Tempo detector based on a neural network
Suchánek, Tomáš ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Ištvánek, Matěj (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with beat tracking systems, whose functionality is based on neural networks. It describes the structure of these systems and how the signal is processed in their individual blocks. Emphasis is then placed on recurrent and temporal convolutional networks, which by they nature can effectively detect tempo and beats in audio recordings. The selected methods, network architectures and their modifications are then implemented within a comprehensive detection system, which is further tested and evaluated through a cross-validation process on a genre-diverse data-set. The results show that the system, with proposed temporal convolutional network architecture, produces comparable results with foreign publications. For example, within the SMC dataset, it proved to be the most successful, on the contrary, in the case of other datasets it was slightly below the accuracy of state-of-the-art systems. In addition, the proposed network retains low computational complexity despite increased number of internal parameters.
Aquaria Production Pavlica
Suchanek, Tomáš ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with documentation for gaining building permit approval and documentation for building aquarium factory. Thesis is based on earlier created AG032 course study. Popovice is located in Uherské Hradiště county, this parcel of land is located near south border of the county. The estate is flat and relatively narrow; therefore, the shape of the estate has influenced the placement of individual objects. The estate is near railroad station. Because of the near highway E55, the supply and dispatch accessibility is good. The factory is divided into four above-ground objects that are mutually dilated according to the production requirements. All objects do not possess a cellar. The first object is located in the southern part of the estate. In the first object there is a product showroom and administrative section with employee facilities. Due to showroom’s atypical shape, this object is partially made of reinforced concrete and partially made of Porotherm system construction blocks. The production hall is located behind this object. The access to the production hall is possible with a truck, also it is possible to manipulate heavy blocks of glass with a crane. The manufacturing process of glueing has high demands for light, therefore, the object is equipped with roof belt light well and large glass walls. This production hall is connected to waste storage unit in the east side and wood processing building on the north side. Also, there are technological facilities for both objects. The supply and dispatch area is located between the main production hall, waste storage unit and wood processing building. The construction system of production objects is skeleton, prefabricated and based on monolithic nibs. The light wells and roof are made of steel. Waste storage unit’s load-bearing system is made of bricks. Kingspan white colour facade panels are the main connecting elements throughout the whole factory. Behind the factory there is park greenery with
The analysis of the clarinet spectrum from different manufacturers
Suchánek, Tomáš ; Mojdl, Edgar (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis focuses on spectral analysis of six B clarinets made by manufacturers Buffet Crampon, RZ Woodwind Manufacturing and Yamaha. Instruments were tested by two professional musicians with different timbral preferences and the resulting spectrum is then applied to how psychoacoustic measurements define timbre perception. Furthermore, the impact of different dynamics or reeds is discussed and significant part of analysis also describes directivity patterns of individual higher harmonics or characteristic formant areas.
Migration and skeletogenesis of trunk neural crest cells
Suchánek, Tomáš ; Černý, Robert (advisor) ; Mašek, Jan (referee)
The neural crest is specific cell population of vertebrates embryos. It emerges in dorsal part of the neural tube from which it separate as individual cells. After that, these cells migrate throughout the embryo to their final destination. There they are exposed to a molecular signals and then they differentiate into various types of derivatives. The neural crest is distinguished into two main parts - cranial and trunk. While the cranial neural crest has been in the forefront of interest due its skeletogenic potential and participation in formation of the "new head", the trunk neural crest had been neglected due its "less attractive " derivates. Hence this bachelor thesis is focused on trunk neural crest. Especially it highlights the migratory behavior of trunk neural crest cells and its skeletogenic potential which represents opportunity for prospective research about neural crest.
Resonance and Self-resonance: Gilles Deleuze's Involuntary Memory in Marcel Proust and Samuel Beckett
Suchánek, Tomáš ; Procházka, Martin (advisor) ; Vichnar, David (referee)
The main focus of my thesis will aim at a contrast between two works. On one hand, it will be Marcel Proust's heptalogy A la recherche de temps perdu (1913) as viewed by Gilles Deleuze, on the other, Samuel Beckett's trilogy Molloy (1951), Malone meurt (1951) and L'Innommable (1953). The contrast will be dissected through the prism of Deleuze's notion of involuntary memory which he derives out of his analysis of Proust's narrative. Hence the thesis will investigate the involuntary memory and its signs of reminiscence and resonance in Beckett's hands, which will be compared with their distribution in Proust, for the different aspects of the involuntary, which reveals the schizoid narrator in both Proust and Beckett, may correspond with Deleuze's redefinition of essence of truth that is characterized by its primordial schizophrenic setting. Therefore, it will be indispensable to point out how varied the involuntary memory and signs of reminiscence and resonance in their narratives are. The structure of the thesis will consist of four main parts. In order to introduce the readers with the theory of Gilles Deleuze, the first chapter will include the introduction into Deleuze's redefinition of essence of truth - as a response to that, the second will exemplify its revelation in the work of art. In other words,...
Frequency filter
Suchánek, Tomáš ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Káňa, Ladislav (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to design and implement integration that will be building block for tunable active filters 2nd range of low , high and band pass through the jet structure Sallen - Key. This work first examines the use of different types of frequency filters, the detailed design of the components and selection of a suitable operational amplifiers for participation. Practical part focuses on the production of the finished product, measure its parameters resulting in graphs. In implementing are used software such as simulation programme Micro-cap and layout editor Eagle.
Electronically controllable frequency filters with current active elements
Suchánek, Tomáš ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to study the possibilities of the electronic frequency ?lter com- posed of active elements operating in current mode. The main opportunities lie in the change control parameters, most are marginal or quality factor frequency. As the active elements are considered especially CC (Current Convejor), controllable current ampli?er DACA (Digitally Adjustable Current Ampli?er) or combination with the current tracker MO-CF (Multiple Output Current Follower). Another part will focus on the management of the above parameters using digital potentiometers and choosing the appropriate ?lter structure. The ?nal task was to digital control parameters using a PC and measuring its properties.
The movement of goods in NYK Logistics (Czech Republic) s.r.o.
Kavanová, Tereza ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Suchánek, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses in the first chapter of the theoretical part on various types of goods traffic. Some important terms connected to this topic are defined in the second chapter (for example "cross-dock" or "integrated logistics"). The third chapter deals with with warehousing and handling units. At the end of the theoretical part, there is a short contemplation of the recent position of automobile industry due to the current financial crisis . At the beginning of the operative part, the company NYK Logistics (Czech Republic) s.r.o. is introduced. This company is nowadays investigating whether their way of unloading goods is optimal. My task during my intership was to measure the demandingness of various ways of unloading. I proposed four options of unloading which I measured and analysed. The practical part is concluded by a recommendation to the company.
