Outdoor management training from the view of psychology
Šulc, Marek ; Rymeš, Milan (referee) ; Štikar, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation is focused on a description of educational methods for outdoor management training managers. This method bears in its basis on the pedagogy of experience, feelings and learning, so that it is possible to find a detailed description of these psychological constructs in this work. The author took heed of a global process of training and education of adults, also to a problem of basis criteria needed for a succesfull realisation of this educational method. There are real, realizable expectations to this method mentioned together with its limits. In the empirical part is described the outdoor management training from the view of organizational guarantee, from the view of handling with motivation and participant's expectation. You can find benefits of this popular method by selected samples.
The Civil Religion of the USA and its Perspectives in the EU
Šulc, Michal ; Kučera, Rudolf (advisor) ; Kotábová, Věra (referee)
This work is intent on the problem of religious elements present in modem political systems. Its thesis is based on a presumption that religion and its consequences, is still one of the main sources of thinking even in such secularized area as the political space. I assume that the religious elements are present in ideologies as expressions of believe and longing for perfection, which can be reached in the frame of future man existence. That's why the ideologies are called secular religions, because they place the man's salvation to existing people's world, when they try to invent the best - even perfect - systems of social order and policy. That means that they secularize purposes to which the traditional religions (like for example Christianity) try to reach. Ideologies transfer these purposes, to which they refer to their values, to this world, which people recognize as real. It means that they do them "imanent." One of examples of the group of secular religions is the "civil religion" which refers to citizens of a state concentrated to entity of the "People" as to the authority which should decide on everything - values, principles of the society and policy through which the society should be saved (or better redeemed). The base of this decision is in the consensus resulted in a united "general will" of...
Study of the microRNAs in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
Hudcová, Kristýna ; Šulc, Miroslav (referee)
Searching for markers of disease is at the forefront of scientific interest. Biomarker of a specific disease should help in disease management - whether for diagnosing a disease or predicting its progress. We picked microRNAs - short RNAs that regulate mRNA translation, due to their stability and function in the regulation of many cellular processes. Therefore they can be used as a biomarker for many diseases. In our study we focused on neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), since this type of cancer is widespread and clinically important markers are missing. It is in our interest to seek new kinds of markers, suitable for early diagnosis of the disease and the most accurate assessment of prognosis. We selected 3 candidate miRNA (miR-29c-3p, miR-200b-5p, miR-375-3p) and used qRT-PCR method to profile their expression in tissues of patients with HNSCC. MiRNA expressions in 42 tumor samples were compared with the miRNA expression in adjacent tissue of the tumor. Adjacent tissue surrounds the tumor and has interesting properties, as it looks like a histological normal tissue, but on closer inspection it is not. It is affected by tumor tissue and may contribute to tumor progression. We managed to distinguish between these two tissues using miR-29c-3p and miR-375-3p. Additional analyzes were focused on...
Control system of brewhouse
Šulc, Martin ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
Investigation of the necessary theory of the brewing industry. Based on the findings to propose the optimal action and measuring elements such as temperature, pressure, pneumatic valves, drives and others. Subsequent characterization of all elements from the perspective of the control system and extension of technological scheme of measuring and regulating signs. For the section of the brewery brewhouse writing technological sequence with specifying the steps. Based on this description, create a control program for Simatic S7-300 from Siemens. The program is written in STL which takes the form of structured text. Visualization and process control is provided by SCADA system TomPack from the company ProjectSoft. The system communicates with the PLC via DDE server.
CANON IXUS 500 Digital Cameras Simulator and Trainer
Šulc, Martin ; Drozdová, Martina (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with Canon IXUS 500 camera simulation, its basic functions, 3D model of camera plotting and detail help. The main goal of simulation of the trainer is the support of education process at the university of the third age, but also it is a tool allowing testing the camera without buying it before.
Marketing Plan Proposal for a Firm Oriented on Information Goods
Šulc, Martin ; Zámečníková, Eva (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis "The proposal of a marketing plan for a company specialized in information products" is to suggest a system based on the theoretical background that generates the marketing plan from the input data. The important requirement for this system is to respect the specialization of the company, which operates in the field of information products. The thesis contains the detailed proposal of a prototype system, in which the focus is on the user-friendliness and the complexity considering the scale of the issue analyzed. The proposal also contains the possibilities and the limitations which are the results from the mentioned solution. The proposed prototype is implemented successfully. The work also includes the demonstration of all implemented functions and the description of the improvements that lead to its use also in other areas of business than the market of information products.
Laboratory design of a speaker system
Šulc, Martin ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Špiřík, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the project of loudspeakers using freely available computer softwares. The thesis is focused on creation of a laboratory exercise called Laboratory design of a speaker system. The basic quantities describing acoustic wave motion and the principles of acoustic spread are explained there. There are also described different parts of loudspeakers like cabinets, loudspeaker drivers and electrical crossovers. Different softwares were chosen for the design. The descriptions of the most convenient programs for the laboratory exercises are introduced in the thesis. The laboratory exercise is devided into three parts. In the first part there is a brief theoretic introduction, the second part describes the control of the chosen software and the third part deals with the topic of this thesis. I have chosen two different sreeware softwares the most convenient for the construction of loudspeakers.

Program for inovation of the SORT control system
Šulc, Martin ; Kváš, Marek (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The analysis for the extension of the control system and proposal of controlling program for surveillance cameras and related theoretical analysis necessary for understanding problems. Proposal communication protocol to access all functions via TCP/IP communication. Subsequent protocol implementation into control program and a programmable controller. Programming application with a user interface for camera control and basic image processing. The program also represents the server for TCP/IP communication with clients over the proposed protocol. The proposed application has to fulfill high pretensions of data streaming from cameras. Extension of the existing control system of the telescope, dome and other systems. The addition of analog measurement and control of digital inputs and outputs. Furthermore, control of stepper motors to control focusers. The embedded communication protocol will be expanded of the new instruction.
Localization of a Moving Target using a MIMO Radar System
Šulc, Martin ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to estimate parameters of the moving target using different radar configurations. First the Doppler effect and the time delay of the received signal is examined. The investigation of these phenomenons is made for radial and non-radial movement of simple monostatic radar configuration and after that for the bistatic and multistatic MIMO configuration. The ambiguity function is presented for all these configurations. The ambiguity function is then used to estimate target parameters from the received signal. The received signal model and ambiguity function for the monostatic radar configuration is developed using Matlab software. Finally the practical use of these implementations is presented and compared.
