Design of automatic exchange of spindle heads
Srněnský, Jan ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design system for automatic exchange of spindle heads shared by several machines. Spindle heads are transported between these machines and placed to the position for exchange. The system also allows storing of heads. Requirements for system are load capacity of 2 000 kg and placing a spindle head to the exchange position with precision of ± 0,02 mm. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part involves search of head exchange principles and shows possible ways to transport heads and other elements that could be used in the system. In the next part are several possible solutions introduced and the selection of the best one is made. The last part contains the design of the chosen solution, visualisation, description and calculations. The result is design of two solutions which are described in this work.
Design and analysis of the cross table
Zemčík, Matěj ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the cross table. That is, designing a linear guide, a ball screw and a motor. In addition, dynamic simulations are used in the MSC Adams for machining cycle and the positioning cycle of the semi-product at rapid traverse. As a simulation output are the „real“ load patterns of the bearings in the placing of the ball screws and the durability of these bearings.
AC electric linear drive for paralell kinematics structures of robots
Nejedlý, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Design of linear actuator for parallel kinematic structure is described in this master´s thesis. The parallel kinematic structure is described in the first part. Open kinematics structure and close kinematics structure are compared. Their benefits and disadvantages are also mentioned. Construction of some parallel robots is illustrated. Linear actuators of different company are described. Mechanical parameters and construction of linear actuator are compared. Design of linear actuator is described in practical part of master´s thesis. A few variation of linear actuator are introduced. Individual variants are evaluated by Multicriteria Decisional Analysis and a final conception is selected. Final conception of linear actuator is elaborated. Reasons for selection of every part of linear actuator are given and basic mechanical calculation design part is made. FEA analysis of the structural part of linear actuator is made. Design of linear actuator is evaluated in the final part.

Strapina, Tomáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Kolíbal, Zdeněk (advisor)
Tomáš Strapina Description of ball-screws BT, Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics, 2009, p. 34, fig. 32, appendices 0 Bachelor thesis refers about function of ball screws.
Design of belt grinder
Denk, Daniel ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor thesis is to produce a construction proposal of a belt grinder, which is, with respect to universality, adjustable in different axes. Grinding technology, belt grinder principle and description of the functionally important parts are presented in the first part. Second part is dedicated to the market research of existing belt grinders, evaluation of their construction design of an optimal belt grinder. Third part includes the necessary calculations, construction design analysis and economic evaluation of the optimal grinder and the project also contains its proposed 3D model created with Autodek Inventor Professional 2020 model nad drawing documentation.
Desigen of support frame
Ress, Vilém ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to design a support frame for electron microscope made from sheet metal semi-finished products. Knowledge of 3D modeling software, finite element method software and knowledge of mechanical design and technology are used in this thesis. The result of this thesis is 3D model of final assembly and drawing documentation of selected components.
Designe of spindel for miling centre
Žebrák, Matěj ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and construction of the spindle of the milling centre. The aim of the thesis is to design an indirect drive spindle with an output power of about 25 kW and a tool interface HSK 63. In the design part, first the selection of the drive method and spindle mounting is made. The selected structural design is then elaborated in detail using the necessary structural calculations supported by strength-deformation and modal FEM analysis. The output of this work is a 3D model of the spindle and drawings of the selected nodes.
Design of single-purpose assembly machine for assembly of gas distributor in gas grill
Procházka, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is creating the construction of one-purpose assembly machine for combination of gas switchboard in gas grill assembly, which is top part of the gas cooking grill, consisting of stainless steel plate and burners. There are three types of burners, one small type, two medium types and one big type. Each consists of aluminium body, nozzle, ignition electrode and gas leakage protection fuse. Prior to construction itself,  variant solutions of the assembly operations arrangement are designated. From those, the most appropriate one is chosen based on multicriteria weighting method. Construction of assembly line is created using 3D modelling program with necessary design calculations. For selected assemblies and parts, a drawing documentation has been created. Risk analysis and security of the machine’s normal operation is an integral part of the thesis. Risk analysis is created for the machine’s normal operation. In conclusion, the costs of purchasing the assembly line are calculated and the return of the investment for purchasing the machine is assessed.
Design of working arm for threading machine
Radil, Filip ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a design of a working arm for a threading machine. The arm has to keep required axis orientation of the tool in the entire workspace, and in addition it has to compensate the weight of threading machine and absorb the reaction forces from the thread which is being cut. The thesis also contains a research part into reaction arms, calculations report of main parts, 3D model of arm and drawing documentation of main parts.
Design of multiple-part frame of screw press with direct drive
Sobotka, Radek ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Omes, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of this term project is the design of cast multiple-part frame of screw press with direct drive with stated parameters for heavypressing. The first part consists of a research in the field of screw presses focused on the construction of the frame and current manufacturers of the screw presses. The second part is aimed at the design of the frame according to specified parameters. The thesis includes press layout drawing, frame assembly drawing, selected detail drawings and 3D model of the frame.
