Bachelor thesis deals with comorbidity of eating disorders in therapy among clients addicted to stimulants. The thesis is focused on the topic of substance abuse, because of their increased anorectic effect, as a method to weight loss. The goal of the practical part of this thesis was to evaluate the percentage of clients addicted to stimulants exhibiting signs of eating disorders. A secondary goal was to determine the incidence of the characteristics of individual diseases in this group and to evaluate which of them will appear in the sample more frequently. Obtain answers to research questions was carried out using a questionnaire survey conducted in the Psychiatric Hospital Červený Dvůr for six months. OF THE THESIS BACKGROUNDS: Family background is a place which is very important for the child's development. Presence of each parent has its own role in education. Absence of one parent carries with it risks of adequate development. Paternal role in education is more and more important. Father has the significant role in his son's developmental tasks, making his own identity, being his male model. He can teach his son to be disciplined, to control agression and hot temper and other things that can influence the dealing with psychotherapeutic proces in the drug addicts during their medium-term treatment in a medical institution. The thesis deals with the medium-term treatment of male drug addicts, educational environment and its influence on coping with the psychoterapeutic process and it describes the diference between individuals who were grown up fatherless and those who were grown up in a complete family. Effect of a scoring system for the treatment of addicted women with psychiatric comorbidity

The issue of psychiatric co-morbidity is a serious public health problem occurring more and more frequently in the treatment of addiction and bringing with it various complications and often premature termination of treatment. The scoring system with a fixed set regime is still being used as the main instrument for treatment of addicted clients on the most specialized departments of psychiatric hospitals, although the effectiveness of the scoring system has not yet been clinically verified. The aim of this pilot study is to demonstrate and verify of the individual cases of clients with different categories of dual diagnosis, how they perceive the balance of the sanctions and rewards and fair setting in the context of the scoring system. Other goals are to find out and verify what is the influence of the scoring system on the motivation to change the behavior and success of treatment, what weaknesses clients with dual diagnosis perceive in this system and how they represent the treatment system, which would make them more fit and motivated to change behavior. Further, this study seeks to establish whether difficulties and obstacles on the way to stand up and go through the scoring system are different for individual dual diagnoses. Behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with the consumption of simple sugars in relation to addictive behavior

The thesis focuses on the issue of consumption of simple sugar and the psychological and behavioral aspects related to addictive behavior. The aim of the study was to explore and describe whether and how selected behavioral and psychological symptoms are affected by change in the consumption of simple sugar. Data were obtained by semistructured interview and administration of questionnaires. Two questionnaires SCL-90 and the Food frequency questionnaire were used. The research sample was divided into two groups. First - control group are individuals who routinely consume food in which is usually simple sugar. Second - quasiexperimental group are individuals who have at least two years without simple sugar intake. Because of specificity of the selection criteria and in regard to validity of the quasiexperimental group were selected among individuals consuming a macrobiotic diet. Respondents completed an interview and filled out questionnaires within one meeting. Based on data analysis, it was found that individuals who consume sugar showed less psychopathological symptoms according SCL-90, after elimination of sugar also showed more characteristics of addictive behavior in relation to a simple sugar than the control group. The topic of the thesis focuses on nutrition for people recovering from alcohol addiction.The theoretical part of the thesis is to detect excessive use of sugar abstinent women in a psychiatric hospital and common characteristics depending on the seasoning.This section will be described alcohol, its production, its effects and impact on human health. Also described are the mechanisms of physical and psychological dependence on sugar. The harmfulness of sugar on the human body and the effect on his health. The theme of study was the influence of hearing impairment on human development and his status in society in context of risk situation for substance abuse development. Theoretical part is aimed on psychosocial development of hearing impaired people and social situations, which can have an influence on mental health of deaf and hard of hearing people. The aim of practical part is mainly to describe the presence of substance use among the target group, frequency, prevalence, initiation and abuse of substances with choosen screening methods and diagnostic tools, subjective perception of substance use around the respondent, presence of discrimination or bullying, staying in residential schools and other situation of capital importance which could relate to substance abuse. Used tool of data collecting was a questionnaire in paper and electronical form. To better understanding there were made a videos in sign language. Background: Psychonautics is a scientific method used to describe intoxication and effects of psychoactive substances and a form of recognition used by some in order to achieve self- experience and transcendence. Hallucinogenic and psychedelic substances most commonly used for this purpose can possess therapeutical, but also destructive potential, how many researches on the psychedelic therapy topic have shown. During auto-experiments, these substances are being used in nonclinical environment and often without professional or other control, which can lead to many risks, but also benefits. Aim: The goal is to understand the way of psychonautics self-defining through statements and actions of psychonauts. The main goal is to describe a pattern of drug use, subjective consequences and meaning of psychoactive substances use in the lives of the psychonauts from their point of view. Treatment complications in therapeutic community for methaphetamine users in context of ADHD

This is a sub-study project on the effect of ADHD on selected mental functioning, life skills and quality of life of clients recovering from addiction in therapeutic communities (Miovský et al ., 2014), which aims, among other things, describe the negative effects of ADHD on the treatment process in the therapeutic community. The incidence of ADHD symptoms in the treatment of methamphetamine dependence is a major complication of treatment. The aim of this thesis is to describe methamphetamine sub-group specifics in the research sample, their assessment in the TC's treatment process and ADHD diagnosis specifity in this group, constitutes up to 70 % of all treatment demand clients (Mravčík, et al., 2014). The method used for data acquisition are: questionnaire, test, interview, observation, computerization of data (IBM SPSS Statistics 20 was used). For data analysis was used descriptive statistics (descriptive and mathematical-statistical analytical processing). Communication, parental control, and gender differences in parenting styles and their effect on alcohol use among sixth grade students involved in the project Unplugged

BACKGROUND: Foreign studies shown, that parenting style and specific aspects of parenting has effect to children in alcohol consumption. In family style, with minimum alcohol consumption were children from families who enforced authoritative parenting style, also in families where parents communicate with children, give them clear boundaries and control them. AIMS: The aim of the research part of the thesis is to investigate the relationship between communication style, selected aspects of parenting style (such as control and following rules) in the family and alcohol use among children. Another theme of the thesis is also to determine the differences between girls and boys in the prevalence of alcohol use, depending on the researched communication aspects and parenting style. METHODS: To obtain the data was used the questionnaire European Family Empowerment Questionnaire (Sumnal, Calafat, 2010). The questionnaire was translated to Czech language.
