Bachelor thesis deals with the efficient education of employees, if the organization is in a high turnover rate. It deals with the question of whether it makes sense in such an organization to educate employees and if so, what the most appropriate manner. The aim of this work is the analysis of the current situation to help identify the most effective education system, which would partly help reduce turnover. History, present and perspectives of the Universtities of the Third Age in the Czech republic

The bachelor thesis is focused on senior's education that is put into wider psychosocial and economic framework. My thesis characterizes ageing, old age and seniors. Ageing of population is evidenced by demographic dates. It describes negative social phenomenons, especially "ageismus" and an endeavour of society to restrict these negative social phenomenons e.g. prosenior education. The thesis mentions economic impacts of ageing upon society. It contents some documents, both national and international, for endorsment of seniors. These documents declare social, medical and economic importance of care of senior's group. These documents place emphasis on active old age that ensure better quality of life in old age. The education is one of the possibilities. The senior's education is attached enormous meaning. There is originated new pedagogic discipline, which deal with specifics of senior's education, gerontopedagogy. Senior's education is part of lifelong learning and it has mostly special-interest character. The highest degree of education offers the Universities of the Third Age. Periodicals of Czech institutions of adult education in the first half of 20th century

This work deals with periodicals of Czech institutions of adult education in the first half of the 20th century. It focuses on the analysis of one volume of the three institution periodicals. Specifically, the periodical called Česká osvěta and published by Masaryk's Educational Institute, a journal called Dělnická osvěta and published by the Labour Academy and the periodical called Osvěta venkova and published by institution called Free Pasant Study. The focus is on the volume of period 1929-1930. The main topics mentioned in the periodicals include theoretical reflections on adult education and awareness and concrete actions in this field in Czechoslovakia - the legal framework (educational laws), the annual reports of organizations, issues of cooperation at local and national level, an overview of offered activities. Periodicals also bring news, features and examples of similar activities abroad. In the fornamed periodicals there is also place devoted to outstanding personalities from politics, culture and education. Education as an element of improving quality of seniors life

The topic of this bachelor work is education and its influence on quality of life of seniors. This work consist of four theoretical parts. The first chapter consist of information about quality of life and about the influences on quality of life. In the second chapter, I put my mind on characteristic of human aging, on its proces and effects and aspects of ageing. The third chapter gives basic information about lifelong learning and also equally on seniors prepare for retirement. The last fourth chapter describes geragogy as the art and science of teaching old people. This chpter also offers overview of educational oppurtunities for seniors. Also give information about possibility of education at Universities of the Third Age in Slovak Republic - condition for admission to study and also some activities and mission of Universities of the Third Age.
Cooperation of employers and schools as a recruitment form

Cooperation between employers and schools is one form of recruitment. In the theoretical part of this work is the cooperation between employers and schools included in the system of personal activities. Further activities are described in detail in conjunction with schools run by some organization. Mentioned is also the current situation of cooperation between employers and schools. The practical part describes the specific co-operation with schools in the Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile United Ltd. Form of cooperation in this organization is also compared with two other organizations that are on the Czech market for longer effect. Based on a comparison with these companies is recommended possible improvements for Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile United Ltd.
Education of persons in the process of serving a prison sentence in the correctional system of the Czech Republic

The presented bachelor essay introduces the education of persons in the process of serving a prison sentence in the correctional system of the Czech Republic. Its aim is not only to describe the structure and details of convict education in prisons, but also to present a unique project on educating prisoners by the means of a private secondary vocational training center, implemented in the Prison of Vinarice. The essay is divided into three principal sections. The first section describes the current state of the correctional system here in the Czech Republic, studies the purpose and function of punishment, presents the affects of international cooperation in the field of correctional systems on the correctional system here in the Czech Republic and characterizes the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. Further, this section studies the process of serving a prison sentence putting emphasis on treatment programs for convicts. Focus is also paid to negative phenomena in prisons, which are inherently a part of it. The second section deals with prisoner education, its structure, objectives, purposes, possibilities and statutory framework. RESUMÉ This thesis is focused on the equal opportunities for men and women in the labor market. It contains basic terminology and argumentation as well as legislative bases, describes labor market segregation, ways of implementation of the equal opportunities into the company's politics and forms of their use, economical impacts and some examples of best practices. Beside the theoretical bases it also captures particular data and situations in the Czech Republic. I was inspired by printed publications, internet sources and my own practical experience.
Culture of an international company

Working life of most individuals is carried on in organizations. Every organization creates its own corporate culture, that is influenced by external environment and its culture. This thesis is focused on theoretical hypothesis of this subject and their comparison with several real life experiences. It describes corporate culture and its impact on shared values, norms, symbols and artefacts. It concentrates on international companies, where members of different national cultures have to cooperate, and it considers the importance of good preparation and awareness of possible differences as factores, that enable realization of own ethnocentrism, which can subsequently reduce culture shock, caused by different approach to time, space, and especially to communication. The paper focuses on french ethnocentric companies, coming to the Czech republic after 1989 and keeping deliberately french management. Those managers, representatives of the french national culture, are confronted with the local czech culture. The main topic of this bachelor theses is intercultural communication and its use in the field of international human resources management. Emphasis is placed on employees, who must adapt to a different culture for effective performance abroad. The theses briefly introduces cultural standards and barriers hampering the process of intercultural communication. The aim is to clarify the importance of intercultural communication training in the management of expatriates and application of knowledge about the specifics of international human resources management into practical development of intercultural competence.
Internal coaching

This thesis is dealing with internal coaching programmes in organizations. It bases on the theory of coaching method, coaching models and its forms and it describes the process of coaching dialogues. It also confronts coaching with psychotherapy and talks about the role of a coach and requirements for his expertise in the methodology. The thesis is describing internal coaching programmes in general and include specific examples from practice. They talk about reasons and advantages of internal coaching compared to the external. A part of this is a model of internal coaching programme for the environment of a law firm. The model is showing the possible connection of internal coaching with the existing in-company processes and the concept of key competencies of an organization. The thesis is not only following the existing internal coaching models, it is also evaluating them and outlining possible potential of internal coaching programmes in companies.
