with the solution of wider relations of transport routes to the construction site, time and financial construction plan for construction objects and a study of the implementation of the main technological stages. For the main construction object, an itemized budget for the shell construction, a graph of the need of workers and machines, and a detailed time schedule were also worked out. The work also includes a construction site equipment project, including drawing documentation for the stages of earthworks and shell construction, and the design of the main construction machinery. As part of the technological regulation, the work deals with the assembly of the prefabricated reinforced concrete skeleton of the gymnasium, including a detailed quality control and test plan for this process. Last, but not least, the work contains a safety and health protection plan for working on the construction site, a noise study, a calculation of the entire building according to THU, a schema of the assembly of the skeleton by a mobile crane including its assessment and a schema of the reach of the truck concrete pump.

Implementation of a Prefabricated Reinforced Concrete Construction of a Part of an Administrative Building in Ostrava

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the solution of implementation of a prefabricated reinforced concrete construction of a part of an administrative building in Ostrava. This thesis contains a technical report focusing on the skeleton assembly, the situation of the construction with broader transport relations, bill of quantities, technological regulation, construction organization solution, time schedule, machine assembly design, control and test plan, safety and health protection on construction site plan and technological procedures of structural joins. The annexes contain drawings of the construction site facilities and the situation of the construction with broader transport relations.

COSIM - Coating Simulation

In the given coating chamber is a system of rotating holders, which holds rotating tools. The chamber also contains electrodes (of various materials), from which the material evaporates and is coating the tools. The goal of this thesis is to simulate the process of coating and visualize the resulting layer in given places of coated tools depending on their placement, number, rotation speed and other optional settings.

Group sequential tests in clinical trials

Group sequential tests are an important statistical method. The analysis of data are performed continuously, which allows us to terminate the test before all observations are collected. For example these tests are used in medicine. When testing new drugs or procedures, this method brings about financial savings as well as ethical advantages. There are many ways of conducting group sequential tests with different qualities. Based on the perused literature, both basic and more complex types of group sequential tests are introduced in this paper. It discribes their principle and respective examples are provided. With this information it is possible to design and conduct a particular test. It's merits and demerits are compared for every method in real situations. The result is a tabular scale of different tests, from which it is possible to select a particular test for a given situation.

Settlement of the Roman Period in Holubice

Presented thesis deals with the settlement archaeology of the Roman Period in Bohemia and then introduces in detail also the findings of the Holubice settlement in the Prague-west district in this period. The work is mainly focused on processing and evaluation of archeological research at the sites "Kozákova zahrada" and "Na Ovčárně", which took place under the leadership of Vladimír Sakař between years 1977-1989. There was uncovered a part of the settlement from the younger part of early Roman Period and from the beginning of late Roman Period. Pottery sherds were evaluated with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The thesis also includes the analysis of unearthed objects and the outline of a shift of the land register of Holubice based on mapping of finds which were acquired through field exploration and detector survey. The thesis includes tables with drawings of shards of the pottery made by the author of this thesis (unless otherwise indicated) and also map tables from the archeological research and other inserts.

Application of Integrated Library System Aleph 500 in academic libraries in Czech Republic

The master thesis describes and evaluates application of Integrated Library System Aleph 500 (in following text ILS Aleph) in academic libraries in Czech Republic. First chapter describes theoretical requirements at automated library systems for academic libraries. Apart of general requirements are described new technical trends as tools of Web 2.0. Second chapter brings full description of ILS Aleph with specification of each system's module. Third chapter is dedicated to implementation of ILS Aleph in Czech academic libraries. Characteristic of each institutional implementation contains three parts: characteristic of institution, describing of implementation and description of institutional OPACs. Last chapter is dedicated to empiric study of application of ILS Aleph in academic libraries in Czech Republic. ILS Aleph users are examined at three levels (library users, librarians, system administrators). Empiric study was made at group of Prague academic libraries that implemented ILS Aleph.

Abstract The main goal of this thesis is to study the interdependencies between returns of European real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other investment asset classes such as European equities, government bonds and commodities. The thesis is divided into two parts: in the first part, we describe the necessary background that led to the emergence of first REIT structures and also provide an overview of the European REITs market. In the second part, we apply the Dynamic Conditional Correlation GARCH (DCC-GARCH) model to examine correlations between the above mentioned asset classes. The general understanding of real estate is that it provides diversification benefits to a diversified portfolio. However, our results suggest that returns of European REITs and stocks show a relatively high correlation and more importantly, the correlation increases in time. The diploma thesis solves construction and technological preparation of the transport terminal in Pec pod Sněžkou. The content of the diploma thesis is a techical report on the construction technology project, the coordination situation, the time and financial schedule, the project of building site, selection of machines, time schedule for the main building object, plan for securing material resources for the main building of the transport terminal, technological prescription and inspection and test plan for monolithic ceiling structures. Another assignment part contains a plan for safety and health protection at work on the construction site and specialized topic is a noise study.

Implementation Analysis of Green Roof on Nursery School Brno-Komin

The article analyzes the construction-technological processes in the implementation of the green roof on the kindergarten building in the city district of Brno-Komín. Firstly, the existing roof was inspected, a new roof was designed, and then the roof structures were reconstructed and supplemented. Depending on the location of the building, it was necessary to solve a suitable time to place the substrate so that it does not blow into the surroundings in case of strong wind.
